We had 3 sites, RV, Airstream and Deluxe Cabin. Everything was nice except we were surprised the Airstream was a little beat up inside, the door was hard to open and the exterior needs to be washed. The windows were covered with dirt.

I’ve been going to the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA since the late 80’s the last time was in 2010 until now. What an improvement over a KOA I already enjoyed. It is a fabulous place for families. All the staff were wonderful. And their Halloween event for all of October is absolutely amazing. GREAT JOB KOA. We’ll be back!

Not great this time. There were at least 4 empty back in playground sites during our stay - even though we were told prior to our arrival they were all booked. Multiple campers walking by were quite upset as well. The site we chose and paid extra for was one of the only ones w/o a concrete pad/pavers even though it’s listed as a standard patio. so disappointed.

RV spaces were not too tight, they were clean and well kept with nice seating areas. Facilities were clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Great for kids with a wonderful play area and holiday activities. Only drawback were the shower stalls were small. Great overall.

It’s a great campground with lots of activities for kids. Campground and facilities were clean. Great setup with the playground next to the campsite! Pool party was great! A big plus is that the campground is dog friendly. The staff was helpful and friendly! We love this KOA! Thank you!

I’ve been to several KOAs over the years in different states and Santa Cruz is hands down the most organized and nicest one I’ve ever been to. It also seems to attract the best people that stay there. It was an actual community like being at home.

We had a one-night, spur-of-the-moment camping trip with two of our grandsons last weekend. (We live less than 15 minutes away from the KOA!) We all had a BLAST, swimming, ping-ponging, Blobbing, looking at the fun Halloween decorations and costumed campers. The KOA Holiday is totally geared for amazing family fun and adventures. We will be taking our other grandkids at some point!

We were only able to stay five days but found the Santa Cruz Koa to be ideally located between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The campground is located close to several beaches. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely return!

It’s a very nice park with lots of room between sites. The setting is beautiful; we enjoyed it very much. Everything was clean and well-kept. We will be back!

Very peaceful! Staff at the store and the young man picking up the trash was very helpful! Clean and spacious spot for our 40’ 5th wheel. We will definitely be back when visiting the area. �

Of the five different places we stayed on this trip, Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA was by far our favorite!

Our favorite KOA for the central California coast. Sites are nicely arranged and clean. Easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey. Beaches and restaurants are close by. Staff are the best, pleasant and always friendly. I highly recommend. Thank You!

The only reason I didn’t give a 10 was for the over priced camping propane cost.. $19.99 for one bottle! We went to Target and bought a 2-pack for $7.39. Stop the price gouging.

Requested to move sites but this was denied by an inflexible host claiming cleanup would need to be done. Our site was spotless. Cleanup would have taken no time at all. There was also a horrible yelling argument that occurred that same early afternoon. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? For the nightly cost, this place is hardly worth it.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The staff was friendly and helpful, the amenities were everything we hoped for, and our neighbors were very pleasant. We will be back to stay again soon.

a great place all in all. only negatives were noisy neighbors in the nearby rental airstreams, not knowing to use the gate code on the back of the yellow car tag for after-hours re-entry, and the $10/guest person fee (confusing policy).

My family really enjoyed our stay. Last year was the first time we came and that everything was open and we still had a good time. But this year everything was open and my grandkids absolutely loved it and the staff was very nice.

We rented an RV and this was our first time RVing. To be honest we chose the KOA because there were not any other parks available at the time. Our children are grown and we were a little concerned about possible noise from all the kids and families, but to our surprise it was very quiet most of the time. The park is very clean and relaxing with ample space and beautiful landscaping throughout.

Everything was great. There was a lot of noise after 12 and before 6:30 from certain groups but that’s what family and group camping is all about. Nice clean campground.

My stay was fun. We enjoyed our site and proximity to the playground and jumping pillow. My only feedback is that when I checked in, I wasn't offered the option of using my KOA membership points. I had to ask if I had any available. In my previous stays, it's always been offered.

People were friendly when I checked in. Nice site for my 5th wheel. The pull throughs are really nice, get one if you can. The place is clean, bathrooms were very clean. The store there is well stocked, employees were friendly and polite. I will definitely go back.

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
