Jim and Jerry are always very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are always clean and so is the cabin we get for the week. Just a great place to stay.

We had several sites booked for a family memorial. The accommodations were great. Bathrooms were stunning. Our cabin floor needs a little tlc (5) We will be back.

Everyone was so nice. The entire campground was clean. The cabin I stayed in was fresh and clean. It’s caulking was complete so no bugs were coming in and out. That was really appreciate it! Places to walk your dog around the entire campground. Lots of trees. Thanks again!

The campground, cabin and restroom were very clean. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the swing.

Nice campground, great owners. Air conditioner in our cabin was a bit under powered.

We really liked the beautiful and clean bathrooms. The colorful porcelain sinks and shower head above the shower were nice. The only problem was not being able to park closer to the laundry room. We liked that the driers took one quarter at a time instead of full $2.50 like another KOA in Missouri. We liked the trash dumpster being easy to find by the gate. It was a good place to stop and sleep.

This KOA is the cleanest one I have ever seen. The bathrooms were so clean, and beautifully decorated. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Very short stay but everyone we met was very friendly. The facilities were clean and well kept up.

Nice campground. Facilities super clean and well maintained. Cabin locations under trees in pleasant location. Very disappointed with lack of cleaning inside. Quite apparent no one had cleaned. Debris under bed, (including water bottle, dog toy, hair pin, clump of something black and dust. Should be cleaned after each use.

The cabin was nice, tube floor was a little flimsy. The camp was clean and well kept. It was a nice place to stay.

I stayed in one of the Kabins for the week of Dakotafest. The room was very clean and they had the AC running for me before I even got there. The bathroom/showers were extremely clean and stocked. I stopped at the camp store a couple of times and even though they were low on normal stock from other issues, they had everything I needed. Great place to stay. I didnt try the pool or mini golf

I had really good memories of the Mitchell KOA from years ago. It’s still pretty nice but unfortunately the caretakers are letting their political views show which is unseemly. Also in the midst of the pandemic they don’t seem to be taking any precautions to protect themselves or their guests. I was sad to see that.

Nice place friendly people great bathroom and showers. Camp store not so much. Dark dingy and not very inviting felt like you step into somebody's unfinished basement. Outside of that everything was good.

Check in was very easy. The cabin I stayed in was very clean and the overall campground was very quiet despite being very busy. Access from the freeway is all but a minute or two. I will definitely being staying again.

cabin was small. bed was hard, Both beds were bunk beds so you could not sit on bottom bunk with out being crunched, not enough head room. only 1 char in room. the grounds were perfect. wish i had been closer to restrooms as i am slightly impaired. I will stay again if i am in the area.

The Kamping Kabin was clean and comfortable. The KOA felt safe and was quiet hours were definitely adhered to which I appreciated.

Jim was patient with us on late arrival. Accommodating with a plan b for us. Bath houses were absolutely beautiful and clean. The women’s that house included beautiful mosaic sinks and copper walls. People respect it quiet time in our cabins were clean. We had a good nights sleep

It’s a good enough place to stop for an overnight - clean facilities, friendly staff, & nice pool (a little cold but doable when it’s hot!). The downside is the sites are very small - we felt like our fire pit was on top of our neighbors camper. But for one night it’s fine!

3 night kabin rental. We had an exceptional experience at the Mitchell KOA. Clean with a great site layout and the best Camp K9 we have seen/used. The bathroom/showers were exceptional in cleanliness and decor. Management was friendly and extremely helpful. We will be going back to Mitchell KOA with our rig and plan an extended stay.

This is a quiet and shaded KOA. We stayed here for a night and was impressed with the customer service. It’s a short drive to downtown Mitchell for food and the corn palace and there was several things for our kids to do (playground and mini golf).

We stayed for one night on our way to Yellowstone. This KOA is very clean and the hosts were very friendly. I NEVER like campground bathrooms but their bathroom was just adorable with the brightly colored sinks and mirrors and very very clean. I highly recommend.

Was such a great stay! What a beautiful job on the remodel of restrooms so glamorous! The putt putt golf the kids had a great time! Live the bikes you have for everyone to rent! So much to do and so close to everything !

This was my first time to stay at an KOA I loved it! We got a little cabin. It was clean. It did not have a bath room, was not a problem the public bathroom and showers was decorated so nice and clean. The host was friendly and helpful. If I ever get back to South Dakota I would stay there again.

Convenient location. The bathroom was spotless. The cabin we had the floor is very bouncy. I was concerned I would fall through it so I walked softly. There also is quite a slant to the floor which could be an issue to people with balance issues.

Primative cabins have know bedding or towels. So that was a disappointment since we were not prepared. We are staying at deluxe cabins the rest our trip.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
