Great time! Cabin was perfect and clean. Easy and close access to alligator marina.

This is by far the worst KOA Campground we ever stayed at. Everything is old, outdated rusty and in disrepair. The pool area is dangerous with open holes in both the side and bottom. Potholes throughout the area make it almost un-drivable. No security on weeknights, visible garbage being thrown into the woods form the campground staff. This site should be banned from using the KOA name.

We are a receipt of KOA's 2018 Presidents Award. Due to vandalism our pool have plaster that was picked off. We are in the process of using under plaster to fix the damage. We have two work camper host that live on the property and provide nightly security. Please continue to camp KOA.

The campground itself was fine. The site we had could have been a little more level. We were not given a map of the local area so we didn't wander far. It is in a rural setting and it was a quite a ways off the highway. The exit out of the campground was tricky to turn right because of a ditch/drop off.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Our campsite was spacious but we felt like we were down in a bowl. The lakeview is limited but there isn't anything they can do about that. This campground is good for families that want to be near the lake...it has a pool and game room. Neat and clean.

The bathrooms were just a little dirtier than I like. I’ve been at KOA’s where they were cleaner, but for camping I have to remember to not expect much! Everything is so spaced out you don’t feel like there’s a whole lot of people, which I like. I also loved how close the campground was to the Alligator II Marina for boat renting for our day on Lake Cumberland!! I’d come back to this KO

Our camping experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. They escorted us to the site and assisted us in our setup. We would like to give David and the gentleman that helped with our setup, cable issue and water issue encountered. They helped us correct the problem thus making it a great visit. We did not realize there was a KOA in Russell Springs, Ky. We will be back.

If you don't have a boat I am not sure why you would stay here. All trails/lake cumberland,restaurants,stores are over an hour away. The staff was friendly but the site was very rustic. We have stayed at KOA'S before with big screen tv's in the bathrooms, this was a far fall from that. The sites were very small, all gravel so the kids had a hard time riding bikes and the amenities were very old.

Indian Hills KOA is on beautiful Lake Cumberland, one of the largest lakes East of the Mississippi, and a hugh draw for boaters and fisherman.

The workers who ride around on carts help you like no other. Great place to stay the owners are very nice and most of all everything was very clean. Very nice place and also people are nice to very polite. I Will be back again very soon and hopefully will bring more family members with me.

The campground site is well set up considering the hilliness of the area. We made last minute reservations so we didn't get an ideal spot. In the future we would specifically reserve a specific site, RV is 35 ft plus a tow trailer with a vehicle. It was difficult to level the RV front to back and side to side. .

Our larger pull though sites, some with patios, are the first to be rented. For your next visit call early to reserve one of these sites.

We stay here a couple times a year.We travel down from Ohio. We always stay down over the hill in the pull thur. We had one of the new cement pads this time with the furniture. It was real nice.They need to add more of them.Down in that area can get muddy and messie when it rains.The cement keeps you dry and out of the mud.The staff is always very friendly and helpfull.

Staff were very friendly and helpful ... Main area of the Park was clean .... To many permanent campers with dirty sites, almost looks like a trailer park pulling in. Pool is in need of maintenance very bad . Not on my favorite list of camp grounds and we will probably not be back.

The place is great other than Mother Nature ruined our staying that we can’t do much during our 2 days staying, we decide to check out early because of the weather.. we was staying in tent and we had no where to go except stayed in Recreation room and waiting

We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and the air conditioning worked great! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I met a few other guests during my stay and they were friendly. I can't wait to come back soon.

Overall a good place to stay. camp ground itself was good. However, men's bathroom by the office was one of the worst I have seen. The toilets where disgusting and it was early in the morning. I know most of it has to do with the type of people that would make that kind of mess but maybe need to check them more often.

Nice! The kids loved it too. Playground was a little outdated, and putt putt needed some TLC but the kids didn’t care!!!! Overall fun trip!

It was great. Could offer cable to your campers at night or when it's raining so they can have something today. Internet sucks you all need to upgrade or something

Cabin was exactly what we needed. It could have used a sweeping before we check in, but other then that area was great. Quite area and friendly staff made the stay great.

I learned a lot about Indian Hills camp ground. I learned that if you have a boat slip at the dock you have access to the campground last year I paid $3,600 for a boat slip and no one ever told me this. I also learned that if you have a boat slip you could use the beach from KOA which no one ever told me. This is very upsetting to me.

The location of the sites for motorhomes like ours, 38 ft, was down a steep grade and required a upward steep grade to exit the site. The roads were very narrow. The sites were better suited for pull along campers instead of large motorhomes. The sites at the top of the hill by the office are better suited for RV's like ours.

We are sorry your site did not meet your expectations. The sites by the store only accomodate up to a 32 foot camper therefore you were plced on the larger site. We hop you continue to camp KOA.

Staff was and has always been very kind and helpful. They come by the camp site to see if you need anything and are all set up. Wonderful camp sites, clean and neat. Shower stalls are well kept as well.

Nice campground but old not like I am use to most get your trash being your ice an wood when u buy it I was I. Gatlinburg koa night an day I think they cater to the ones that stay there year round

0818, 19May18 Current advertising literature and site map lead you to believe that this campground is right on the shore of the lake. It isn't - the lake is about one mile away. For those who want to fish, this will probably be great. For those who want to do other things, this location is not close to anything else. The ladies working the desk were awesome.

It is definitely not for kids! The playground was really in a bad state!! The slide( only one) was so rusted the kids couldn’t even slide on it! The put put course that you advertise is falling apart!!! The whole park is in need of serious maintenance and upgrade

My wife and kids had a great time! Everyone was very kind and helpful. They took me to the campsite so I could see were to go and how to get there. Then it was raining and they have us a ride back to are camper so we wouldn't get wet and after the rain died down they brought are fire wood to us. I have never had a better experience camping then at this campground thanks and God bless.

We love this campground! Owners are friendly and fair to all guests. Quiet and set back away from noises. Our kids love the open play areas. A big plus is the annual bluegrass festival In August. As an older campground, there are improvements that the owners are making annually. Know that there are narrower roads, but the A loop (I think) for overnights are open and all have concrete pads for outdoor living. We use grocery delivery bc Kroger is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is also about 10 minutes away and there is some good local country kitchen food. If you boat/fish, this is the perfect location and one of the only campgrounds close to a marina. Two launches within approximately 1.5 miles! We've recommended this to so many people, and not a one has been disappointed. Some have brought campers, others have stayed in cabins. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted to quick weekend get away to unwind. 5 Stars for the staff, the campground, and location. I was very impressed by how helpful and responsive the office staff was to any question or issue my wife or I had. Outstanding customer service.! The RV site was clean, level, and shaded. The bathrooms and office area was very clean and organized. Would highly recommend this location for any camper, RV, Trailer, or tent! Make sure to find the "Rock House", it is hard to find, but worth the effort. If you need to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Wells store has the best hamburgers and chicken wings. Highly recommend.
