Deluxe cabin was newish, but the linens and mattress were subpar. We enjoyed our stay, but we wish the pool/spa was open later than 6pm. Btw, the pool has heated year around and it was ice cold. Grounds were nice, clean and had lots of family activities.

Loved the location and amenities for families with kids. Only thing is that the bedding in the airsteam was very dirty and needs to be washed.

We stayed in the Airstream A01. Very cute. But upon opening the door, it reeked of cigarette smoke. After airing it out and using fresheners, it was fine. And in all honesty, the mattress was uncomfortable. But other than those two things, everything else was great!

It was fun! In retrospect kind of expensive for a cabin of that size but nice to be staying near our kids. Bummed also the price of having our small dog… I think all together we paid way more than a nice hotel…Fun place tho!!!

Multiple family and friends booked multiple cabins to celebrate a family birthday gathering on Sept. 26, 2021.. The site offers free internet connection but access was limited and frequently dropped. After permission to use the general store phone to order pizza, a supervisor steps out confronts the birthday girl "GET THE F@CK OUT, We are closing!" The birthday girl was forced out. Unacceptable

We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was very comfortable. I do recommend brighter interior lighting though. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. The store was well stocked and I didn’t feel the need to go into town for supplies. They had it there. Great place for kid activities and movie night. We had a great stay, had not been to this location in years and it was our 1st cabin stay. We love to be able to check in at 2:00 or even 3:00 like the RV sites. Needs an electric burner in kitchen. Floors needed to be be mopped better as they were pretty dirty. We enjoyed the outside living space that came with each cabin. We will be back for sure.

I was impressed by how clean the facilities and enjoyed the heated pool/spa. Usually I camp in my van or in a tent but this time we were happy to find a cabin with a heater and electricity, which was nice, since the marine layer was very wet.

This park is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in the deluxe cabin, it was perfect for us and our fur babies. We will stay again. Thank you KOA

It was a great stay great people working there ,we rented two cabins and our cabin#82 the hot water didn't work most of the time, couldn't take showers for three people.

Great place! Lots of fun activities to do on camp grounds. If you forgot something, the KOA store have EVERYTHIGN and more! Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Amazing scenic location with two beaches under 10 minutes drive each. Friendly staff. It's out 5th time there and not the last. Kids can't wait to go back.

We stayed in one of the Cabins and had a situation in the unit. I spoke to Fred and he came right over to understand what was going on. Fred did not mess around, he immediately resolved the problem and instead of us going home after one night, he made sure we had a great weekend, able to still stay in the park. He is a valuable resource to have at the KOA!Thank you Fred for putting customer first!

The room needed some love. We have stayed hear many a time and several times in 236. Cobwebs and spiders we have never had before and the floors were dirty after we spilled some water and used a towel to lick it up- the towel was brown from the floor. Had to wear shoes the rest of our trip inside- the younger check in staff need a lesson or 2 from the older staff- like smile and welcome the guests

Airstream we stayed in was poorly maintained. Pots practically unusable the handles were coming off. Fire came out of the water heater pilot every time it sparked. Shower wouldnt close so we didnt have enough towels. Outside of it (mainly the windows matter) was filthy(and yes I know we are camping). Screens ripped not all windows opened properly. Electrical outlets kept popping fuses. Op mgr rude

Deluxe cabins are not all that nice for the price. It’s the location you pay for. Also being next to the pet relief area is disgusting I will not stay near there again

Very nice and quiet during the weekday.. the weekends are much busier and of course louder. I stayed in a Rustic Cabin and was disappointed there wasn't a refrigerator or microwave. otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Overall, we love this place! Most of the staff is friendly and helpful.. Unfortunately, the last 2 visits we had some very UNFRIENDLY younger people (thin guy in a beanie who delivered firewood and picked up trash didn't even speak back when we would say hello and shorter young girl with long eyelashes in store was never friendly.) Coffee super weak. We love the cleanliness and atmosphere though.

Fred (manager?)at the front desk was not very nice when I needed help adjusting my reservation. Extremely rude and unprofessional. We also ended up canceling my reservation in October bc of this and may not return again after coming there for 12 years. I Never met someone so angry and uncaring who obviously doesn’t like there job. He should not be in customer service.

I've stayed at several different KOAs... this one was the best by far! I love the trash pick up service you have every morning. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it! All the staff were very helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed. My partner is disabled and not only did we not get an ADA cabin (which is illegal), we booked a cabin with a cooktop and we’re placed in one without. When I called the office I was told that she could not accommodate us! All week I walked by the vacant ADA cabin and several others that had the kitchen. Nothing like being lied to.

Staff was very friendly and text alerts were helpful. Some of the things in the cabin was broken or about to break, may need to upgrade some things like the pull out sofa (dips in the middle) toilet roll holder, bathroom hand grower holder, mini screen doors by the bunk bed. But overall had a great stay. All the recreation activities were perfect for kids.

Very rude staff and management, ruined our entire overall experience of KOA. If you don't like being friendly when serving paying customers then you should not be in management or customer service. Not to mention the racisms and sexism that was appalling. After reading the other negative reviews on Yelp about the general manager Fred, I will not return until he is terminated.

Customer service was not friendly. When I checked in, the staff told me and write down the store hours that closes at 9pm. When I showed up the store at 8pm, it was closed. The staff opened the door & said it was closed.The sign outside the door said 9pm. I told her I just need to get icecream for the kids. She slammed the door at me. I called the afterhour number, he said nothing he could do

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
