The campground was fine and the staff friendly and helpful, but we did notice that the bathrooms were dirty (not just one day but on-going).

Love the campground! Excellent place for families, kids and even our dogs. Campsites on the river was amazing!!! We had a blast.

Sites very close together. Need to camp on an off season stay. Need to check at sites to see if dogs are on leash. Found my self walking in different direction to avoid off leash dogs. Camp staff was very accommodating. Grounds well kept. Had a very pleasurable time.

Have been coming here for almost 40 years. This year was another great year even though water was low. Seems like there were more bugs this year and not sure if pool filter system was working right. Otherwise we liked all the recent improvements that have been made over the last few years.

Grass in our site was easily 8-10 inches long. I told the office and most of it was mowed within two hours of arrival. The weedwacker broke, and the gentleman never came back. The grass around the playground was overgrown as well. This park has potential, but lacks execution in some aspects. Hay ride was subpar, activities were half executed, bathrooms were dirty.

There were many things to do. We had lots of fun in the pool, on the river and at the playgrounds. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Campsites were beautiful along the river, but they were very close together.

Most aspects of our stay were average or above average. Visiting the dump station lowered the score. The dump station on a hill prevented our black/gray tanks from emptying. This was very inconvenient.

This stay was the lowest KOA experience we ever had, The site was not as represented. There was no view of the river, rather a view of a concrete dump/land fill and a dried swamp area. Parking our small trailer was extremely difficult. The only dump station we could find was closed, which we only discovered as we were leaving. The office, run by teenagers, never mentioned the situation.�

Our stay was great! We loved being by the water and our dog enjoyed having a space to be off leash in the k9 park.

As always the campground is spotlessly clean and the staff is friendly. I loved being able to put a chair in the creek and sip an adult beverage on a hot summer day. Heavenly.

This campground is always neat, clean and ready for a good time. The staff is professional and kind. We come here at least once a year and look forward to it. Keep up the great work!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Herkimer Diamond KOA. They had so much for the kids to do all weekend long with events/activities nearly every hour. The creek was beautiful and so much fun to go tubing down. The pool was great and the staff was very friendly. We didn't even have time to explore the mines so we are adding it to our list of places we'd love to go to again.

We loved our stay! The showers were super clean, there was sooooo much for our 13 and 11 year old to do! The employees were all incredibly nice too!

Loved the gal at the desk that registered us - friendly, positive and very helpful! Loved the fish pond- loved the kids fishing. Loved the free pancakes- a great idea for parents!!

Our stay was great. We can not think of anything that needs to improve. The best campground we have ever stayed in! And we came home with diamonds!

The site was hilly and uneven this is the first time I found a KOA not worth the money. I never think twice about staying at a KOA but I will going forward

This is the most fun KOA or place similar that we have ever stayed. There is something fun for everyone here. A floatable fishing stream, themed educational houses, a tree house, movies, crafts, game fields, swimming. And of course the Herkimer diamond mines. Least I forget they have an outstanding restaurant. Sn excellent bistro, and staff that are friendly and helpful.

This might be our favorite KOA! The diamond mine is directly across the street (and guests get a small discount) and there’s river tubing goes from one end of the park to the other. There were quite a few fun kid’s activities planned. The nearest grocery store and Walmart are only about a 10 minute easy drive away. We will be back!

Year after year, we have a wonderful stay, the staff is friendly and there are lots of things to do at this campground, not to mention the specials in the restaurant across the street which the camping office promotes. It was wonderful! We used the pool, went to Bingo, stayed for the DJ, and floated in the creek. We also ordered a special Fathers Day clam bake on Sunday. Very easy to re book also!

Although we only stayed one evening while on our way to our destination, our back-in site along the river was peaceful and relaxing enough that we adjusted our return route plans so that we could stay again on our way home. The site and facilities were clean and in good shape. We ordered dinner to our site from their Miner's Table restaurant and that was delicious.

We had sewage seeping from the ground near our camper the entire time and even though they were pumping twice a day, it did fix the problem. We were unable to use our sewer attachment and had to call to get pumped if we needed to empty. We are coming back for a week next year. We hope it will be fixed by then and would appreciate any credit that could be given towards next year.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
