It was our first time at a KOA and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, impeccably clean rooms, super fun family activities and just general awesomeness. We are now KOA"ers for life!

We always enjoy our stay....but I was disappointed that complimentary coffee(4 pods) were not provided for each day you stay in a cabin....we stayed 6 nights. In the past this was the norm....just ask and you would receive the pods. Other than that, staff was very accommodating and friendly. See you next year!

The campground is awesome. We had a wonderful stay. The only complaint is that the person I texted with prior to my arrival must not have been aware of the type of cabin I had booked as they indicated our cabin had a mini fridge and microwave oven. We packed food based on this information and when we checked-in we were disappointed to find that our cabin did have any of these features.

First Time at a KOA or camping for that matter. We had friends who were there for thanksgiving and they invited us. We stayed at the little Glamping cabins knowing there was no bathroom or showers. We were a bit disappointed that the bathrooms were being renovated. That said, we booked an Airstream for next year!

We have been staying there for many years in the cabins, our popup tent trailer etc. and it has always been a great place for us.

This was the 6th or 7th time we have stayed here at it’s just as wonderful each time. The air stream was perfect, the grounds are so clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I love the wood delivery service but wish the store was open a little later. Thanks for everything. We will return soon.

I especially love the bathroom/shower accommodations. The pool option, and general store. Also, I was not expecting electricity in the cabin, very nice!

We enjoyed our stay in one of the deluxe cabins. It was just right. Loved the outdoor seating area and fire pit. Nice people, quiet place to stay.

We had a great time and our kids loved the jumping pilows and playground. Cabin was clean and had enough space for a pack n play to fit in the bedroom. I recommend bringing your own s'mores food bc marshmallows and graham crackers will cost you $12. We also bought firewood and they deliver it straight to your campsite. How convenient! Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

3rd time staying here, we love it! But very disappointed we weren't notified of the construction in the bathroom. Bathroom, showers, sink near site were closed - there were 3 portable showers/ bathroom for temp use however no trash cans (I found feminine products left out), & urine clogged showers feces on the floor. It was also loud Fri /Sat, wasn't expecting so much hammering on vacation. :(

Cabin was nice but by 7:45 am, construction started outside my window in the remodeled bathroom building. Quiet hours are supposed to be from 10-8. So much for that. Here’s a suggestion. Even if they waited until 8, it kind of ruined a nice morning. Please don’t put guests next to a construction site. And if you must, please let them know so they can be aware before deciding to stay.

We have been visiting for Haloween weekend many years and always had a wonderful time. It has been our tradition and we were allowed to book with the first option for the following year. We were very sad and upset that KOA had opened up the reservations/We lost our spaces. Sad to learn "the new manager didn't know about blocked weekends". SO MANY FAMILIES ARE UPSET! Time for new traditions

Bathroom was being worked on so that was a bummer. If we stay for 2 nights there should have been 4 Keurig pods for coffee and 4 cups (2 for each morning). Everything else was fabulous.

We had a great time as usual. Patty was very cordial and professional. We found some of the other staff to not be as friendly. We did like the way the manager handled the out of control guests. For the price we paid, we expected the bathrooms to be in better condition. The prizes fir the Halloween contest were not nearly as generous as before. But, a good time was had by all. Thank you

The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting!! We had a cabin that did not have a bathroom and in the past we haven’t had an issue. They were out of toilet paper almost the entire stay! The floors were covered with paper and trash. Then eventually 2nd night in they were vandalized and not cleaned up for another good portion. It was very disappointing.

This year's Halloween festivities were calmer and quieter than the past few years. Thank you to management for stopping so many extra visitors from entering the park for free. The staff is not as visible as they were in years past. Garbage sits, bathrooms are not tended too as often. It was also a bummer having the contests and prizes eliminated for the holiday weekend.

Extremely disappointed! Family/Friends group have been going to the KOA for 6 yrs. now for Halloween fun! This year, new owners-we felt it. Less activities, what they did offer was poor-how do you tiedye t-shirts without the t-shirts?No t-shirts available! AND-no loyalty to all of us regulars that go every year and book for the next year when we leave, they opened it up in July so we all lost out!

The worst experience yet in five years I’ve been coming. Terrible customer service!!! Rude rude rude!! The staff should be ashamed!! Plus, new rules were implemented about booking our same rooms for next year which is what we have been used to and with no warning they changed it so we no longer have our tradition for Halloween after 5 years of coming. I would not recommend the airstreams nor will I be renting those again. They are really lacking maintenance and stink. Ours smelled horrible the whole trip unless all windows were open which you can’t of course do at bight because it’s too cold. Ours also do not have a mirror which made getting ready impossible. We have been staying in those airstreams for years now and this year was bad. A03

Halloween camping is my favorite weekend of the year! Staff is always friendly and the campground is kept up well. Fun activities for the kids. We will be back again next year!

The mattresses in the airstreams are horrible. There was no hot water either and by the time we noticed it was too late to do anything about it. I also witnessed an employee speaking to a fellow camper in a not so nice tone. He was an older man driving around the campsites on Saturday a evening. Also heard many regulars complaining about the new management. I don’t think we’ll be back.

We had a wonderful stay in a deluxe cabin. The campground was quiet and not crowded as it is off-season. Plenty of fun things to do without ever leaving the campground. Hope to be a regular visitor!

Silly an old manager was extremely rude. There were several mistakes with reservations and he had no ability to adapt and over come. No flexibility and definitely no customer service. We had been coming for 7 years and realize there was change of management but communication would have helped. We will tell all Our friends to not go back

We have been coming to the Halloween event for years. We are very dissatisfied as to how new ownership screwed many families out of their historic spots. I talked to many others in the same situation. We are loosing a fair amount of our “normal” yearly campers. So much so that we are contemplating moving our yearly patronage to a different venue.

The overall stay was fun. There were several activities to participate in. For the most part, staff was friendly. At check in there was not water to the facility and at check out, the power and water had been cut off prior to 11:00 am. For those traveling far, use of restroom facility was gross and very unsanitary. Staff at check out was rude. During check out the counter was hostile and unsafe.

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
