Very clean park. Lots of shade trees. Close to the interstate but no noise. We've stayed here a couple of times and will do so again.

Dog friendly with clean and grassy dog exercise area. The bathrooms and shower are very clean. Lots of large shade trees. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

We really liked the beautiful and clean bathrooms. The colorful porcelain sinks and shower head above the shower were nice. The only problem was not being able to park closer to the laundry room. We liked that the driers took one quarter at a time instead of full $2.50 like another KOA in Missouri. We liked the trash dumpster being easy to find by the gate. It was a good place to stop and sleep.

Best bathrooms of any campground where we have stayed. Site was LEVEL! An abundance of shade trees!

We enjoyed the Ice Cream Social, met a lot of campers, and compared our stays and offered suggestions to new campers. As always the employees were great.

Thank you for the review, but you have the wrong campground, we don't have ice cream socials, and the only reason is I can not have ice cream and have no will power so if it was here would eat it. Jim

Very enjoyable stay, we will visit again and stay longer. Management was excellent and service was unbelievable. Not only can you have your Propane filled, they came to our RV and picked them up, filled them and then returned them back. Outstanding.

Great shaded sites. Nice dog walk areas. Those running the KOA couldn't be nicer. They make you feel like family.

Beautiful KOA. It has wonderful trees for shade . My complaint would be the lots are very very small and also would like grates on the fire ringsif you want to grill out on a Wood fire. It’s a very good halfway point for us.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have grates for the fire rings all you have to do is ask for one, as far as small sites remember this campground was designed in the 60's and there were no large rigs and slide outs hadn't even been thought about.

Love this little KOA. Everyone is always so friendly. The park is nice and flat, making it easy to walk around and park the camper easily.

Stay was good. Well The only reason I didn't give it a ten. Was the sewer odor coming from dump station kept us from sitting outside in the evening. Staff was helpful with information about area.

Owners were very friendly & helpful, Grounds were very well maintained, sites were level and rest rooms were the nicest we have used since we left Wilmington NC.

Excellent KOA with extraordinarily clean and stylish bathrooms. The rainfall shower heads are wonderful, and the entire campground is neat, clean, shady, and well cared for. More like a KOA Holiday than a Journey. Wish we could have stayed longer

Sites are way to narrow! Campers are right on top of one another. Barely room for a picnic table much less anything else.

We called frantically needing a place to stay. We were told there was a spot available and received good directions on how to the campground. The guys in the office stayed and helped us ...even a little past closing time. They directed us right to our spot. Very nice guys... and the site was nice too. We felt right at home. We would definitely stay again.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
