The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market—proudly presented by FM Light & Sons—is back and better than ever! Nestled along scenic Yampa Street (between 5th and 8th), we pop up every Saturday from June 6th to September 26th, 2026, bringing small-town charm and big-time flavor from 9 AM to 2 PM. Please note that we will not be operating on uly 4th due to the Parade.

With 150+ vendors each week, there's always something new to discover! Stock up on the freshest veggies, locally raised buffalo, eggs chicken, pork and beef, as well as seafood and trout. Spice things up with specialty sauces, indulge in sweet treats, and explore handcrafted goods from talented local artisans.

Need a dose of community? Swing by the Western Welcome Center for Non-Profits (on 7th Street, thanks to Christy Sports) to meet our incredible local organizations—or chat with City Council while you're at it! Drop by the Guest Experience Tent brought to you by The Group Realty and pick up a Market Bingo Sheet for the kids or find out what special events are happening at the market or Downtown this weekend.

Guests are encouraged to park in the Upper Knoll parking lot (free). Paid parking is available in the Steamboat Square and Ski Time Square parking garages.

PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS
Pets are not permitted at Sunset Happy Hour or inside Thunderhead Lodge. Service animals, specifically trained to provide a service covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act, are welcome. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not currently qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Under the lights at the Brent Romick Arena, clouds of dirt and cries of victory tell the gripping story of the West with a time-honored and award-winning Steamboat tradition.The Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series takes place every Friday and Saturday night from July through August in Downtown Steamboat Springs. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the Fourth of July performance which begins at 6:30 p.m.

The free summer concert series returns to the base of Howelsen Hill for the 29th year. Keepin' It Free brings nationally recognized artists to our mountain town every year with artists ranging from pop, reggae, bluegrass, blues, and funk. The series serves as a gathering for all ages and has become one of the signature events in the valley. The best part? It's completely free!

The summer-long Coca-Cola Movies on the Mountain series brings family favorites to life outdoors. Grab your crew and head to Steamboat Square for movies under the star-filled mountain sky. A beloved local tradition, this free series runs on six Saturday evenings at sunset throughout the summer. Steamboat Radio's Shannon Lukens (DJ Shan Dawg) will be there each week with fun giveaways.

Where should I park?

There is free parking at the Knoll Lot, which is right across the street from the resort. There is also a paid parking option in the Steamboat Square Lot.

What should I bring?

Bring your own lawn chair or blanket to make yourself comfortable during the movie. Bring the kids, but please leave the pets at home. Pack jackets for cooler evening temps (it gets chilly when the sun goes down) and sleeping bags for the kids to create a fun campout vibe.

What's available for food and drink?

There is a movie concessions available until 9 p.m. Snack on boxed candy, popcorn and Coca-Cola products from the convenient outdoor concessions stand. Steamboat Resort is CASH FREE. Cards only, or tap to pay on your phone.

Actor, writer, radio show host, and Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed artists of his generation. A protégé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with songs recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. In 1986, he released Guitar Town, which reached number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre.

Café 1930s: Jazz, Tango, and Cabaret

A Strings Music Festival ensemble traces the vibrant, jazz-infused soundscape of interwar cafés and cabarets around the world. From American jazz clubs and vaudeville stages to the cabarets of Berlin, the tango cafés of Buenos Aires, and London's avant-garde salons, the program captures a moment when classical, popular, and theatrical traditions collided.
Works by Paul Schoenfield and Zez Confrey evoke the wit and sparkle of American café culture, while Kurt Weill's iconic “Mack the Knife” and Astor Piazzolla's sultry Café 1930 reflect the era's international spirit and artistic daring. The evening culminates in William Walton's theatrical Façade, conducted by Mark Gould and featuring narration by Brian McWhorter, bringing to life the humor, edge, and cosmopolitan flair of a world in motion.

Enhance your Café 1930s evening with exclusive access to the Strings patio tent before the performance. This limited-capacity experience includes savory hors d'oeuvres, a private cash bar, and a relaxed, intimate lounge-style setting. During an extended intermission, return to the tent for dessert before heading back into the Pavilion.
The menu features grilled peach flatbread with goat cheese and fig compote, a Mediterranean cheese board, smoked salmon blinis, watermelon skewers with feta and fresh mint, and a dessert buffet.

