This was the nicest koa we have stayed in & we've been in koa's since June 13th..from mi. To utah & back,there was so much for kids to do here,I wish it were closer to Michigan so we could come back every weekend !!

Sites are lots of gravel, mud and way close together. Picnic table was a foot from neighbor'sewer hose and waste dump connection. not peasant Nice dog park

Friendly staff. Mostly level sites. Beautiful pool. Clean laundry room. We could not enjoy being outside as the wind was gently blowing and all we could smell was the dump station. It is possible a camper didn't do a good job cleaning up after they dumped their black tank.

If it was a southerly breeze you may have been getting a smell from the cattle field to our south or the lagoon.

The staff and check in was flawless. However dogs were running around unattended and there was dog poop by our RV that was on our water hose when we rolled it up. Not much shade.

If you don't come and tell me about the dogs, I can't do anything after the fact.

It’s a great place to stay overnight and take a shower (very clean Kohler rain showers) on way to/from Black Hills/Badlands. Proximity to the Corn Palace was great but has minimal amenities and recreation for kids. But the showers were special!!

Just far enough off the freeway to hear no noise at night. A nice restaurant within walking distance, just behind the RV park. Nice neighborhood. Can’t go wrong with this park.

Thanks for the comment but you have the wrong campground, nothing is with in walking distance of here. The only thing behind this campground is a hay field.

Nice roomy site, easy access. Campground is in a more rural setting so it was nice and quite at night. Staff was friendly and helpful

Pluses: Pool open, free mini-golf, flat tent sites, and the folks who run it are wonderful. Minuses: NONE. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

The owners were literally so nice! Wanted to cater to our every need, and had friendly personalities. Our campsite was flat, clean, had everything you would need. Seemed very pet friendly and had a pool! The only disappointment was that you could not hammock.

Sorry about the hammock, but I love my trees and the rope would have knocked the bark off.

Nice place for a quiet weekend away. Plenty of spaces, though some of the sites are small. The electricity and water for the site next to us were in the middle of the “yard/fire ring/picnic” area of our site, which was awkward and made it difficult for our dogs.

That is the way the utilities were put in 60 years ago, can't move then now.

The KOA was what you expect at a KOA. Tight spaces but clean grounds. We needed extra time to change a part on our bus and Jim was accommodating but unfriendly. Made a huge point of telling us to beware of a tree branch, there was a worse branch on the incoming side. I love having shade but a simple trim would cure the concern and leave the trees in tact with shade to spare.

I don't know where you got the unfriendly, I told you to take all the time you needed to get your part,and even let you work on it in the park. I told you about the branches because of the size of your rig, not knowing if you could handle driving it into the site.

It was in a good location for us traveling on I-90. Check in was smooth and easy and the gentleman who gave us our site was more than helpful. I appreciated the excellent wi-fi connection. We didn't really use the other facilities because we are self contained. We would stop here again if we come this way in the future.

Avery nice campground. Would definately stay there again, but make sure to get a sewer connection. We did not know there were only a limited number of sites with sewer.

Nice place to overnight. Horn of the corn palace! We called about a limb scratching on the top of coach. They immediately came over and cut it!

The campground is very nice. Large dog park and plenty of green space to walk our dog. Our site wasn't the best. It was not level at all. All of the sites are very close to each other but manageable. The sewer hookups are close to your neighbor. The staff is very nice. They also guided us to our site. If we are going through Mitchell again in the future, we would still stay here.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
