I loved the Glamping Pod...an easy way to stay for just one night without all the camping gear. So easy to cross the street to Herkimer Mines and the Miners Table had very good food and very friendly service.

It was very nice. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Only complaint really is cabin was without an ac and it was very hot inside even with a fan we purchased. We would definitely go back but in cabin with ac especially during hot months!!

Stayed in the Windmill for second time in 2 years and booked again for next year. Mini family reunion. Wish we could book out 2 years in advance for different dates and also so more family members could join us. All in all love your park!

Everything is great except when things where needed for cabin had to ask multiple times and the beds are still as hard and squeaky as last time we stayed

Pool was filthy. Reported it numerous times. Also ended up Skimming it ourselves. Filter wasn’t running. Need kids activities

Had a great time. Stone pad for camper was very steep so getting in and out of the camper was difficult. Staff is fantastic. The museum and mine are great. The miner's table is wonderful and the delivery service a huge win!

We rented 2 cabins and a glampcabin with family and enjoyed 2 wonderful nights! My only complaint would be that the pool closed at 8:00 on Saturday night when the sign said 9:00 and our whole evening was planned around an after dark swim so we had some very upset children which could have been easily avoided with the correct time posted.

We camped at a combo RV/Tent site. Site was not free of litter. RV blackwater pipe at ground was full. Water in bathhouse was dangerously hot, 2 of the shower stall handles in W room wouldn’t work. 2 days later there was No hot water only cold. The young women hired for children daily activities was not child friendly nor engaging - bored . Pool and playgrounds� Resort is too big and unmanag

no sign posted of lazy river danger, took us past the exit about 1 mile to get to shore. then when we went to the showers after , if my grandchildren had been standing in the stall they would have been burnt. i immediatly told staff only to be told yes they were aware going to call maintance ,no sign posted even after I reported it. Service at the mine food court VERY slow 1 hour wait .

I think that all sites should be compliant with the way trailers are built so that the sewer can be dumped without having to crawl under the camper to place the hose.

Wonderful staff, great service, loaned us a length of hose, solved our cable hookup issue. Miner's table restaurant very good also. Only issue was our actual site. It was described as a pull-thru but in no way was it a pull-thru. We have a 20-foot trailer and SUV tow vehicle. The site was so small that I doubt a motorcycle with a three-foot trailer could have pulled-thru!! Re-do the site.

Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were camping, so it wasn't a great experience. However, the campgrounds were very nice and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Definitely all staff friendly and curious. Site 111 needs a little gravel when you walk out your door it slopes down a bit. We'll be back! Curtios not curious.

The people who were in our site before us spilled the sewer and there was toilet paper all over, the cable didn't work, this is the most expensive Campground we've stayed at and definitely not worth half of of it. We only stayed because it was raining and storming, we left first thing in the morning. And yes we did tell one of the staff members!

We stayed right on the beautiful creek! It was fantastic! Site was clean and flat. Staff was so helpful and friendly! Only complaint would be that the pool was a bit dirty (a lot of bandaids).

The Herkimer KOA staff, from the minute we arrived, treated us like family. They were genuinely interested in our comfort and ensuring we had a wonderful experience while staying with them. The facilities were all very clean, and there were tons of activities to keep all of us busy and entertained. We look forward to the next opportunity we have to stay with them!

Some of the sites are rather small and additionally the hook-ups aren't convenient for campers. The septic was backed up.

Had a great time fishing, swimming, and mining. Unfortunately, my kitchen had a swarm of ants, there wasn't any cable/direct TV service.

Not the friendliest staff, tent sites are right on top on each other with no privacy at all. Bathrooms were super dirty and gross. Being on the river was the only redeeming quality.

We stayed in a site near the water in a buddy site. Love the concept but did have a little trouble getting our truck in and out after the camper was parked. But the park is clean and we had a great time.

We’ve stayed here in the past and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately this time it was one thing after another. After we were checked in, I received a call that we couldn’t use our sewer and someone would pump out…while making/eating breakfast! Then the water went and when it came back it was brown. Couldn’t shower and had to bleed lines when we got home. Disappointing for money you pay.

Absolutely love staying here unfortunately there was a septic issue and it kept leaking on our site this time besides that would 100% recommend but hopefully they get it completely fixed because it was definitely an issue while we were there

We really liked the concrete patio feature but we were very close to the neighbors. We prefer a more spacious site. The activities for the kids were fun and the campground was well kept.

The full hook ups seem very nice but the water and electric only were extremely tight and just dirt/rock. We have a 40’ class A and had to do a 10 point turn to get in without hitting the fence around the playground. Woke up every morning before 8:00 to the sound of basketball. The staff was extremely nice and very friendly it just was not a good fit for us.

When we arrived, we tried pulling into our campsite but wouldn’t fit. We had indicated that we have slides on both sides but the neighboring site also had a slide on our side. The site was so tight, we were about to leave. Luckily, another camper also had the same issue so we took their site. Also, I’ve never been to a KOA campground that has awning to awning setups. Very uncomfortable.

All the bathrooms are by sites that have sewage hookups the tent sites are no where near a bathroom and can’t have a bathroom on the site. The sites are also stacked right on top of each other. And the map was not up to date. Ended up down a dead end road that was shown as a cut through on the map.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
