Our stay was wonderful, we really enjoyed the campground, VERY clean and courteous. There was a man camping that was very loud, and drinking, that was using some profanity that was used in front of our children. My kids were absolutely terrified.

This is our second visit. Check in is always quick, efficient & very welcoming. Staff is a pleasure. During Covid-19 their procedures were well conveyed to their campers & their check-in brochure gave you all the information you needed in one place. We will be back. Thank you! �

I was very impressed with the staff arriving soon after campers left to disinfect chairs and tables. The pool was very clean and it was easy to distance.

The only reason I gave KOA of Russel Springs a 8 is because there really isn't much to do around the camp ground. We had to drive at least 40-60 min to do anything. But we loved our stay the cabin was great and the workers were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay

We are located on beautiful Lake Cumberland with over 1,000 miles of shoreline to explore. This is one of the largest lakes east of the Mississippi.

They do not do military discounts. I gave 3 stars because they were full and accommodated us. Place is clean but old. Sites are very small. They are overlooking the lake but only in the fall and winter, if tall you can get a glimpse of the lake. There is construction material in empty sites towards the back of the campground near the "overlook". Lake only good for boaters, no beach.

The water was off on Friday for a quick repair they said that took two hours. Then Friday evening it was off again without notification. I called the desk and overheard the lady talking to someone and he stated, yes it is off again, I am trying to get it fixed. Very unprofessional! Other than that it is a decent campground.

We are so sorry you experienced water interruptions during your stay with us. Occasionally during a season water spigots break down in the ground and it takes time to ensure they are fixed and the repair holds.

Nice clean campground. Very nice people running campground. Campsites need to be further apart than where we were. We felt like we were sitting on each other

Very clean. Wifi needs improvement in the lower lot. Would like to see less permanent campers allowing for more available sites to weekend campers.

Owners very nice. They checked with us daily to see if we needed anything. Sites were nice and clean. Will stay again.

First to stay in new cabin. No hot water until the second night. No cooking utensils or silverware. No bread in date at the store. But, the cabin was beautiful

We had a wonderful time at the campground. Owners and staff were amazing and extremely helpful. It would have been even better if COVID-19 hadn’t forced a shut down of all the amenities. Still a great time and very relaxing.

Fire pits are way to close to camper spots on sites, booked and was told we have a premiere spot and received a basic gravel spot with a unuseable fire pit.

The lady that answered the phone was super nice. Very friendly staff and observed the social distancing rules. They brought us ice from the store to our camp site. When we arrived they had paperwork ready and handed to us through our window and showed us to our campsite. We liked section A.

The owner was helpful in providing a portable fire ring so that we could put it in a more convenient spot for our site location and it was quiet, not on HWY. On the negative it appeared as if 80% of the campground was either permanent/seasonal so the campsites were not very attractive; big storage bins and other clutter surrounding the RV/travel trailers. Very little live "green" space per site.

Very friendly owners. Only reason that this isn’t a 5 is because we couldn’t judge the showers or restrooms which were closed due to Covid 19 protocols mandated by the state. We are staying here again next week!

Very nice sites. Owners did the best they could considering the restrictions placed on them during Covid-19. We were happy to have a place to camp. We already have reservations for June. That will make our 4th time staying there.

Accommodations OK. Owners are good people. Campground is more of a lake oriented resort. Nowhere near "easy on easy off". Miles of curvy rural roads to Interstate. Not recommended for big rigs.

We love this campground! Owners are friendly and fair to all guests. Quiet and set back away from noises. Our kids love the open play areas. A big plus is the annual bluegrass festival In August. As an older campground, there are improvements that the owners are making annually. Know that there are narrower roads, but the A loop (I think) for overnights are open and all have concrete pads for outdoor living. We use grocery delivery bc Kroger is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is also about 10 minutes away and there is some good local country kitchen food. If you boat/fish, this is the perfect location and one of the only campgrounds close to a marina. Two launches within approximately 1.5 miles! We've recommended this to so many people, and not a one has been disappointed. Some have brought campers, others have stayed in cabins. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted to quick weekend get away to unwind. 5 Stars for the staff, the campground, and location. I was very impressed by how helpful and responsive the office staff was to any question or issue my wife or I had. Outstanding customer service.! The RV site was clean, level, and shaded. The bathrooms and office area was very clean and organized. Would highly recommend this location for any camper, RV, Trailer, or tent! Make sure to find the "Rock House", it is hard to find, but worth the effort. If you need to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Wells store has the best hamburgers and chicken wings. Highly recommend.
