Campground is a great place but I lacking maintenance, the entrance to the campground is horrible on our departure ended up blowing a tire and bent our rim on our brand new trailer due to the massive potholes. For a KOA campground I was really disappointed that is litterly the first impression as you pull in is a road with massive holes it's really unsafe and is creating hazards for anyone enteri

It was great. The kids on staff were wonderful. The only complaint I have is the cost. It is awfully expensive.

The facilities are clean and the types of spaces available allow you to pick what kind of camping trip you are having. When our in-laws arrived and we realized we were far from them we were able to “upgrade” and move right next to them which made the trip even better. Thank you!

Deluxe cabin had mold in the shower. I know mold is very hard to clean and the space is very small. But to have a deluxe experience there should not be mold in the shower. The wall heater did little to take the chill off the cabin in the morning. The small pot was missing but the lid was there. I could’ve used the small pot. So not an actual deluxe experience.

I registered for a 42 ft 5th wheel. The first space assigned was too small. The second site had someone already in the space. We drove around and found a spot that worked since we were put on hold for over 15 min. They charged for both upgrades, costing $50 more than the original site, at about $175.00. Extremely poor customer service. Very flippant attitude, and no knowledge of RV’s.

Terrible cleaning service!! My Airstream had cobwebs in the curtains, broken glass in the window track, no curtains on the little windows in the kitchen.. I had to put a pillow up so nobody could see in, I could hang my clothes up because there were containers for the housekeeping people to use. Never would recommended this KOA!!

We LOVE this KOA and have been many many times and will be back. However, this trip our cabin was extremely dirty. The floors were very dirty and there were a lot of cobwebs inside and out. We were also surprised at how early the store closed in the evenings. The pool was great though and the facilities for our dog was great!

We rented two deluxe cabins. The staff was very kind to set us up next to each other. There was so much for our grandkids to do. We will definitely return.

Dog poop throughout our site. The road from Hwy 1 to the park is one of the worst I’ve travelled. WiFi super slow.

Very clean, organized, nice play areas for kids. Close to beaches, not in walking distance. Nice sites, they even have a few sites with fenced in areas for your dog. Would stay here again.

I would have gave a 5 star rating however there was no bathroom open near our glamping cabin and there was undisclosed construction at the bathroom in front of our 2 cabins. They worked until 9:30 on the bathroom, banging and sawing and throwing things into the back of the truck. Woke up my 7 month old baby and definitely took way from the ambiance an enjoying the fire pit and morning coffee.

We stayed in one of your one room cabins. They are very comfortable, and I noticed they are now equipped with a built in wall heater. We bring a commode so the cabin has everything we really need. The showers were very close.

Everything was superb. Clean and everything you need. Only down size was needed more people in office always long line and should stay open longer. Not Kos fault but neighbors were loud and messy left stuff all over street couldn't even drive down

The cabin was great. Had everything we needed to enjoy the evening after a long day of playing. We have stayed at other KOA locations in the past and the Santa Cruz location was our favorite. Hope to get the chance to schedule a trip back soon.

Absolutely beautiful! I had a wonderful time :) However, the heater in my room (Deluxe Cabin 1981, I think?) didn't work as strong. Also, the door was very hard to lock (so my door was unlocked the whole time). Other than those 2 issues, I loved this KOA spot!

Amazing!!! My kids absolutely loved it! The pool, the night movie, the bike trails,and the beautiful playground!!! Also close to Santa Cruz Boardwalk! We will be back in July!!!

Exceptional service! Excellent amenities! Kids had a great time with all of the activities, as well as the playground, jumping pillow, and more! Multiple dog parks made the stay even better for our K9 friends!

Our stay was great. So much for kids to do. Unfortunately we had loud neighbors but otherwise great place to stay. They say pool is heated but I’m not convinced.

Great campground for families. Pool was big and warm for the time of year. Lots to do for kids, free activities throughout the day, plus a big playground ect.

The stay was fantastic for a short trip over the weekend, with all that was offered and the large amount of activities for the kids to do on their own. We got lucky to have a site back up to the overly large playground which my kids had to be pried away from to eat. I will have to say though the noise and after hours was not enforced as strictly as the statements say.

I would have given a higher score but unfortunately while we were asleep he heard a crackle then took a hard hit to the floor. The bed broke. I called to let the front desk know was told they’d have to get with a manager. Then went to check out 2 hrs later & still no manager available & they’d call. We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
