We enjoyed our stay here. Sites were large and adequately spaced. The restrooms were clean and there was areas to walk our dog.

We spent one night the very last week they were open and had a great time! Everyone was sooo nice! Kamp grounds and cabins were clean, plenty of things to do right there, good amenities in the shop.

The Alamosa KOA is an awesome KOA!! We were there for 5 days and wish we had stayed longer. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable about all the places to see around Alamosa. The sites are very nice, the grounds are clean and the views of the mountains all around are beautiful. We will definitely stay there again.

First thing i want to say is that we really enjoy staying at KOA campgrounds. My only complaint is that someone could have turned on the heater in the cabin at check-in time so that maybe the cabin would have heated up. forecast for mid 20s overnight, someone should have had enough foresight knowing the small radiator heater never had a chance to warm up. we almost left in the night.

We have stayed at this KOA several times, as it's on the way to places that we visit regularly. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they send frequent texts, reminding us to put out our garbage for pickup, to disconnect water hoses when the temperature drops, and reminding us about pizza in the office. We also get a pre-check-in text, a welcome text, and a thank-you text when we leave

The owners were very helpful and had excellent communication. They informed us of hazards like freezing temperatures and joys like rainbows. Beautiful terrain and landscapes. The dunes and Zapata Falls are a must see.

The folks running the KOA were super nice! I was very disappointed in the view from our site. I thought we had paid for one of the best view sites. Most sites had much better views than ours. The other issue was the internet.....not strong and went out often.

Great service from start to finish. Between the pizza delivery, trash pick up, convenient and clean laundry facility, escort to our site, propane fill up and delivery to our site, and smiling/courteous/friendly staff it was just what we needed after a few challenging days on our trip.

Really enjoyed our stay from our arrival until our departure. Staff was very courteous and the views were great. Loved the reminder messages and trash service! Very happy with our stay and we would stay here again for sure! Thank you!!

This is only my second time staying at a KOA and I found the experience renting a cabin at the Alamosa Journey KOA a delightful surprise. The hosts were so accommodating and efficient. They allowed my brother who was sleeping in his VW camper to share my cabin parking space. Not sure if this is the usual or it was an end of season flexibility, but it was a very nice. Great hosts very helpful.

Roomy sites, good wifi. Best of all, though, are the staff: friendly, helpful, decent folks. I'd stay here again if I was passing through.

The staff was very friendly. We had all we needed but the property needs a little upgrading, primarily the shower area. Felt the tent area facing the side road should have wood fencing vs farm fencing for privacy and security.

Site was great. Really liked the text updates. Exiting the resort needs to be improved a lot. Way too narrow for a 45’ class a coach. Low hanging limbs and a narrow path on the exit drive. Almost removed exhaust pipe on rail road ties. It should be much easier if you are looking to support “ big rigs” and not just smaller campers.

Love the Alamosa KOA. This was our first stay but we will be back! The people were friendly and helpful, the spots were great, they had pizza and wings available to purchase each day that they delivered. I can’t say enough good things about it! You will net be disappointed!

This is the cleanest most orderly KOA ever. Everything, gas bbq, furniture and table were as clean as could be. The front desk staff were very accommodating and the store was well stocked with anything you could want. Sites were very large and the layout gave us great privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an end site and could see Blanca Peak. Spaced far enough apart. We had a nice tree and nice furniture. About 25 miles from any attraction in any direction. Definitely would stay again! Nice people!

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
