The KOA is beautiful! Biggest problem is the turn in to Diamond Dr. as narrow and tight. Doable but not big rig friendly. Staff was great!!

We have camped in over 100 KOA campgrounds since we began RV’ing. This is the nicest of all. It is clean, well maintained, and in a stunningly beautiful setting. It is well designed with large, level sites. Staff was great! If only all campgrounds were this nice.

A very pleasant spacious campground. The sites are generous. The sound of the water over the rocks in the creek is wonderful.

Lovely campsite. We loved sitting out and listening to the sound of the creek. Bathrooms were wonderful and well kept. Plenty of space to walk the dog. Miner’s Table restaurant was so handy. One of our favorite campgrounds anywhere we have been—and we’ve been all over the country for 4 years.

We reserved a big rig pull through so I wouldn’t have to unhook our toad. We were escorted to a site that I could not turn into with our 44’ coach. The turn was too tight. I was already committed and couldn’t back up so had to unhook the toad. There were other pull throughs better suited to my rig, including one being used buy a small travel trailer that was not hooked up to the tow vehicl

Our one night site was uneven (our level ers weren't workink) and as far back in the park as possible! We told front desk we wanted to have dinner across the road, giving us a long walk in the rain. We were not offered transportation to the restaurant. They need to improve signage from the interstate to the park!!! Food at the restaurant was great and our server was very friendly!!!

Overall the campground was nice. There were no pull thru sites with patios. The patios they did have were 50 amp only and back in, and not level. The gas grill was in poor condition with a grate covered with thick rust, not the original grate, it didn't allow cover to close. When the issue was mentioned the staff member they said, "they are all like that, they are outside all year". Disappointing

Beautiful park, but we only had only 3 unwatchable TV cable stations. Minor, but irritating problem.

Very nice park. Themed cabins, a nice river, Mountain View and a lot of activities. This would be a great park for any group. They also have a cafe and a restaurant across the street.

Very nice Campground and we loved the quite. The other thing we love was the lack of light pollution for star gazing. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

High Speed WiFi did not work better than the low speed for the entire weekend. Cable channels were mostly unavailable. I got 27 of the 56. I stayed at site 85.

Our stay was good. The site we had was just way to close to other sites. Too smooshed in. I am very offended by these ridiculous rules that are in affect about certain dog breeds not being able to stay at your facility. The stigma of the bully breeds, dobes and other such breeds deemed scary or offensive come on now. Man put the stigma on these breeds! This is discrimination!

Beautiful camp ground have been there 2 years in a row. This year our site was not the best. Pretty disappointed. They said it was a pull in but had to back in to be able to get our truck out. Didn’t have a parking spot for our vehicle and couldn’t even get our awing out. Very tight site and others around us were all spread out had tons of room. Requested a site. Didn’t get anywhere close.

We had a great stay for our first time at herkimer! Very clean staff was super nice! They go out of their way to make sure our stay is on point. The pool was very nice and clean. The only down side was we called the miners Table Restaurant all day to make a reservation (as we were told too at check in) for a birthday dinner and no one called us back! So we ended cooking BBQ at site.

We loved it here. Great staff, wonderful campsites over looking the river. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice short walk to the diamond mines. Can't wait to come back next year around this time.

The most beautiful KOA we have ever stayed in. Beautiful grounds and a restaurant nearby that delivered to us after a very long day of travel. I would make this a destination.

Beautiful spacious well kept resort. We had a special time camping in our RV along the West Canada Creek. The water flowing was so meditative. We were alittle disappointed that the cable was out. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and highly recommend this KOA resort!!

Our site very unsuitable for our rig. Site was uphill and rounded making it difficult to straddle narrow area that was the most level. Appreciated help of the crew to maneuver into our spot and getting level as we arrived after dark/in the rain. In the morning we saw several other vacant sites more suitable. Never encountered “pull in”/assumed it was another way to say “pull thro”, n

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
