We had sewage seeping from the ground near our camper the entire time and even though they were pumping twice a day, it did fix the problem. We were unable to use our sewer attachment and had to call to get pumped if we needed to empty. We are coming back for a week next year. We hope it will be fixed by then and would appreciate any credit that could be given towards next year.

Although the staff was friendly, the grass was not cut. Patio and grill were dirty. Sites were too close together.

Our family had the most wonderful time making the best memories. The cabin was so clean and perfect. The Miner’s table was a fabulous experience. The food was beyond delicious. Huge portions. Great friendly service. We are so impressed with Dr. Renee- how personable and approachable she is. We mined and found beautiful herkimers in the mine. It was a great time. We loved it. We will be back.

As a family we try to come here once a year. We always have a wonderful stay. The deluxe cabins are beautiful, clean and well stocked. My 5 year old loves being able to play in the creek and smash rocks to his little hearts content. My son even left his beloved stuffed animals in the cabin by accident and they offered to mail them to us because we live over 3 hours away!

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in the Treehouse. Very nice, quiet and comfortable. A little on the small side. Unfortunately there were ants inside near the kitchen. All in all it was a good time.

Very beautiful KOA. Well maintained and run very well. Great place to eat and lots of fun things to do. We will be back.

What an exceptional Campground! Ate at their restaurant and found some Herklmer diamonds. Both experiences were great. Did not like the pull-in site with a 5th wheel. Way to tight corners pulling in and backing out.

We love the Herkimer KOA. Unfortunately during this stay there were extremely roudy groups at the campground. Our neighbors Monday night were screaming into a karaoke machine until well after 10pm. I didn't feel comfortable approaching them, and called the main number to see if an employee could come through but it went to a recording. I think there should be more staff to enforce quiet hours.

We had a wonderful time! The owner came right up to us and wanted to know our pups names, the camp ground was very clean and the employees were very nice. Our only complaint was the site was on the small side and we really wished they used a weed eater to trim the greenery along the edge of the river so we could see the people tubing down it. We will be back though…we had fun. Thank you!

Tent site flooded after rain for quite awhile (others did not), but other than that our stay was great!

We've been here many times. This time however, we had a few issues. The first was the amount of people that would cut through our campsite instead of walking around. The second issue was a very intoxicated lady at the pool that was talking completely inappropriately to young children. There were many complaints and nothing was done. The staff works hard but they turn a blind eye to complaints.

Wonderful property, great restaurant (Miner’s Table), clean, lots of activities & lovely pool. Loved our sight on the river. Would definitely return!

Pavilion showers were a joke. Built for a small child. Even my children had to stoop to shower! Pavilion bathrooms were also filthy with dried dirt on floors and walls. Otherwise, a great stay. I’d suggest mentioning to tall guests staying at the far end of the park that there are much better facilities by the pool...which we didn’t find out until the end of our stay.

The stay ok The park layout isn’t the best.# 84 was not designed for anything big. We had trees on both sides and couldn’t even open our awning, it started to rain we had to go in. The view to the creek was way over grown! I don’t like that there wasn’t any privacy from the neighbors. Not a place to stay long. The dump station pipe too high should be flush with the ground. Pool not clean

Beautiful landscaping, roomy sites. Enjoyed the pizza delivery. Real wood fired! We found this camp by accident on the way to Maine and sought it out on the way home. Highly recommend especially for big rigs!

We stayed in one of the “luxury” cabins on the water. Nearly $400 for two nights. For this amount of money, a customer should reasonably expect blinds that work, reliable WiFi, comfortable sofa, etc. If you are going to charge as much as that, the service and amenities should match it.

Loved the creek running through the back of the camps, the tubing was super fun, the staff is super friendly!!! So beautiful and peaceful! Only thing that I didn’t d not like about our cabin was the fact the sofa bed was flat, dirty, and was at a slant. So I just slept on the couch. That didn’t ruin my trip. It was perfect!

I don’t do camping AT ALL but wanted to try it out with some close friends with my kids.. what a great trip awesome place for kids to play. Has a blast looking for diamonds, felt safe and it was clean. Not one bug bite!!! Pleaseanly suurpirused at how much fun we had

Very family friendly, loved the different cabin themes there such as treehouse and solar. Nice campground with river close by. Lots to see and do in area, especially the diamond mine next door.

We have come here for many years and will keep coming back from anymore. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. We tried the new clamping pod this year and it was adorable. We’ve Stayed in tents and in both astronomy cabins in the past and have had an equally wonderful stay no matter how we stayed. We appreciate all of you at the Herkimer KOA! ��

Firepit was full of ashes from previous campers, grill was filthy dirty and some of the employees not very friendly. We did have a nice tent site next to the creek.

Although pump out service was provided, I feel like I should have been given a heads up that site 76 sewer connection was not working before I arrived. Instead, I had raw sewage under my trailer until I figured out that the sewer was backed up and over flowing onto my site. I hope the sewer problem is corrected before this time next year.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
