This KOA was awesome. Super clean and roomy. The sites were perfect. And all the cute little cabins we saw so cute.

We loved everything about our stay except that we got a cabin next to the water pump which was always running and was an inconvenient noise considering there were so many other cabins available. We were waiting to do the fun train for over 30 minutes and then had to go to the office and ask about it and then waited another 15 minutes before the train showed up.

The location is good, the setting and cabins are ready beautifully. The services and info leaves a lot to be desirable. After booking the cabin and asking if it had a refrigerator and a microwave and told yes! We arrived late in the day after a long ride to find out. That the cabin did not even had bedding, no sheets, pillows or blankets. Horrible experience

We stayed just one night in one of the airstreams. Very nice. We were tempted to stay another night but needed to get back. I'm alreay talking to the rest on my family about doing a family camp there next year.

Clean and organized KOA. One star off because check in clerk was not wearing a mask, which is the law.

We had 3 sites, RV, Airstream and Deluxe Cabin. Everything was nice except we were surprised the Airstream was a little beat up inside, the door was hard to open and the exterior needs to be washed. The windows were covered with dirt.

This was our first stay at KOA, and we're hoping now to make it an annual tradition for Halloween month.. it was really fun, there were three households in our family there to celebrate from age 1 up to 60+ and we all had a great time!

I’ve been going to the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA since the late 80’s the last time was in 2010 until now. What an improvement over a KOA I already enjoyed. It is a fabulous place for families. All the staff were wonderful. And their Halloween event for all of October is absolutely amazing. GREAT JOB KOA. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay...just what we needed: little bit of a getaway, a lot of outdoor fun with the kids. Loved the Halloween events throughout the weekend. We had a great time decorating our cabin!

You need to adhere to the 10 o’clock quiet hours. Also, we arrived at 1:45 and checked in. We had to wait until 3:20 to get into our cabin. We sat at tent #1 since we had that space as well as cabin 184 and tent space 2 and waited. Not one person came to cabin 184 during those 1,5 hours to do anything, therefore why couldn’t we have been able to get into cabin 184 when we arrived.

Not great this time. There were at least 4 empty back in playground sites during our stay - even though we were told prior to our arrival they were all booked. Multiple campers walking by were quite upset as well. The site we chose and paid extra for was one of the only ones w/o a concrete pad/pavers even though it’s listed as a standard patio. so disappointed.

RV spaces were not too tight, they were clean and well kept with nice seating areas. Facilities were clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Great for kids with a wonderful play area and holiday activities. Only drawback were the shower stalls were small. Great overall.

We always have an amazing stay at KOA. So happy to stay holloween weekend been trying for 3 years. Great job new GM. Clean and friendly as always!!

It’s a great campground with lots of activities for kids. Campground and facilities were clean. Great setup with the playground next to the campsite! Pool party was great! A big plus is that the campground is dog friendly. The staff was helpful and friendly! We love this KOA! Thank you!

Was not able to use the spa area after surfing in the evening, a primary reason why we wanted to stay there. Out neighbor left a dog in their cabin, which barked for 3 hours. Definitely not worth the money paid, wish I could have a refund, and would not recommend a friend to stay. Far overpriced for the services received and very disappointed.

I’ve been to several KOAs over the years in different states and Santa Cruz is hands down the most organized and nicest one I’ve ever been to. It also seems to attract the best people that stay there. It was an actual community like being at home.

We had a one-night, spur-of-the-moment camping trip with two of our grandsons last weekend. (We live less than 15 minutes away from the KOA!) We all had a BLAST, swimming, ping-ponging, Blobbing, looking at the fun Halloween decorations and costumed campers. The KOA Holiday is totally geared for amazing family fun and adventures. We will be taking our other grandkids at some point!

We were only able to stay five days but found the Santa Cruz Koa to be ideally located between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The campground is located close to several beaches. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely return!

It’s a very nice park with lots of room between sites. The setting is beautiful; we enjoyed it very much. Everything was clean and well-kept. We will be back!

Very peaceful! Staff at the store and the young man picking up the trash was very helpful! Clean and spacious spot for our 40’ 5th wheel. We will definitely be back when visiting the area. �

Overall we enjoyed our stay. They staff are very friendly and helpful. If I could make one suggestion it would be that housekeeping dust the window sills and sweep and mop the floors.

Of the five different places we stayed on this trip, Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA was by far our favorite!

Our favorite KOA for the central California coast. Sites are nicely arranged and clean. Easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey. Beaches and restaurants are close by. Staff are the best, pleasant and always friendly. I highly recommend. Thank You!

Deluxe cabin was newish, but the linens and mattress were subpar. We enjoyed our stay, but we wish the pool/spa was open later than 6pm. Btw, the pool has heated year around and it was ice cold. Grounds were nice, clean and had lots of family activities.

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
