Great KOA. Honestly one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. (Not just for a campground.). The family really enjoyed a one night visit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had an issue with our jacks!! The bathroom/showers were very, very nice and extremely clean!! We did not use the pool, but looked nice and was full of families having a good time!! Would HIGHLY recommend!!

We wished we would have stayed longer at this KOA. Great WiFi, we were greeted by a very friendly staff and the store was well stocked. The bathrooms and showers were clean and very well decorated. It made you feel like you were at home�

We had a very enjoyable stay and were delighted to have a working swimming pool on a very hot day. The hosts were most pleasant and helpful. The ladies" bathroom was beautiful for a campground and very convenient. And we were impressed by the tornado shelters and the dog off the leash area.

It was an okay KOA, nothing spectacular. Was hoping to do laundry, sign said open 8:00 am but still at 9:00 no one showed up. Also store didn’t open til 10, most campers leave early, it would have been nice to pick up a few items at the store.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You really should get your campgrounds right before making a survey. Our laundry is open 24hrs, and our store opens at 8:00.

We don't usually stay at KOAs because they are usually over crowded and too busy for our tastes. However, for this stay we really needed all the amenities a KOA had to offer (Internet, Laundry, Hot Showers etc). We could not have been more pleased with the experience we had.

Stayed at Mitchell KOA in 2020 and made sure to stop again on our way west in 2021. Level spacious sites, good utilities, neat and tidy, but have never used their restrooms/showers. Owners are friendly and accommodating. Camp is off highway in a grove of large trees with farm land surrounding. Quite idyllic with big town amenities and things to do near by. Highly recommend this camp.

We were having car troubles when we arrived and the staff were very helpful and accommodating, allowing us a late checkout and let us borrow tools.

Very little space between our camper and the next camper. Some shade but no space to put chairs and sit.Staff were friendly, but will be looking for a little bit bigger space next time we camp

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You need to take into consideration that this is a 60 year old campground, the largest camper when this was designed was 32 foot. slides and fifth wheels weren't even invented yet.

Great place. We always enjoy our stay here. The owners are so friendly and helpful. This is a busy park, lots to see and do in the area. Fun to see all of the campers having a good time. We love this place and stop here every year at least one time. Thank you Jim and Jerry for making Mitchell KOA one of the best in our travels. Check out the restrooms and showers - they get a 5 star review!

We had no problems. They showed us to our spot and asked if we had any questions or problems they could help with. It is a quiet place to stay even though we were only there for one night.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
