Overall, we love this place! Most of the staff is friendly and helpful.. Unfortunately, the last 2 visits we had some very UNFRIENDLY younger people (thin guy in a beanie who delivered firewood and picked up trash didn't even speak back when we would say hello and shorter young girl with long eyelashes in store was never friendly.) Coffee super weak. We love the cleanliness and atmosphere though.

Fred (manager?)at the front desk was not very nice when I needed help adjusting my reservation. Extremely rude and unprofessional. We also ended up canceling my reservation in October bc of this and may not return again after coming there for 12 years. I Never met someone so angry and uncaring who obviously doesn’t like there job. He should not be in customer service.

Very well maintained and laid out campground. Sites were good sized and in great shape. Customer service in the office was fantastic! We will definitely return!

Clean park & well stocked store. Daily trash pickup was nice. It would have been a better rating, but, when I called the store (easily 10-12 times) to ask if I could get firewood, I got an answer one time...I don't know if the person who said yes, thought the conversation was over, but she hung up. I had to stop a couple of maintenance guys if I could get firewood. They got me wood right away.

This park has so many amenities! We'd love to come back and make a family reunion their with the grandkids this time!

I've stayed at several different KOAs... this one was the best by far! I love the trash pick up service you have every morning. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it! All the staff were very helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved all of the amenities this KOA had to offer. This is the perfect campground for kids. We loved the jumping pillow, the park, and the pool. I would love to stay here again sometime!

Although the staff and campsites were excellent! Our family had several bikes stolen, total value of over $3000. The expense bike was strapped down, but broken with a blow torch. Which means this happens often! From what we heard, a number of other bikes have been stolen that night and other nights! Something needs to be done (other than the fine print on flyer, to notified families as such!

Great location for exploring the area of Monterey peninsula and Santa Cruz. Spacious camping site, and everyone is friendly. Bathrooms and showers were clean, but they do need trash cans in the bathrooms.

The parking is blind in cabin 126. Need to trim the bushes for safe exit.

The camp site was tight to back into. My husband and I have been towing for over 20 years. Never had trouble getting into a camp site before. But on a good note clean and well kept. Staff friendly.

Disappointed. My partner is disabled and not only did we not get an ADA cabin (which is illegal), we booked a cabin with a cooktop and we’re placed in one without. When I called the office I was told that she could not accommodate us! All week I walked by the vacant ADA cabin and several others that had the kitchen. Nothing like being lied to.

Staff was very friendly and text alerts were helpful. Some of the things in the cabin was broken or about to break, may need to upgrade some things like the pull out sofa (dips in the middle) toilet roll holder, bathroom hand grower holder, mini screen doors by the bunk bed. But overall had a great stay. All the recreation activities were perfect for kids.

Excellent staff. The park is well maintained with a great layout. Only comment is that I would like to see more paved sites.

It was a great weekend but there was some late night partying going on past the quiet time they were talking so loud and going on well past the quiet time

It was great as always! Though I must say it was even better than usual due to the concert you held with the band Fishhook. They were amazing! Hope they are back for Camp Cares weekend!

The site was too narrow to easily put up the awning to our tiny rig. Ore neighbors blasted music 3 feet from our rig for at least 5 hours nonstop. There were extensive plumbing issues...in our site and the nearby restroom. Those were responded to promptly when reported

Tried to take a shower twice in the bath house and the water was ice cold both times. Would have booked someplace else had I known we would get no shower. When I called to ask why there was no water the response was ‘oh sorry it’s out of hot water you should be getting a message about it. You have to use the other bathhouses. Sorry’ no message was ever received. Only go if you have a bathroo

We love coming here. The grounds and facilities are well maintained and clean. Our kids have so much to do here and that allows us parents to relax more.

I was here for the iron man santacruz. Nice to have a safe clean place to stay. I really wanted to buy a Santa cruz koa hat at the store but I forgot. So sad. Loved the text updates during our stay.

Very rude staff and management, ruined our entire overall experience of KOA. If you don't like being friendly when serving paying customers then you should not be in management or customer service. Not to mention the racisms and sexism that was appalling. After reading the other negative reviews on Yelp about the general manager Fred, I will not return until he is terminated.

The site across from me had a HUGE and NOISY party that went well past 10 pm. About 3 campsites converged into one site. There was such LOUD music, hooting and screaming. No way could you sit outside! Even inside my RV it was so noisy!! Called and texted security a total of 3 times. Finally they shut off their loud booming music but continue to have LOUD conversations well into the late night.

We enjoyed every moment. We were thankful that the cabin had everything we needed. Thr kids and my elderly mother really loved everything at KOA.

My $500 bike was stolen, and management has no plans to reduce thefts in the park. Sheriffs department said it’s been happening every weekend. Other parks had me sign theft notices at check in. Lack of security would not let me recommend this KOA location.

We had a wonderful time. My kiddo had the best time . There are many things to do at the Koa and we went to the beach daily .

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