In a career spanning more than 50 years, dozens of albums, and too many shows to count, Marty Stuart continues to chart new territory at every opportunity. A five-time Grammy Award-winner, Congress of Country Music founder, Country Music Hall of Famer, and AMA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, he has left an indelible mark on successive eras of country music and culture. He went from accompanying Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash to launching a storied solo career highlighted by classic albums such as the Gold-certified Hillbilly Rock and Platinum-certified This One's Gonna Hurt You, as well as Grammy Award-winning anthems including “The Whiskey Ain't Workin'” [with Travis Tritt] and “Same Old Train.”
Immersing himself in film and television, he notably scored All the Pretty Horses, earning a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Score, along with Grammy Awards for Best Country Instrumental Performance for “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” and “Hummingbird.”
NPR put it best: “For millions, Marty Stuart is the very image of country music, splendid jackets, musical mastery, respect for tradition, and a good jolt of humor.” It would be hard-pressed to find a corner of country music he hasn't influenced. He hosted the long-running fan favorite television series The Marty Stuart Show and remains a member of the Country Music Foundation and Grand Ole Opry. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020 and founded the Congress of Country Music in Philadelphia, Mississippi, preserving and celebrating the genre's history.
Joined by his longtime band The Fabulous Superlatives, he reaches new creative heights with his first full-length double LP of original instrumentals, Space Junk. The album's cover art is a painting by Stuart's longtime hero and friend Herb Alpert, leader of the Tijuana Brass, a group Stuart considers one of the greatest instrumental bands of all time. The interplay between Marty, Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson, and Chris Scruggs drives a sound filled with surf guitar, California rhythms, steel, and fluid fretwork. Space Junk feels like country music's preeminent band landing on a Malibu beach and launching into an unforgettable, starlit jam.

At the heart of Wordan Jilson & The Wild Bunch is a sound built on the wide-open, weathered spirit of the American West. Jordan Wilson leads the band on vocals and guitar, bringing over ten years on stage, and under his lead the group has expanded from a hometown draw into a touring act with fans well beyond Colorado. They've built a loyal following throughout the Yampa Valley and carried that momentum into new markets across Denver, California, and Arizona, earning a name for shows that hit hard and stay true to their cowboy roots.

The band's music blends alt-country rock with the grit of frontier-era Americana, conjuring images of dusty trails, sun-worn saddles, and wide horizons, all delivered with a distinctly modern edge. The current lineup includes Jordan Wilson on vocals and guitar, Jorden Harms on bass, Jordan Brenegan on fiddle, Colin Boyle on lead guitar, and Jake Smiley on drums — five musicians united by a love of storytelling and roots music. Wherever they play, Wordan Jilson & The Wild Bunch brings a set that's part rowdy, foot-stomping energy and part heartfelt melody.

Every year, mountain bikers and trail runners flock to some of Steamboat Springs' most iconic trails to participate in the best trail race of the year. Now in the seventh decade of his professional life, Herbie Hancock remains where he has always been: at the forefront of world culture, technology, business, and music.
Herbie Hancock has been an integral part of every popular music movement since the 1960's. As a member of the Miles Davis Quintet that pioneered a groundbreaking sound in jazz, he also developed new approaches on his own recordings, followed by his work in the 70s — with record-breaking albums such as Headhunters — that combined electric jazz with funk and rock in an innovative style that continues to influence contemporary music. Rockit and Future Shock marked Hancock's foray into electronic dance sounds; during the same period he also continued to work in an acoustic setting with V.S.O.P.
Hancock received an Academy Award for his Round Midnight film score and 14 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for River: The Joni Letters, and two 2011 Grammy Awards for the globally collaborative CD, The Imagine Project.
Hancock serves as Creative Chair for Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and as Institute Chairman of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. In 2011, Hancock was named a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and in December of 2013, received a Kennedy Center Honor. His memoir, Herbie Hancock: Possibilities, was published by Viking in 2014, and in February 2016, he was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
