Steamboat Springs KOA Holiday General Information

Car Camping is available on our Campground

No riding of ATVS, motorized scooters, bikes, or golf carts on our campground!

ADD ON ITEMS: If you pre purchase any add on camp store items when booking online, the items must be picked up during the main camp store open hours. If you are a late arrival, the items will need to be picked up the following day during our open hours.

No tents are allowed on Cabin or RV lawns. Maximum occupancy for RV Sites and Tent Sites is 6 people per site, visitors included. We allow one family and one vehicle per site. A family is defined as parents and their minor children. Rates are based on 2 people, there is a $5.00 additional charge per night per extra person from ages 6+. Cabin occupancy is not to exceed the number of people the cabin is rated for. All vehicles in the campground must have a car pass visibly displayed.

All patio sites have tables, grills and firepits removed from site from October To April

The flying of or use of Drones or any unmanned Aircraft are prohibited at Steamboat Springs KOA. This is pursuant to FAA Rules, Part 107, August 2016

Current Store Hours are:

• 9a-5p Sunday through Wednesday
  
• 9a-5p Thursday through Saturday 
  
• 8a-9p Every day starting May 18th
  

There is a charge for guests and visitors who use our park. Please meet your guests upon their arrival at the office and register them before going to your site or cabin. There is a $10.00 visitor charge. Please ask at the front desk where visitors should park their vehicle. All visitors must have a parking pass visibly displayed in their car. All visitors must be off the campground by 9PM

Firewood is available year round, We leave fire pits in most sites for the winter season as well.  All fires MUST be in a fire ring . Do not move fire rings.

Just give the office a call and we will deliver the firewood to your site.

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text, voicemail and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

RV and Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 pm, seven days before your scheduled arrival
Cabins, Cottages and Lodges: You must give 14 days cancellation notice.  Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 pm, fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

Cancellations made after the above deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.

REFUNDS AND EARLY DEPARTURES: There will be no refunds for early departures. There is a 3 night minimum stay during the Holidays of Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day, with no refunds for early departure.

Check-In time for all RV and Tent Sites is 1:00 pm and Cabins and Lodges is 2:00 pm. Check-Out time for all Sites and Cabins is by 11:00 am. There is an early check-in charge of $25.00 starting at 12:00 PM, if the site is available. Early Check-In is not available for cabins and deluxe cabins. There is a late check-out charge of $25.00, if the site is available, until 12:00 PM. Late check-out is not available for cabins and deluxe cabins.

We take great pride in our Park being a safe and healthy place to vacation. Smoking is not permitted in any of our cabins, cottages or deluxe cabins, our store or pavilion, or any other building on the property. We also ask that you do not smoke around any door entrances or exits. Smoking is only permitted in areas where others are not being affected.

Dogs are $5.00 per dog, per night for RV and Tent and $15 per dog, per night for all lodging units. You don't have to leave your loyal companion at home, but we do ask that you abide by the following rules: Pets must be on a 6' leash at all times when outside and you must clean up after them. When you leave the campground, pets must not be left unattended outside. Pets that continually bark, day or night, are not permitted. All pets must have current vaccinations and wear their proper tags. Pets are allowed in cabins, cottages and deluxe cabins. We reserve the right to limit the number, size or breed of pets.

Aggressive Dogs, If the animal shows aggressive behavior while on the park you will be asked to leave, and no refund will be given.

10:00 pm - 7:00 am Please be considerate of your fellow campers. We want you to enjoy your stay, but we do ask you be considerate and keep the noise down while other campers start to wind down for the night. Please do not walk through occupied campsites, stay on the roads or walkways

Free Wi-Fi is available for all guests of the Steamboat Springs KOA Holiday.

We are in Bear Country! Please take trash to our bear-proof dumpsters DAILY, and do not leave any trash, food or coolers outside your RV, tent or cabin.

When making reservations and you wish to request a specific site, if it is available, there is a $10.00 site request charge added to the reservation. Without the site request charge, we will try our best to honor your request, but WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE RESERVATIONS AS NEEDED up until the time of arrival. The type of site you reserve is guaranteed.
