Having the hot tub close at 6pm was very disappointing. Paying what guests pay should cover the cost for someone keeping the store open (if it is true that a landline needs to be available for emergencies) . At least until 8:00. Not being able to go in the evening was very frustrating to not be able to use all the ammenities for the amount that we paid to stay

The internet was very slow, we couldn't get anyone at the office to answer questions. We tried to rent bikes two days but no one was at the bike stand and the electricity went out one night. The train, pool and jump pillow were great.

Generally good but with the following exceptions: 1) We explicitly reserved a full hookup site (including sewer) but were given a site with no sewer. This cost us an hour to visit the office/unhook/move the trailer/rehook 2) The 30-amp outlet is loose and needs to be replaced 3) The water faucet doesn't shut off fully and needs to be replaced

Went OUT OF POWER ALL NIGHT, we needed to use our generator. In the morning at the check out the lady in the front desk said she couldn't do anything about it. We asked if they can give us a discount, since we used the generator ALL NIGHT, and she said NO. So we called "Customer Service" and they said they can't do anything about it either because KOA's are managed independently. DISSAPOINTING!

Very clean facility and we had lots of fun despite the rain. My only suggestion is to rent the 4?seater bikes in 15 min increments. We were exhausted after 10 mins and had to push up hills ;) I would have loved to return it and pay a quarter of the cost.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly. Campers were all friendly and courteous. The last few times we have camped here were disappointing but KOA Santa Cruz is back to the top of our list of places to stay!

I was here over Christmas weekend. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even when they were working Christmas day. Everything was clean and well maintained. I appreciate the multiple dog areas; it is nice to be able to let my dogs off leash for awhile.

Loved our family time here despite the cold and rain. Heated bathrooms and shower room was a huge plus. So nice and quiet, could hear the frogs way off in the distance at night. This is our off-season destination for sure.

Great stay, very nice facility. My only complaint was we had family visit us for the day, some are handicapped. Their car was slight on the road and instead of asking in a friendly manner to move, he was very rude send condescending. He was the only downside of our stay.

Love this KOA, clean friendly and with all of the amenities. Our visit was marred by noisy neighbors for a couple of evenings and the lack of an internet connection for our last three days there. I don’t mind the sounds of happy kids and adults, but having a big screen TV blaring next to me 6 hours a day is disappointing to say the least…..I didn’t spend $90 a night to have a TV next to me

The facilities are beautiful and the amenities are great. But the loud music and partying were a miserable experience. I had my two year with me and our neighbors watched loud movies on there outdoor surround sound system till 10pm nightly. While a group of 4 rvs partied till after that nightly. The spaces are just too close together to not be effected.

This place is expensive, but the best option for the Santa Cruz area. Full hookups, kid and pet friendly, swimming pool, train rides, kid activities and great play areas make the extra cost worth it. Beach is a short drive away 1/4 mile.

Great, except I'm trying to get to sleep and your office texts me to quite down at 10pm. Yet, 15 spaces away there is a load party. Nothing is being done about it.

We always enjoy our stay at the Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA. The scheduled activities for the children keep them entertained all day long.

This was probably my 8th stay at this KOA. There was a huuuuuuge party staying in the cabins down near site 82. They had giant speakers on stands and their incredibly loud music played long past quiet time. I had mixed feelings because I want people to have fun, but it was *so loud* (plus lots of screaming adults and kids). No one answered the after hours line despite calling 5 times each night.

Had a FedEx package arrive and was confirmed delivery by FedEx. Office staff continued to tell me nothing was delivered... it took me 3 attempts at the office before a 3rd person actually went into the back office and found it.

What a great park, once you get there. Roadways coming into the park from 101, are tight, bumpy and had low branches, it might just be our rig (13.5 hgt). The park itself is very clean, manicured and the staff is accommodating. When we come back to CA, we will be stopping here again. Hopefully the roads will be fixed. :)

Stayed for 4 nights. It’s a 20 minute walk to an absolutely beautiful beach. Or a much shorter bicycle or car drive. Really good staff, lots to do, especially for younger families at the facility itself.

Great staff...helpful and friendly. Initial site was not so great, but was able to move the next day to a better (sunnier) location without an issue. We'll definitely be back.

It was our first RV trip in our new trailer. Alec and the KOA staff helped us out with the setup and breakdown of our trailer. I highly recommend the Santa Cruz / Monterey KOA. A great place, lots to do, and the staff are awesome. Thanks, Alec and the rest of the staff. We will be back soon.

We love this place. I've spent time at many Koa over the years and they are all clean, fun for the kids and so close to Monterey pier and Santa cruz boardwalk. Over the years I've stayed here 5 or 6 times. The only drawback is the price it is very spendy. We pay half the fee at the booking and we save for the rest. Never had any problems with the camp sites or the management I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars because of the price of the lodging. My favorite Koa is Manchester Beach.
