Beautiful camp ground have been there 2 years in a row. This year our site was not the best. Pretty disappointed. They said it was a pull in but had to back in to be able to get our truck out. Didn’t have a parking spot for our vehicle and couldn’t even get our awing out. Very tight site and others around us were all spread out had tons of room. Requested a site. Didn’t get anywhere close.

We had a great stay for our first time at herkimer! Very clean staff was super nice! They go out of their way to make sure our stay is on point. The pool was very nice and clean. The only down side was we called the miners Table Restaurant all day to make a reservation (as we were told too at check in) for a birthday dinner and no one called us back! So we ended cooking BBQ at site.

We loved it here. Great staff, wonderful campsites over looking the river. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice short walk to the diamond mines. Can't wait to come back next year around this time.

Only stayed one night but can't wait to go again for a longer stay! Friendly, helpful staff, quiet for sleeping, scenic river tent site and mining for the Herkimer diamond. Lovely campground.

Rooms need to be cleaned better and queen bed is very uncomfortable (should be changed) Other then that my family had a fantastic time. Thanks

The most beautiful KOA we have ever stayed in. Beautiful grounds and a restaurant nearby that delivered to us after a very long day of travel. I would make this a destination.

weren’t able to check in until an hour past check in as our cabin wasn’t ready. This meant that the cleaning supplies used, may be green gave me an immediate migraine since smell had no time to dissipate. Trying to enjoy quiet only to have people w/ leaf blowers coming as close to the empty site next to ours while we were outside daily ,irritating. Couldn’t shower it overflowed. Bunk not mad

Great friendly staff. Rented the astrology lodge... TV didn't work- Maint. Couldn't fix. telescope couldn't figure out, lenses didn't fit it, staff did come and explain how to use but still couldn't figure out. leak in roof- fixed. Only 1 working hammock, other broken I rented this one for the experience that it offered and didn't get it. Was told I'd be compensated, haven't heard anything.

Beautiful spacious well kept resort. We had a special time camping in our RV along the West Canada Creek. The water flowing was so meditative. We were alittle disappointed that the cable was out. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and highly recommend this KOA resort!!

Our site very unsuitable for our rig. Site was uphill and rounded making it difficult to straddle narrow area that was the most level. Appreciated help of the crew to maneuver into our spot and getting level as we arrived after dark/in the rain. In the morning we saw several other vacant sites more suitable. Never encountered “pull in”/assumed it was another way to say “pull thro”, n

We've stayed at many KOA's with our camper, this was a new experience with a cabin. We plan on re-visiting this one with our camper for a longer stay, but may try the cabin again elsewhere for shorter visits.

It’s a beautiful campground. Everyone that works there was so nice! There are fun activities for kiddos and we would visit again (third time).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were impressed by the variety of accommodations, friendly staff, cleanliness of the grounds and buildings, and our experience at the restaurant, Miner's Table (shoutout to the chef). We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dr. Renee, who was extremely personable and such a delight. She even shared her dessert with us. We most definitely will visit again!!

We arrived on a Thursday and the employees were wonderful and welcoming! Only thing we had seen that had not been taken care of was the lawn being mowed, But with all the wet weather this summer we understand! Otherwise it is a real nice KOA resort and will def. be back next year! The restaurant across the street was really good too!

This was our third stay at this KOA and we love it! We were very pleased to see the updates that have been done and it is well worth the stay. There are lots of things to do in the campground and the surrounding area. We are looking forward to our next stay there. Keep up the good work!

Our stay was perfect. The tent site by the creek was peaceful and quiet, our neighbors were friendly and the camp was immaculate. We'll be back before Halloween!

We checked in at 8:35 PM. I was told there would be an envelope with our name and directions on the building. There was no envelope. We were led by someone to our site but he did not have a map of the park for us, did not know the WiFi password and could not tell us when a manager would be available. He said she was off the next day. I was charged over $60 for this overnight stay.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
