What a fun place to visit.

Despite many open sites put us next to a leaking water pipe and muddy trench, had to walking in mud to hook. Led us to the back-in site and then left. No assistance getting into our spot. Did not feel welcome at office or on site. Free internet was so slow as to be useless despite low capacity during rainy October weekend.

Love this place! Ended up staying another night. The showers after digging all day are reason enough to stay here and you can’t touch the view. We will return every time we mine.

Even though it rained alot, it was still a great place to stay. Probally one the places I felt safest at when I went to bed at night!!! Continue doing what you do!!

We only stayed one night, wish it could have been longer. Great campground, lovely stream and very nice staff. Thanks for making our stay so nice.

I appreciate it the free stay due to my problems when I was there over the summer. However I was quite upset when I found out through your maintenance man I had no cable TV. The other problem I had was when I ordered food from the miners club they said they were understaffed and couldn't deliver. I could not pick up the food because it was raining so hard and I was hooked up to my truck and to.

Other than the shower being extremely hot and not being able to be adjusted to cooler water, the stay was great. Loved the location of the cabin relative the mines and the ability to cook our own food as we wanted. Nice Cabin!!

We stay in one of the basic cabins that did not have a kitchen and bath and would not recommend. The cabin had a musky smell to it and rain came in under the door or wall during a rain storm while there. The campground was nice and we would go back but rent a different cabin.

A true Diamond in the middle of a forest. The RV facilities were good, clean and easy to navigate with my Clads A. However, the Visitor Diamond Mining, Mining history of the site and the area along with the Trading Store and other related activities were a delight and a total surprise. We was were only an overnight visitor but thoroughly enjoyed our short visit and plan to come again.

Very friendly staff, beautiful scenery, good food at the cantina and lodge, clean facility. Public Access to propane grills for campers with sites without them would have been nice.

Comfy and clean. Restrooms just close enough. Trash can in the pod could have been larger. Beautiful view of the river, just a few feet away. Easy check in and check out. Enjoyed every minute !!

One of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed at! The view of the West Canada Creek is worth every penny they charged for our full hookup site.

Other than having to deal with a broken water line causing standing water and mud in the assigned parking space, it was a nice visit. The first week of October we hoped to see some leaf change and by taking day trips 50 miles north, to Speculator one day and Old Forge another, we were rewarded with near peak color. This KOA is also in easy driving distance of the Cooperstown Baseball HoF

Beautiful campground. Close to things to visit. Loved the dismond mine across the road and also the restaurant which is part of the KOA. The meal we had was excellent and sure had plenty to eat. Loved our deluxe site with a full concrete pad propane grill table with table with chairs and umbrella and another bench for 2. Well kept up KOA. Some sites were very close together . Nice cabins.

Beautiful location and cabin. Staff were amazing and Very helpful...every single one of them. Only downfall was the leaf blowing around our cabin. Very loud and made a mess of our car. I feel only unoccupied sites should be done. Personally I enjoy the leaves and the peace and quiet. Also had to do dishes in cold water as we couldn't get hot water in the kitchen.

Unfortunately we were just passing through and certainly wished we had had more time to enjoy the campground and surrounding beauty and amenities. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful spot. Bathrooms could stand a little more attention to cleanliness. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

It was more than I expected it to be. The staff were kind enough to let me into the offices to check in at 8:01 pm and we had been driving for 7 hours. I will be making plans to come back ASAP!!

Enjoyed staying in October, beautiful fall weather, however river too fast for fishing but enjoyed the Diamond Mine and truly appreciated the military discount. Site #82 on the river was very spacious.

Nice campgrounds. Friendly staff. The staff were especially accommodating when our truck broke down and we could not tow our fifth wheel home. We had to have our son come get our camper and tow it home. The staff let us leave our camper there past checkout and blocked the site until we were able to pick up the camper later in the day.

Liked the CG, liked the amenities, Only dislike is the configuration of the short sites along the river (across from the cabins). Half the sites are configured backwards, so you end up with a neighbor facing you... never been to a campground with this setup. I understand that it's easier to share the wiring and plumbing that way, but a traditional back-in setup would be a big improvement.

The campground was lovely. The Diamond mine was fun. It would be nice to have Vegan snacks/ice cream or healthy options like salads and wraps at the snack bar or the camp store. All in all we had a really nice time and would recommend.

The place is clean, friendly, well managed. Only problem I have is paying $1/piece of pine (not hardwood) firewood. $30/nite for a campfire is too much.

The area was beautiful with the river running around the campground and all the places for the kids to play. We will definitely be back!

You had reservations and sights all mixed up between us and our son and daughter in law. They were put on our sight which was more expensive and the office staff seemed confused as to if I was billed correctly even though they said we were. I Am still not convinced that I was not over charged for sight 105 when I was supposed to be on waterfront sight 61.

We had a pull in which is ridiculous. The sites should have been ALL set up as back-ins. Sunday night someone close to us had a huge, LOUD party that went well past quiet time. It seems like there should be someone who maintains the rules of quiet time by going around in one of your carts.

There was a mess up with the reservations for our group of 3 RVs. However, the staff bent over backwards to find spots for us. Kudos!

Nice clean place with lots to do. Our family had an awesome time. The only issues were that the TV's did not work and the one of the AC's in our cabin did not work. We called maintenance and when he came and checked it out he said "I think you should just open a window for tonight and we will have someone come and look at it tomorrow. No one came back but it was cool out so we "roughed it"

A little disappointed at $200+ per night we couldn’t get the cable tv to work for any local channels, even after 3 employees tried to figure it out.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
