Stayed in Amish-built camping cabin: very satisfied. The cabin is quaint and conducive to the “feels like” camping experience. The bath house is close, is clean.

It's your typical campground. It was clean, but nothing extra. I would stay there again because it's close to the lake.

Stayed over the 4th of July and was a little disappointed that when i asked two separate staff members about seeing fireworks they could't tell me a place to go. As I am not from the area i had no idea where to go, what the shows would be like, or even when shows were. I would have like to have seen something posting something for people coming from out of town that gave this info.

Nice workers. Bathrooms could use an update. Pretty quiet campground and our camping cabin was unique. We had fun.

It was absolutely wonderful! Needed the peace and serenity...and relaxation! The Kamping Kabin was awesome! We will return!

Great time! Cabin was perfect and clean. Easy and close access to alligator marina.

We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and the air conditioning worked great! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I met a few other guests during my stay and they were friendly. I can't wait to come back soon.

Cabin was exactly what we needed. It could have used a sweeping before we check in, but other then that area was great. Quite area and friendly staff made the stay great.

We had a beautiful wedding at the Russell county koa the staff are so friendly ty e place is so clean and beautiful it was the perfect place to was. Agin a big thank you to all the staff that wen5 above and beyond to help

We had rented two cabins, and they were so nice! They were clean and had air conditioners!!!! The part that made this camp site so nice was that the owners were nice! They liked to talk to you and make sure you enjoy your time. I would definitely come back to stay.

Staff was friendly. But the restroom where a ridiculous distance from cabin and tent sites.

The non-refundable pet fee was half as much as the cabin we stayed in. The cabin was full of cobwebs, and dirty. The grounds around the front door was full of cigarette butts and a couple of beer cans. This particular KOA is disgusting.

The campground was great.The staff was very friendly great swimming pool and game room is a nice touch but some of the games in game room was broken and needed repair. I like having laundry facilities on-site how ever the dryer was not up to participate it would not dry towels. The bath house was very clean and was not filled with bugs and wasps like other campgrounds you can tell they kept it up

We love KOA. Great value for the money. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our primitive camping cabin with the air conditioner was a blessing on the 90° plus days.

I was very unhappy due to the people in the camper next to us was very loud, they were shooting off fireworks and they parked their truck in the spot we were suppose to. I will never be back to that KOA ever.

We strive to provide the best camping experience possible and work quickly to correct problems. Unfortunately were never made aware there was a problem with noise or fireworks at your site which was directly across from the store.

Stayed in cabin...it was very buggy with webs and bugs everywhere. A little TLC would go a long way. Bottom of door was dry rotted and big gap. Large wasp nest next to door lock. The lock did not work most of the time and even requested another key. The pool was filthy with mokd in sides and lots of floating hair. This place was probably nice 20 yrs ago but really needs some money put in it.

Cabin was clean, restroom was clean, campground was clean. The campground was very dark at night, needed more street lights and there were no other campers on sight making it a very odd. Needed an emergency phone number posted with nobody on site. Was thankful that I had personal protection handy and was only staying one night.

We are sorry your stay was uncomfortable, we do have security from Alligator II making rounds around campground nightly and also resident camper who lives on site year round across from camp store. We also have emergency numbers posted on front and back of store and also by pool with phone.

The cabin that I rented for the night was adequate accommodations, however the door was hard to open/close and the structure itself was un-level. The pool was nice and the grounds fairly well kept. No direct access to the lake from the grounds.

We love this campground! Owners are friendly and fair to all guests. Quiet and set back away from noises. Our kids love the open play areas. A big plus is the annual bluegrass festival In August. As an older campground, there are improvements that the owners are making annually. Know that there are narrower roads, but the A loop (I think) for overnights are open and all have concrete pads for outdoor living. We use grocery delivery bc Kroger is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is also about 10 minutes away and there is some good local country kitchen food. If you boat/fish, this is the perfect location and one of the only campgrounds close to a marina. Two launches within approximately 1.5 miles! We've recommended this to so many people, and not a one has been disappointed. Some have brought campers, others have stayed in cabins. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted to quick weekend get away to unwind. 5 Stars for the staff, the campground, and location. I was very impressed by how helpful and responsive the office staff was to any question or issue my wife or I had. Outstanding customer service.! The RV site was clean, level, and shaded. The bathrooms and office area was very clean and organized. Would highly recommend this location for any camper, RV, Trailer, or tent! Make sure to find the "Rock House", it is hard to find, but worth the effort. If you need to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Wells store has the best hamburgers and chicken wings. Highly recommend.
