Stayed in the Bluebird’s Nest cabin, it was nice. Mattress on the bunks a little hard but that was expected. Had an issue with the cable it was fixed right away. We had a nice peaceful relaxing weekend with the kids and dogs! Plenty of things to do. Campground was quite not overly crowded which was nice. Staying again in a couple weeks and again next year which will be our 3rd year.

There were a few bugs in the cabin because the sides of the air conditioner had holes in it. It was not that big of a deal, because the rest of the accommodations were great. I did report the air conditioner issue to the desk when I checked out.

Great amenities, but two annoyances. TV - couldn’t get second TV in my RV to pick up the cable channels. Why? Has never happened at any other campground. Also, cable channels would “disappear “ .There were 30 some channels, but at times could only get 5 or 6. Internet- slow is very slow. Signed up for high speed one day, when I put in my password I got it once on my I pad, but never again.Pd

There are only two (2) things that I can grump about. 1) The fire wood sold in the store was damp and punky. Would not burn. 2) The cancellation of project due to lack of supplies, really, no water balloons. Thank you for a fun stay.

Cabin (Solar 2 Orchard) was spacious but had some issues - 1) water temp in shower constantly fluctuated from cold to scalding hot. No one in our group had a decent shower during our stay. 2) shower floor and threshold were spongey and gross to step on. Could see mold on the nearby baseboard. 3) gas grill was a rusty mess. Had maint. swap out cook surface but only 1st burner would light.

Our stay was great fun , lots of activities for the kids to do and beautiful views from our cabin. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cabins came with everything you need , we definitely over packed. The diamond mines were fun as well you could make jewelry from what you find or the bags you buy at the shop.

Was trapped in bathroom at miner area for 10 min. Pounding on door and panicking. Door lock is faulty. Vic at desk told me they already know it’s broken. I was very freaked out, he kindly told me “I don’t have to be so rude when I report the problem”. I was trapped! Wonder why I was worried. clamping - Completely against fire code to plug-in appliance and push bed against it. Burn mark

It was a lot of fun so many events and informative maps and event lists on arrival. It was quite roomy which I wasn’t expecting but I would say fix the lock on the first glamping cabin (49) it’s loose other than that it was still really beautiful and the bathrooms were always fully stocked the showers being inside a bathroom stall and curtain on top of that was a nice touch. We will be back :

The cabin was clean and well stocked with minimal pots and pans and dishes. The RV sites on the river are very close together. Our neighbor had to leave early Friday night so the site was much roomier.

Staff were friendly and campground was pretty clean and the bathrooms. It rained for 2 days but we still had fun up at the mines and found lots of diamonds. Only gripe was our cabin was the only one that flooded in front of it making it hard to cook in a huge puddle. The problem was observed at 6am and at 6pm staff put some rocks down to absorb some of the water. It worked out will be back

We had a great time at the KOA. The facilities were clean and well kept. The workers at the Diamond Mine named Hayley and Jennifer really went out of thier way to make my children's visit special,made special necklaces special ice cream treats! Even the gentleman who came to clean our cabin at check out was extremely nice and gave us hints for next year. We'll be back again!

I loved the Glamping Pod...an easy way to stay for just one night without all the camping gear. So easy to cross the street to Herkimer Mines and the Miners Table had very good food and very friendly service.

It was very nice. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Only complaint really is cabin was without an ac and it was very hot inside even with a fan we purchased. We would definitely go back but in cabin with ac especially during hot months!!

Stayed in the Windmill for second time in 2 years and booked again for next year. Mini family reunion. Wish we could book out 2 years in advance for different dates and also so more family members could join us. All in all love your park!

Had a great time. Stone pad for camper was very steep so getting in and out of the camper was difficult. Staff is fantastic. The museum and mine are great. The miner's table is wonderful and the delivery service a huge win!

We rented 2 cabins and a glampcabin with family and enjoyed 2 wonderful nights! My only complaint would be that the pool closed at 8:00 on Saturday night when the sign said 9:00 and our whole evening was planned around an after dark swim so we had some very upset children which could have been easily avoided with the correct time posted.

The Herkimer KOA staff, from the minute we arrived, treated us like family. They were genuinely interested in our comfort and ensuring we had a wonderful experience while staying with them. The facilities were all very clean, and there were tons of activities to keep all of us busy and entertained. We look forward to the next opportunity we have to stay with them!

We have stayed here before, the only thing I noticed this time was our cabin did not seem to be cleaned, the floors were dirty and there were a lot of cobwebs.

This is my 5th time staying here. Love this place but I didn't like the cabins across the street where I was. To far from everything and if u rent a golf cart you cannot take it across the road so no point in renting one. Only other problem was when u flush the toilet u smell sewage outside on the patio right after. Other wise it was amazing. Hoping next year I get back to the other side. Thanks

Overall it was very good however the water was shut off when I was showering and thankfully I brought my phone with me and called the front desk they said it would be back on in about 10 minutes which turned into almost an hour! And also the pods do not actually lock. You just have to pull and the doors open even when locked.

One of the most relaxing places we have visited. The view from the deluxe cabin was incredible! We didn't get bored of it. The cabin actually had everything we could need during our stay and was super clean. The staff was also really nice and attentive. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everyone was very friendly! Charlie one of the workers was super kind and helpful! The water went out for a half a day though during the stay making the bathhouses inoperable.

Great cabins. Great place for kids. Playground activities clean areas. Property well taken care off. Cool mining activities across the street. Fun place.

We stayed in the treehouse cabin and it was great! The kids loved staying in a “real” treehouse. It was nice to have activities for the kids to do every day and two playgrounds was a plus! Next time we want to try out the astrology cabin! We will be back in the future!

Everything was fantastic and the staff was super kind and the bathrooms were really clean. My only small comment is our cabin was full of cobwebs! I know it's camping, but going over the corners of the cabin when they're cleaning would have made a huge difference! Also the pool was a bit dirty but over all it was fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our cottage was very nice but we were up by the diamond mines and next time would prefer to be down in the campground, closer to action. Crossing Route 28 each time isn’t fun. People drive way too fast through there!

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
