We had a wonderful time and the staff is always helpful, courteous and friendly. I was disappointed that a $50 gift certificate I had was refused because it was several years old however the person who signed it had crossed out the words expiration on it. I was guessing it would work but was told I needed to let someone know if I was unable to use it within a year. Nowhere does it say that.

Our cabin was wonderful and the staff was very helpful when we needed it. The telescope in the observatory was a little complicated to use and I wished it came with better instructions. The diamond mine was great! So much fun.

Stay was great, people were friendly and super helpful. Only feedback I have is that the WiFi was terrible. We even paid for the high speed WiFi, but most of the time it wouldn’t even connect.

The beds need an upgrade but the staff and environment more than make up for it. The camp grounds are beautiful, the mines are fun and the staff is exceptional! Thank you! See you again next year.

weren’t able to check in until an hour past check in as our cabin wasn’t ready. This meant that the cleaning supplies used, may be green gave me an immediate migraine since smell had no time to dissipate. Trying to enjoy quiet only to have people w/ leaf blowers coming as close to the empty site next to ours while we were outside daily ,irritating. Couldn’t shower it overflowed. Bunk not mad

Great friendly staff. Rented the astrology lodge... TV didn't work- Maint. Couldn't fix. telescope couldn't figure out, lenses didn't fit it, staff did come and explain how to use but still couldn't figure out. leak in roof- fixed. Only 1 working hammock, other broken I rented this one for the experience that it offered and didn't get it. Was told I'd be compensated, haven't heard anything.

We've stayed at many KOA's with our camper, this was a new experience with a cabin. We plan on re-visiting this one with our camper for a longer stay, but may try the cabin again elsewhere for shorter visits.

Great staff. Well maintained property. Wish pool was heated. Also stayed in Cesar Palace, but our little dog was unable to use fenced in area because she wall right through the fence. Also would have liked to tube, but exit from creek was too rocky for little old people. Entrance look good. Overall, great experience!

The Glamping Pods were exactly as advertised, and super cute! The view of the creek right outside the door is a huge plus, and I love that we got our own fire pit! The staff were very nice and accommodating and I will definitely be back.

We stayed at Herkimer last year with our RV and found no problems. This year we stayed in a cabin and found the experience very disappointing. The hot water system was confusing and while it may be efficient, it is very water-wasteful! The toilet needed to be adjusted as well since it leaked. I also felt that the cabin was not as clean as it should have been (floors) . The A/C filters were dirty

It was the first time we have ever stayed in a cabin this close to the end of the season. We were not impressed with cleanliness of the cabin especially the comforter. There was obvious evidence that it did not get regularly washed. Switches were broken, light bulbs blown, crumbs , wrappers and cobwebs present and prominent. As usual staff was excellent. Kids programming could have been better.

We had a great stay at the Herkimer KOA. We stayed in one of the new glamper pods and it was a great experience. Very clean and staff was super friendly. I didn't realize you could just go tubing on your own. We have little kids (who are beginnger swimmers) and would have needed a life jacket to go tubing. We weren't able to go tubing.

The stay was wonderful for Labor Day weekend- activities for children all weekend, dining at Miner’s Table across the street was delicious! We had breakfast at the cafe at the diamond mine, also very good! Alex, the manager was so helpful when shopping for diamonds and the girls at the front desk at the KOA helped us lock in our stay for next year. This is one of the best KOA’s!

Bathroom was always dirty. Lawn was mowed but cut grass not picked up near cabin. Staff was hardly seen. 10pm quiet rule not enforced. I have I have camped here several times. Never had any of these issues before.

There was a mini tornado that came into the campground and scared the life out of my family. It did a lot of damage to glam 1 and the people were scared. My kids were terrified and hid in a stall in the bathroom, but there was no staff that came out to help any of us. I was in my car the entire time watching two huge tree falls around my car, and no one even came out to help us.

We had the most wonderful weekend staycation. It was a first time in the area. It was wonderful that the resort offers so much fun activities, a restaurant and cafe.

We enjoyed the river, finding diamonds, fishing and the cozy accommodations on the camp grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that would have made the stay better would be if there was a more comfortable mattress in our cabin. Me and my husband couldn't sleep well and woke up with stiff backs. Other than that I wouldn't have changed a thing.

We found the accommodations to be spot on. The location was wonderful right next to Canada creek. Very relaxing! The only problem we had was the Wi-Fi did not work on our phones nor could we see TV. All in all we had a very good time and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the solar lodges. Everything is great except the bed mattress which produced too much noises whenever someone moved. I like all the activities at the camp and everything is well managed and clean. Will definitely come back.

This was our first time staying here & we had an absolutely wonderful time. Your staff is amazing! They went above & beyond. It was truly appreciated. The only thing that was an issue for me were the roads weren’t well marked. They looked almost exactly like the sites & I got lost & drove through vacant sites the first night. Maybe small reflectors along the roads?

We loved our stay at the Herkimer KOA! Plenty of activities, clean bathrooms, friendly staff! I would suggest one thing, really letting guests know the danger of the river rafting. We went down the river and almost couldn't get out of the river because the current was so strong and it was scary. We didn't go down again. I know there is a waring sign up but maybe more should be done.

Worst bed I’ve ever paid to sleep on. Unconscionable choice to put those in a cabin. A crappy bag of springs covered with a thin piece of cloth. Owners should be made to sleep one night there! For $200+! Yikes.

It was nice except for the sleeper sofa in the cottage. It was the worse sleep experience ever.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
