Very helpful and friendly staff. We were ushered to our site. Pool is huge for this size campground. Bathrooms were clean, very nicely decorated. They had a sink area outside the bathhouse for tent campers to do dishes! Small camp store. Easy to maneuver dump station. Graveled and Level sites made our set up easy and fast. 1 down is sites are small but you can get awning out and have grass.

The owners/hosts were great! The grounds are the prettiest we’ve seen with all the huge trees. We had an extended stay and our site was awesome! Loved it there!

Wonderful night stay while traveling out west. Attendants were friendly and informative. We were very pleased with the super clean and modern restrooms and showers. Perfect pull through site, made it easy to come and go. Will definitely stop in on future travels.

Staff was terrific very warm and accommodating this is a better KOA than most however we paid for two nights and ended up staying in the city run campsite Mitchell Lake because the campsites at the KOA were too tight and I had neighborsOn top of me

We will stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. Location is just out of town in between fields. Campground store has the basics, some food etc. Staff are friendly and the bathrooms/showers are clean. The sites are close together but we weren’t there except to get in a swim, explore the town a bit (Cabelas and the Corn Palace), and sleep before continuing on to our primary destination.

The stay was OK but as I was unhooking the water to my camper I noticed a tag that was attached to the hose bib I was at B7. The labor said not intended for potable water. I reported it to the attendant and he just tore the tag off and said it was a new valve. No spookily nor do I think it will get fixed. Potentially an unsafe condition I have a picture of the tag if you would like it

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The tag says California not to use because of the metal, we don't care what cali thinks that faucet is used in 1000 of homes.

Staff was friendly. They took us directly to our site. Site was a little small. I didn’t hook up our sewer because it was just a couple of inches from the next campers rug. Only stayed 1 night so it wasn’t a problem.

We always stay at Mitchell KOA. Very friendly staff. Grounds always spotless. Trees always trimmed. A+++++++++++++. Pat and Cecil Noel.

Very Quiet campground off the expressway but close to stores and restaurants. Clean bathrooms and nice showers. My dog loved the dog park. Only downside was small spots which wasn't a big deal for us but if your were having a fire you are only a few feet from the person next to you vehicle.

Nice quiet campground. We were pulling a trailer so we reserved a pull through site to accommodate the length so we didn’t need to unhook. Very pleased with campground.

Sites were spaced far enough apart to allow some privacy while sitting at picnic tables. Overall, pleasant area and a short distance from town and Walmart for anything you might have forgotten.

It is a beautiful campground. Perfectly maintained, nice shady spots and the bathrooms are spectacular. Talavera sinks with matching mirrors. Absolutely incredible!

Love this campground! They escort you to your site, the entire grounds including all buildings are immaculate, there are tons of storm shelters positioned so they are very near all campers. The kids favorite! Free mini golf, playground and cheap funcycles to rent.

Rolled in yesterday. Got a large pull thru site. Beautiful campgrounds! Well kept, clean, leaves are changing. Several tornado shelters around camp. Met some other people here pheasant hunting too. Large wind turbine and it never stops! So yes it's always windy here. They even have a Tesla charger for electric vehicles!
