As always the staff, maintenance, the grounds, are impeccable. This is, and always will be "Our Preferred" place to stay while in Steamboat Springs.

New to staying at the Steamboart KOA (and KOA's in general). The cabin was great, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were attentive and polite. What else could you ask for?

We loved our stay! Everything was smooth and easy. If there is one improvement I could suggest, it would be grading the dirt/gravel lot(electrical only hookups) so puddles do not collect there.

We loved the beautiful view of the snow/mountains & Yampa River just a one minute walk from our campsite, the site was newly added along with other modern cabins that were nice! The owner said as soon as the snow thaws he will be putting concrete access instead of the gravel. The place was nice and clean and had lots to offer. The owner and one of the maintenance men from AL were welcoming.

We booked on line. When we arrived we were offered a site that was completely flooded with snowmelt. When we complained we were offered a site that cost $30 more even though there were vacant sites available that did not involve an upcharge. Bait and Switch is an unethical business practice and this facility should lose their KOA franchise

Got a muddy parking spot surrounded by muck. Would've left that night but had to wait until the ground froze to get the van out because it got stuck.

The area is beautiful, but unfortunately some of your staff made very bad impressions. The maintenance punk, adam, was arrogant and rude, and probably shouldn't talk about campers to other campers. Are we really that childish? Salina (hope I spelled this correctly) had really no personality when you tried numerous times to speak to her. If you are in the hospitality business, then be that.

Very muddy and plenty of potholes. Standing water by my sewage and electrical area. Extremely muddy roads. Trash bins were full which are near proof and must be shut. Employee instead of helping out tells me good luck in getting my trash in it. Extra charge of $5.00 per day per dog - never had that before. Why? This was spring in March when there is still snow. maybe summer time is better.

We love this KOA. Facilities are always clean, staff is always friendly! Adam is Awesome, and helped us get our car out that was stuck in the mud. Perfect place to stay in Steamboat. We can’t wait to go back in the summer.

Extremely muddy and not good cleared out spots. For the amount of snow, I don’t understand why they haven’t added in black top or concrete spots. The snow was poorly cleaned out so we barely fit in the spot. The customer service was not good. The showers were clean thankfully,

We were delighted with our little cabin! The stairs are a bit steep and the couch was horribly uncomfortable otherwise its a great little log cabin it was! It was charming and warm and we hadn't realized that it actually had a bit of a kitchen that we would liked to have taken more advantage of it. The host even called to make arrangements if we didn't make it by 5:00. We will rent one again.

The delux cabin worked well for my stay. After hours check in and out went smooth. I gave 4 stars because the morning I left the water was not working, ( it was 10 degrees outside.) The last issue was the metal frame futon was very uncomfortable to sit on. Enjoyed my 2 nights stay.

The location was excellent and quiet. The person who checked us in was not real friendly and rolled her eyes when asked about moving to another site so we could get cable (we were staying a whole week). But the other staff was very friendly and helpful. Our blocks froze into the ground and they promptly came with a tractor and lifted them out for us. We would stay again but ask 1st about cable!

Place is well kept and location is nice. Prices a little tough though. Only complaint. Staff … office and field very accommodating certainly helps over look the higher cost

We loved staying in the new cabins! We had everything we needed. We appreciated all of the hooks for hanging up snow gear, coats, etc. We can't wait to come back!

Nice facility, friendly helpful staff. Very handy that the bus to town and the ski hill stops frequently right in the camp.

We stayed in the New Deluxe cabins and they were amazing! We have stayed in several hotel/condos in Steamboat Springs but the new deluxe cabins have been the best so far! We will be making the KOA our go to place. The staff was wonderful and everything was so clean and nice!

Very friendly. Clean bathrooms. Winter camping is not for everyone, but I've been RV camping at this KOA for ski trips for the last 10 years, and it's been really great.

Great location on the Yampa and free bus line to town and the mountain. Clean, warm, comfortable bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff and fellow guests. Can’t wait to book our next trip

Cute cabin but really packed in there. The TV was all static and the water didn't work at all in the morning (too cold?). We were there for only a short time and it was a comfortable place to sleep.

With night time temps below 0F really appreciated warm, clean shower & BR! Hosts friendly and helpful. When we decided to extend our stay, they arranged it so we could stay in our same site...a BIG deal with a trailer! Thanks so much!

Great location, beautiful views! Bathrooms were clean and the cabin I stayed in was warm enough even during the coldest night (-5). Looking forward to returning to explore more of this amazing city.

Open in winter. Frequent busrd to downtown and ski area. Clean bathrooms and shower. Safe and comfortable.

Great access to town by bus. Easy to plug in. Bathrooms clean. A great place to stay in your van or RV and ski.

Super fun and friendly place. Made our trip easy. We rented a camper trailer for our first time in the dead of winter this year and KOA was the easiest and best part. Friendly staff and neighbors.

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
