What an exceptional Campground! Ate at their restaurant and found some Herklmer diamonds. Both experiences were great. Did not like the pull-in site with a 5th wheel. Way to tight corners pulling in and backing out.

We love the Herkimer KOA. Unfortunately during this stay there were extremely roudy groups at the campground. Our neighbors Monday night were screaming into a karaoke machine until well after 10pm. I didn't feel comfortable approaching them, and called the main number to see if an employee could come through but it went to a recording. I think there should be more staff to enforce quiet hours.

We had a wonderful time! The owner came right up to us and wanted to know our pups names, the camp ground was very clean and the employees were very nice. Our only complaint was the site was on the small side and we really wished they used a weed eater to trim the greenery along the edge of the river so we could see the people tubing down it. We will be back though…we had fun. Thank you!

We've been here many times. This time however, we had a few issues. The first was the amount of people that would cut through our campsite instead of walking around. The second issue was a very intoxicated lady at the pool that was talking completely inappropriately to young children. There were many complaints and nothing was done. The staff works hard but they turn a blind eye to complaints.

Wonderful property, great restaurant (Miner’s Table), clean, lots of activities & lovely pool. Loved our sight on the river. Would definitely return!

The stay ok The park layout isn’t the best.# 84 was not designed for anything big. We had trees on both sides and couldn’t even open our awning, it started to rain we had to go in. The view to the creek was way over grown! I don’t like that there wasn’t any privacy from the neighbors. Not a place to stay long. The dump station pipe too high should be flush with the ground. Pool not clean

Beautiful landscaping, roomy sites. Enjoyed the pizza delivery. Real wood fired! We found this camp by accident on the way to Maine and sought it out on the way home. Highly recommend especially for big rigs!

Enjoyed the 3 days we stayed even with the rain… talked to Alan what a great person … everyone was very helpful … the garden is starting to look good … we’ve booked for next year already .. thanks for a great time

This KOA is beautiful there is a ton of activities for the kids to do and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Although pump out service was provided, I feel like I should have been given a heads up that site 76 sewer connection was not working before I arrived. Instead, I had raw sewage under my trailer until I figured out that the sewer was backed up and over flowing onto my site. I hope the sewer problem is corrected before this time next year.

We had an ok stay. We are a large camper and we’re put on a site that should have had a smaller camper on it. While walking around there were very small campers on much larger sites than we were on.

We had a fun and beautiful stay . The camp was very well taken care of and maintained .but we did have a terrible issue . We were at a site directly across from the rented windmill cabin. On our last day an awful sewer stench would come from there. It seemed the stench was coming from the vent pipe on the roof. For that reason, our next camping trip won’t be close to a rental cabin .

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Lots to do and the place was super clean! The only drawback was the fact that so many sites have patios facing each other. Not a big deal as long as your neighbors are great people! All I all , enjoyed ourselves enough to head back in the future for sure.

Besides the wonderful KOA site, and the Awesome Herkimer Diamond mines, What placed this experience above the top was the employees. Everything was laid back, Prices were very low for things like Ice cream and pancakes. My grandson (age 12) had a great time and wants to make this an annual event. Thank you all for your welcoming atmosphere. Even the road into the park was spectacular and relaxing

For a diamond Koa I was disappointed in the cutting of the sites sites across from us looked like a dump. The site next to us had garbage in the fireplace and still had not been cleaned before we left. Nice facility other than that. Nice employees

We had an amazing stay at the Herkimer KOA. Clean facilities, clean campground, and customer service that is ON-POINT! Even if we werent mining for diamonds, we would come back here just because it is such a nice place!

Love Herkimer KOA!! Been there twice already and see many trips there in our future. Beautifully kept, great staff and really like the creekside patio lots! Keep u the good work guys!

As a returning visitor it did not disappoint. The restaurant is delicious. Big portions and the deck is beautiful. We loved it. And the girls were so so nice. Saturday the DJ was tons of fun. I think I left five pounds of sweat on the dance floor. The only thing I can say I think u should have a radio or music playing at the pool. And maybe skim the top of the water more during the day.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
