Meet Your Hosts

The Rohde Family

We want to exceed our Guest's expectations.

Sterling and Carol Rohde are proud to welcome you to the San Antonio/Alamo KOA—a campground with deep roots, originally built in 1968 by Sterling's father and uncle along the scenic Salado Creek in time for HemisFair '68.  Since taking the reins in 2004, Sterling and Carol have focused on continuous improvements that reflect the needs and feedback of their guests—turning a great campground into a truly exceptional one. Today, they continue to oversee operations and guide the vision of the park, while General Manager Jeff Clark leads the day-to-day with professionalism, heart, and hospitality. Come stay with us and see why generations of guests return year after year.
