This was a great overnight stop. Gotta love all pull through sites and level no less! The hosts were personable and efficient. No trouble with power at this campground.

Was nice. Was surprised we were put in the parking where pet walk was with no pet. Also was shocked to see a $1.50 fee with absolutely nothing said about the fee on a $10 charge. I had A debit card and clearly would have used… had I been informed. I found this to be not “friendly” especially when we just joined KOA! Otherwise a great park!

Second time we’ve stayed here. First time was good, a little disappointing this time. The site we were assigned was on the west side. The neighbor on that side had a large pile of manure which made for an unpleasant odor.

Nicest KOA we have stayed at during this long trip. Beautiful, huge trees/ lots of shade, but well kept grass and green areas. And never before have stayed at a place with storm shelters available.

I was surprised to find out that this wasn't really a stay and play type campground, but more of a pit stop for people. Everything gets really quiet early at night because everyone gets up a leaves early in the morning. There was a faint sewer smell almost the entire time. Nothing overwhelming, but I think it's because so many people are leaving and the sewer caps are often off and on.

Stopped for an on the road overnight. Very accommodating. Showers and restrooms are great. The grounds were well kept. The crew even came around to warn of a storm and advise us to keep our awning closed .

The campground is in need of some cleanup and maintenance. As we took a walk in the evening we passed an old horse trailer with flat tires that was stuffed with aluminum cans and multiple brush piles and other junk. There was also a small holding pond that when the wind blew sent a sewer smell to our campsite.

Very nice grounds and facility. Oe thong you should know is this campground is very close to I 90 and there is significant traffic noise. If you are a light sleeper be prepared!

I was disappointed in the condition of the pool. The plaster was coming off of the side of the pool and the chips were scattered throughout the bottom of the pool making it unattractive and questionable for use. More attention needs to be made in the cleanliness and appearance of the pool. Other than that, my stay there was enjoyable.

Easy in right off the highway. Great pool for cooling off in the summer months. Hook-ups are very typical of KOA reliable quality. Sites somewhat narrow, but with great shade trees (we did not even use our awning once). Off leash dog area is typical 20 by 12 foot area with split fencing for puppies who are traveling with you. Office staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Very nice campground - the owners/hosts are super friendly. Easy access on/off I-90 and to the famous Corn Palace. It’s mostly used as a stopover place. Pool was refreshing. One evening a severe thunderstorm was heading in and the owners went around advising travelers to put their awnings in. Very thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground, just really noisy (vehicle traffic). Pool was awesome and staff was friendly, even warning us of incoming severe weather and reminding us of storm shelter areas.

Very helpful staff. I had a problem with my a/c unit and had to get onto the roof of my rv to make temp repairs and was able to do that thanks to staff members who brought me a ladder and offered to help.

Great campground-close to the highway but quiet and lots of shade. Clean bathrooms, great showers, and friendly staff. There was a nice breeze all evening and a beautiful sunset. We liked everything about Mitchell KOA.

We pulled in at 11:30pm. It was very dark and the campground was poorly lit and the signage was poor. Due to this, I hit a low tree branch which will cost us almost a $1000 to fix and no summer camping. In the day time, the signs look ok but at night they’re confusing. Owner was nice and helpful but said accident was our fault but better signage and proper lighting would have easily prevented th

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Has you paid attention to the map, you wouldn't have drove through A-11, and if you had kept it on the pad you wouldn't have hit the tree limb. But cutting through a campsite and through the grass yes you hit it, a map is a map even when it's dark out.

Plenty of paces to park, lots of shade trees, clean bathrooms, small pool for kids and a soak. Good overnight stay at reasonable price.

We stopped for one night traveling on I-90. Very easy access from the interstate. The campground is very pretty and well kept. Hubby said the showers were super clean. Definitely will stay again when traveling on I-90!!!

Awesome! Wonderful campground, very welcoming. We absolutely LOVED that you have multiple pet walk areas AND multiple dog runs. Thank you! Other campgrounds should do the same. We will definitely stay again next time we come this way.

The camp hosts at this KOA are extremely accommodating and friendly. They take pride in the campground. The showers and restrooms are very clean. Personally, this was a stop-over for me so I can't comment on activities around the area. I would highly recommend the campground to those who want to stop in or stay for a few days.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
