Everything was excellent! I would surely stay again, as this was my third time. The site was all that we could have hoped for, right next to the river as we had asked. The baths were clean, and the campground well maintained. The pool was the same. The service personnel were pleasant and helpful.

The facility was nice. Pool was very cloudy.... customer service not very friendly. I went to the office at checkin, and guys behind the counter were eating hot sauce.... not real attentive to the guests. I went a second time to purchase something, and waited in line a bit, while the guy cashed people out, 2 girls at the other register counting the cash and chatting, while ignoring the customers

We loved our stay at Herkimer. The staff was exceptional and even delivered firewood to our site. There is so much to do - mining for diamonds, pool, tubing in the river, shuffleboard, basketball courts to name a few. Beautiful camp sites that are exceptionally maintained. We can’t wait to come back. (24 ft Class C)

We really enjoyed every second of our stay. There are so many things to do. Campsites are well maintained and grounds and restrooms are clean and desirable. Had a great time on our tubes in the water! Kids loved it!

Very interesting Rv park! Mining for the kids Astronomy, solar , and tree house sites We camped along the river with a patio site No issues, friendly staff! Only issue we had The on-site restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday Also don’t use gps garmin takes you on another journey Yes we would stay here again

Staff are extremely Professional! We stayed for a night in June on our way North and liked it so much we stayed in Aug on our way South. Nice Flat, Large Campsites with easy access in and out!

Enjoyed stay very much. Disappointed with the scheduled activities. Grandchildren were looking forward to them and some never happened or were over in 5 minutes. Activity was scheduled for a time frame and if you weren't there at start of time and went later no one was there. Daughter went to office and they got someone to do them, but this person really didn't want to be there. Very clean & nice

We had a good time with our 5th Wheel. Great site near the creek, relaxing pool time and met some great neighbors. Excellent service from all of the staffers made us feel right at home. The only drawback was the weather took a bad turn. We were sorry to do it, but left a day early. Looking forward to our next visit. Fingers crossed for better weather. Thank you.

We had a great time. The campground is great for families or couples. They had a ton of stuff to do for kids the campground is clean and well maintained and the staff was very helpful. The grandkids had a great time at the mine and we enjoyed a drink at The Miners Table. All around a great stay!

Beautiful campground but a bit close on the patio sites. We reserved for next year, but in a different area all together. We had a very difficult time with a 36 foot travel trailer trying to get out with vehicles parked so close

We had a wonderful time with our spot on the west Canada creek Friendly staff and nice park with plenty to do in a great location especially for Rock hounds like us! Shout out to Howard the Veteran pleasure meeting him a very likable soul. It was a pleasurable stay

We were at 2 sites in 6 days both sites could NOT get cable TV at all said it was my TV it is 2 years old. They said the cable tester is broke and a new one is on order. I feel the 5 people who checked my cable waisted their time and mine. Spend $100.00 on a tested at Lowes. Your cable TV is to weak for other campers also, We have camped at 1Herkimer several times and this is the last for us.

We were only there for a weekend but I loved our site we had by the water. I do wish there were more room between campers or the pads were all on one side because if you get someone facing you that you don't want to talk to it's kind of inconvient. But over all we had good people next to us and we enjoyed talking with them. Want to set up a time next season for my whole family to come.

Good overall stay. We would love it if you would keep our dogs rabies certificate on file like all the other campgrounds. We stay several times a season so it would be nice to not have to get it out each and every time.

Showed up on a Sunday with no reservation and they were able to spot us. Stayed a couple of days and hunted some Herkimers. Met some nice people including Harold who gets props for his friendliness.

It was a decent campground. When we arrived, we found that our site was very oddly setup. It didn’t work for us, with the placement of the utilities, etc… The staff was accommodating in letting us switch to the site next to us. I found the campground to be decently maintained. I picked up lots of garbage and butts. Says non smoking, but lots of people smoking cigarettes and marijuana.

Nice facility! Pull-in/back-in sites are confusing but fortunately we have a small camper and can do either in the same space! Kids wished they had a bouncing pillow but lots of fun activities despite the high River (no tubing) due to the rains. We will be back!

I ordered pull thru site. They gave me a pull in site. Not suitable for a 5th wheel no room to get truck back out after unhook.asked for a vacant pull thru told they were all taken for the coming weekend. They should filter their reservations to accommodate people

Campsite 50 not good when it rains, my outdoor rug was floating on water and our vehicle was surrounded with water and mud. Wouldn’t mind coming back but prefer getting a site further down the road towards 65 as those sites looked a little bigger with more room between the neighbors.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
