Location was nice and relevant to the lake. Staff very friendly. I would recommend updating electrical outlets on the tents site, some are corroded or infested with nests. Other than that, it was a nice stay

There were alot of open places we could hav gone and the place we ended up was sub standard w a pop up. The first night I took a shower and did not drain. I was standing in water and who knows what else upnto my ankles. The wifi was a joke. Will not go again.

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and inviting. My campsite was comfortable and a reasonable distance from the bathrooms and showers. I stayed for one night. But would not have been opposed to staying another if circumstances would've allowed.

We had such a great time tent camping. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The pool area was very nice. We enjoyed walking our dog around the property. We will definitely come back!!

The campground was extremely clean. Our site looked like we were the first to camp there. The staff was unbelievably friendly. I have never been to a campground like this before! If i could rate a 10 I would.

Prices for extra tent was not communicated well. Only have one bathroom facility at the office making showering an issue with wait time. No one picked up our trash in the morning like the other KOA camps have. Our water was restored to the site a few hours after we got there.

Thank you for camping with us a Russell Springs KOA. Our listing on koa.com states that the price is for one camping unit with extra charge for additional tents, unless they are dependent children. I'm sorry the extra tent charge was not communicated with you.

The BLuegrass Festival is all about the great music provided by the award winning bands. It is an independent event and one of the highlights for our campers.

Very nice quiet park. The people that checked us in and out were very pleasant. The bathroom facilities were clean. We stayed in a tent and I just wish the bathrooms were a bit closer to the tent area.

We had the best time the campground is in the perfect location to see all the attractions around Lake Cumberland. The facilities were clean and well kept everyone was friendly.

We had a large group. Staff was great. Very friendly. Enjoyed our time. Only wish bathrooms/showers could be newer. They did a good job cleaning it twice daily. Grounds was well kept. Very accommodating with our boats, and large group.

The workers who ride around on carts help you like no other. Great place to stay the owners are very nice and most of all everything was very clean. Very nice place and also people are nice to very polite. I Will be back again very soon and hopefully will bring more family members with me.

The place is great other than Mother Nature ruined our staying that we can’t do much during our 2 days staying, we decide to check out early because of the weather.. we was staying in tent and we had no where to go except stayed in Recreation room and waiting

I learned a lot about Indian Hills camp ground. I learned that if you have a boat slip at the dock you have access to the campground last year I paid $3,600 for a boat slip and no one ever told me this. I also learned that if you have a boat slip you could use the beach from KOA which no one ever told me. This is very upsetting to me.

Largely exceeded my expectations. Tent sites are indeed secluded and quiet, the site was clean and level, nice mix of shade and sun, and the location is wonderful overall. The restrooms and showers were also very clean. Last but not the least, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will warmly recommend the Russell Springs location to other members of my club.

The campground was nice, but there wasn't much around the camp ground to do. The workers were all pleasant and the grounds are well kept. For my first KOA campground, I'm satisfied. I expected the campground to connect to lake Cumberland, possibly with a beach front, and was disappointmented to find this wasn't the case.

We didn't stay long due to arriving late and leaving very early, so can't speak to much in the area. But our welcome was absolutely wonderful despite it being late (around 11:00)--super pleasant, engaging, informative, neighborly. Our tent site was spacious, flat, soft. Bathrooms were clean and a good size. All around wonderful experience if short.

We had quite an eventful stay in May, a group of very young adults wanted to party all night with obscene music and behavior- and us with 4 young children.. But I was relieved when the man in yellow came, remaining professional despite their drunken threats. The next night we had a terrible storm but the men in yellow quickly took care of the downed trees and made sure we were alright.

When I booked on the website, it gave me a price for 4 people for two nights. When I arrive, they tell me it's an EXTRA $20/tent after one tent. We're already paying an extra fee per person, but an extra TENT charge? Unreal. At least put that estimate on the website so we can account for that ahead of time. Sites are extremely close together, no privacy at all for tent camping.

Worst employees/ owners ever. Got mouthed off to by the owner who also got in my boyfriends face after we turned our music down for them, they were rude and made us leave on Memorial Day weekend at almost 11 at night! Ridiculous! NEVER GOING BACK. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

This was my first stay at a KOA. From start to finish it was a great experience. Staff helped me make a reservation just right for my group's special needs. The restroom facilities were clean and adequate. The camp store was well-stocked and the staff were very friendly. Proximity to Lake Cumberland will certainly bring us back to this KOA.

This is a larger KOA but seems more intimate because of the setting. Some of the facilities are older and in need of some repair (bathroom stall locks?) but the people make up for any deficiencies in the camp! One of the best.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean and peaceful. Great location! I love that they have a shuttle to and from the marina and beach area.Tent area is very spaceous. I love this KOA!

We love this campground! Owners are friendly and fair to all guests. Quiet and set back away from noises. Our kids love the open play areas. A big plus is the annual bluegrass festival In August. As an older campground, there are improvements that the owners are making annually. Know that there are narrower roads, but the A loop (I think) for overnights are open and all have concrete pads for outdoor living. We use grocery delivery bc Kroger is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is also about 10 minutes away and there is some good local country kitchen food. If you boat/fish, this is the perfect location and one of the only campgrounds close to a marina. Two launches within approximately 1.5 miles! We've recommended this to so many people, and not a one has been disappointed. Some have brought campers, others have stayed in cabins. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted to quick weekend get away to unwind. 5 Stars for the staff, the campground, and location. I was very impressed by how helpful and responsive the office staff was to any question or issue my wife or I had. Outstanding customer service.! The RV site was clean, level, and shaded. The bathrooms and office area was very clean and organized. Would highly recommend this location for any camper, RV, Trailer, or tent! Make sure to find the "Rock House", it is hard to find, but worth the effort. If you need to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Wells store has the best hamburgers and chicken wings. Highly recommend.
