Good full service hookup however arrived early which thought was almost 1 but they are right on the central time zone I would put a disclaimer on their main page about the time difference. However they did accommodate us and gave us a great spot!

Russell Springs KOA is on central time. The Eastern time zone is the next county. I'm glad we count accommodate you.

We are glad to get anything out of the store you wish as our store is curb side service. Unfortunately with a small staff and quarantine a possibility, the risk to our operation and customer service made business as usual not possible at this time.

Staff were really friendly but the sites were very tight - we have a 40 foot motorhome with four slideouts so it was tight for a larger rig. It is just minutes (maybe 2) away from the Lake Cumberland Marina (f/k/a Alligator II Marina) so that makes it a perfect place to stay to boat all day and the marina has tons of slips to rent to keep your boat in the water.

The site was a little muddy due to rain. Some gravel would help to keep things dry. Pool was clean. Location is a mile from Cumberland which is nice.

Would have given it a 5 star if the bathrooms were more updated and there was a dump station.

Location is best thing about this koa. 5 minutes to marina. I have been going to this koa for years and the present owners have made improvements. The pool is much nicer than it used to be. Cable tv and wifi are excellent. The sites are still small. They have improved the grading of sites. Last time i was there it rained the whole time but wasnt too muddy. You are in Ky so neighbors are loud.

Check-in was smooth, escort to lead us to our site. The staff we encountered was nice/courteous. Campground was quiet, we originally booked here because of the bluegrass festival and due to covid-19 it was cancelled. We decided to camp anyway. The other sites next to ours had a concrete patio, ours didn't, not a deal breaker. Would like to know how to request online a specific spot.

The camping cabin we stayed in was super cute! It looks small from the outside but is quite spacious on the inside, especially with the vaulted ceiling. Our cabin was clean and smelled nice. We had a great time!

We were being harassed by the security guard on Saturday night. It was not even 10pm and we were being yelled at for being loud. We sitting around the fire talking with the radio on LOW. You could not hear it over normal conversation. Every 20 mins he drove past our site saying something. If we were out of control we would own it. Not the case here not coming back!

The KOA brand is committed to a family camping experience. When other camper's rights to a quiet evening are encroached upon, we are quick to respond to the complaint.

Thought the campground was by a lake. It's located on bluffs by the lake, but you can't even see the lake. The location is not very attractive and was over priced. We had scheduled to be there at a Bluegrass festival on site, the pricing seemed appropriate for that. With the pandemic, the festival was cancelled, but the pricing was not adjusted down. I feel it should have been half what we paid.

The Bluegrass Festival is always a popular event at Russell Springs KOA. With the its cancellation, customers were charged our regular weekend rate not the special event rate.

We stayed in D5. The cabin itself was perfect! However, whoever the guy is that you all have on ground and stays there was VERY rude and targeted our group of people. We understand the "10 o'clock" quiet time, but he was most definitely a "stalker" and was 100% targeting us by continuously driving around us. There were 0 complaints that we were being "loud." But we WILL NOT be staying here again.

Quiet time and appropriate camper etiquette are something the KOA brand is committed to. Unfortunately when a large group of campers congregate on one site, noise can be an unintended consequence which infringes on other camper's experience.

I was very impressed with the campsites with concrete pads beside the rv. Nice tables, chairs, fire pit and even a great barbecue grill. Quiet and easy access.

Our site needed mowed,the cable was not very good as it continued to go out,permanent sites were not kept up,one permanent site had an old refrigerator laying out upside down. People we were with were put far away from us,in between a group together and had people walking in their sites all weekend. We felt the park was not kept up very well.

Need to get your. WiFi up to specs. Don’t give me a password for some thing that doesn’t work. Need living essentials ( ie, paper towels, plates and silver ware. Other than that a great stay with a great cabin-thanks

My husband and Myself had a long weekend with 4 grandchildren, everyone had a great time cabin was very nice, beds are comfortable staff are very friendly. We had several campers ask if we were the check in point because the cabin was at the entrance. We didn't mind called ourselves KOA greeters. We will diffantly be back in the future.

The campground was extremely clean. Our site looked like we were the first to camp there. The staff was unbelievably friendly. I have never been to a campground like this before! If i could rate a 10 I would.

park was nice but mostly shut down due to Corona virus. Hard to give a review at this time, but would stay there again. Easy access to Lake Cumberland

It was really nice and quiet. Liked that it's close to the marina. Our cabin was the perfect size and price, very clean and a super easy transaction.

Extremely friendly staff. When my son didn't come down with the car we were stuck with no way to get to the marina for our rental. The staff dropped us off and picked us up. Saved our trip!

Deluxe cabin was new and nice. The only thing that didn’t work was the outside electrical outlets. With no cooking in the unit and outside outlets not working, we had to run extension cords from inside to outdoors to use cooking appliances. The seasonal sites are run down and there was random junk yard like trash laying on empty spaces. Also, sights are very tight and neighbors too close.

Very quiet and peaceful. The pull through full hook up sites with the patio chairs and grill was really nice. Plenty of room, staff was very helpful and an overall great experience.

Nice Park. Really like Covid restrictions.. these folks take it seriously. Very nice pool... good spots on lower levels.. other areas a bit tight... skiinny roads but passable... all good.. we'll be back !

Everything was good. The staff was friendly, professional and go out of their way to get you what you need. I was a bit anxious about going out in public. I felt campground was safest. Your KOA takes all the precautions and enforces all safety measures. Of any business I have had to enter this KOA was by far the most noticeable about their safety measures fighting this virus. Kudos! Coming back!

We love this campground! Owners are friendly and fair to all guests. Quiet and set back away from noises. Our kids love the open play areas. A big plus is the annual bluegrass festival In August. As an older campground, there are improvements that the owners are making annually. Know that there are narrower roads, but the A loop (I think) for overnights are open and all have concrete pads for outdoor living. We use grocery delivery bc Kroger is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is also about 10 minutes away and there is some good local country kitchen food. If you boat/fish, this is the perfect location and one of the only campgrounds close to a marina. Two launches within approximately 1.5 miles! We've recommended this to so many people, and not a one has been disappointed. Some have brought campers, others have stayed in cabins. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted to quick weekend get away to unwind. 5 Stars for the staff, the campground, and location. I was very impressed by how helpful and responsive the office staff was to any question or issue my wife or I had. Outstanding customer service.! The RV site was clean, level, and shaded. The bathrooms and office area was very clean and organized. Would highly recommend this location for any camper, RV, Trailer, or tent! Make sure to find the "Rock House", it is hard to find, but worth the effort. If you need to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Wells store has the best hamburgers and chicken wings. Highly recommend.
