Very clean and lots of activities for the children!! Close to several public and State beaches, Monterey and Santa Cruz! The on-site cabins were a plus as we didn’t have a RV Trailer. I will look into KOA camps in the future!

There was a strong sewage smell from bath room. However, the staff member is very friendly and helpful. They fix the 90% of problem promptly.

I was very happy with the our accommodations and stay. Please consider keeping the pool and store open longer hours for nights before a busy holiday.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very nice and fit 2 adults and 3 kids pretty well. Everything was very clean and well kept up. The ladies in the store were very nice and super helpful. We were there for a wedding so we did not have time to take advantage of all the amenities that they offered but my kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground. We would stay again for sure.

Deluxe cabin was expensive for just two people, but less expensive cabins were not desirable because they did not have bathrooms.

The stay was horrible! The place was filthy, had a 2 hour later than promised checkin, water was turned off, internet didn’t work, and the management was terribly rude!

Great as usual- ton of activities for the kids, staff very friendly and helpful. Restroom and showers were clean. Definitely recommend this campground.

Would have rated a 5 if we did not have an issue at check our cabin wasn’t ready at 4pm and we had to wait over an hour with 2 young kids. It’s December and dark and cold. Not cool. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay. Very clean KOA.

As always this was a great experience and a beautiful weekend. The staff here is absolutely amazing from when you walk through the door at the store to check in 2 them helping your kids are with arts and crafts all the way up to check out. This is a top-notch staff! My kids had a blast doing the tie dye shirts for arts and crafts they also rented family bicycles and use the hot tub it was amazing!

We have been coming to the Santa Cruz KOA traditionally with multiple families every year for the past 5 years, we are disappointed that each time more amenities are being taken away and the price keeps going up and check in times are getting later. As well as the power going out for 5 hours the first night and no water off and on constantly and the front desk girls were rude! Not happy campers!

There was no heat during the majority of our stay. The first night the power went out. Then water was out intermittently. There was no apology. Then the water came back on (no communication) and our sink overflowed. Manager kicked us and our two young children out at 2pm on New Year’s Eve with no other place to stay. We have been loyal customers and referred people. We will tell people to stay a

Drove from Washington State to meet up with family from San Diego. Grandkids had so much fun between the heated pool , play equipment, train and campfire s’mores. Campsites were clean and spaced nicely.

WiFi was not working during first day of stay. When staff was told she gave me an explanation as if regular people don’t understand how WiFi works. Felt insulted. I have a degree. I think I would have a clue how WiFi works.

Hot water tank went out twice and lost power 1/2 a night

Power went out, no back up generator. Cabin was freezing due to power outage and had my elderly mother with me. Had to end the night early,very disappointing! They did not even offer a discount or an apology.

My cabin had a leak and my daughters clothes got wet. I did not appreciate that and I feel that the staff did not try to accommodate me. I was not too happy and hope that the leak gets fixed before they rent it out. It was cabin #83

Overall, it was a great stay. The staff in the center - while I understand working on christmas is not desired - could have been more helpful. I had made a simple request to use pool / hot tub facilities a few minutes post check out which was declined rather abruptly by staff that day. This is a fairly typical request at most hotels and other facilities, it landed as not the best customer service

The whole campground was beautifully kept! We were able to get a cabin right next to my daughter's RV camp site. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Loved our visit

The Airstream we rented was great. It was clean and very functional. I love the campground and all the amenities. The staff we wonderful especially since they were working on the holiday. I will definitely be back.

Good stay, very kid friendly, cabin sleeping area was a little claustrophobic. I liked the rest of the cabin, however. I liked the microwave, frig, tv, hair dryer and the queen bed. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable. It appeared there were boys throwing rocks into the pool from the area of the cabins above the pool. I also liked the store.

Kids loved the activities and all of the play equipment. We had a great stay. Rental campers were fine but a little worn down, with some missing awnings or windows.

Staying in an airstream was great fun!! May I suggest setting the hot water temperature higher. I had warm showers but not enough to get warmed up after being out in the rain and wind. Sorry I missed out on the light parade. Looks like you all have a lot of fun!

Cabins are nice. Heater did not work.but pet fees are ridiculous.$25 if u stay one night.so if u have 3 pets thats $75.crazy.u. would sell a lot more stuff in store if price was lower.$25 for a hat.

Everyone was friendly. The place is very nice. I love how festive it was. Only 2 things a bit disappointing, but not game changer. The cabin I chose advertised near beach. That was misleading. The bathrooms were being renovated. There was a trailer in its place but the shower was ridiculous. Otherwise enjoyed my stay and I will definitely be back again!

The campground was great and offered our kids so many activities to do. The deluxe cabin that we stayed in was very nice; however, we were right by the shared bathrooms so we constantly smelled sewage when we were outside and we also paid the extra $20 to stay by our friends who were staying with us and they weren’t by us at all and when we called to have the place right by us we got denied.

We’ve been staying there for years and we always have a great time! This year was no different as we brought two other families along. The Only problem was the cabin we stayed in SMELLED so bad we spent the first part of the morning cleaning and airing it out! We should have requested another room

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
