We spent one night the very last week they were open and had a great time! Everyone was sooo nice! Kamp grounds and cabins were clean, plenty of things to do right there, good amenities in the shop.

First thing i want to say is that we really enjoy staying at KOA campgrounds. My only complaint is that someone could have turned on the heater in the cabin at check-in time so that maybe the cabin would have heated up. forecast for mid 20s overnight, someone should have had enough foresight knowing the small radiator heater never had a chance to warm up. we almost left in the night.

This is only my second time staying at a KOA and I found the experience renting a cabin at the Alamosa Journey KOA a delightful surprise. The hosts were so accommodating and efficient. They allowed my brother who was sleeping in his VW camper to share my cabin parking space. Not sure if this is the usual or it was an end of season flexibility, but it was a very nice. Great hosts very helpful.

Weekend getaway from Denver that was exactly what we needed! Great owners, cute cabins, crisp fall nights next to the fire. And a stones throw from so much to do and see!

Very nice clean place. The bathrooms were well kept. Everyone was friendly. Close to the Great Sand Dunes. Definitely, will be our go place to in Alamosa.

The location was excellent as we planned to visit Pagosa Springs as well as the Sand Dunes. The camp is very clean and very pet friendly. The dogs could be off leash in the pet play ground.

I enjoyed the tranquility of the cabin surroundings and grounds, lots of trees and space at this campground. But especially I enjoyed free popcorn and coffee and the hospitable staff member who helped brew fresh coffee for me. I didn't plan for a campground with pizza for my visit but next time I visit I will be proud to order a pizza or two for my stay.

Nice koa, great location, close to the great sand dunes! Beautiful mountain views from the koa. Nice showers, bathrooms, and helpful staff!

Extremely quiet. Host were ver very friendly. A great place to stay while visiting the Great Sand Dunes. RV spots far apart. We stayed in a cabin. Clean nice, restrooms and showered clean and warm. The Kia store was surprising well stocked

This was our very first time camping at a KOA (first time camping in general). We had a great time and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The little store had all the supplies we needed. Beautiful scenery. Very clean.

Wonderful, kind, helpful hosts and staff. Bunkhouse was fun but needs maintenance - screen doors, window repairs so you can cool it off at night (no a/c and 85 in evening in house) and keep bugs out, plant trees around it.

Easy check-in, clean cabins and bathrooms. We loved our stay here after sledding down The Great Sand Dunes. We checked in around 6:30pm right and noted they sold pizzas. They took our pizza order right before turning off the oven, we were hungry and tired and being able to order food and have it delivered to our cabin was great and helpful. We hope to back!

Our stay was perfect! Facilities and cabins were well maintained. Loved the daily text reminders for trash pickup, pizza, ice and wood delivery. My grandchildren loved the bike rentals, pool and playground. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice to have charcoal grill at each cabin as well as a fire ring. Check in was a breeze and well organized. We stayed for 4 nights and definitely will stay again

Great, clean campground. Awesome pool and games to play. Such nice campground hosts - always texting updates and offers to deliver snacks or firewood. Only suggestion would be to have hairdryers in the ladies bathroom and mats in the showers - to raise one up off the floor. Maybe also an exhaust fan - the bathroom was always quite steamy. Thanks!

This has to be one of the BEST KOAs I have stayed at (and we stay at them frequently). The staff are amazingly friendly and professional. The grounds are clean. Bathrooms are impeccable. I LOVE the texting updates this campground does. Getting the "last call" for firewood or supplies for the evening is so incredibly helpful. I would 100% recommend this KOA. Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

The young men at the registration desk and in the ATV were very helpful. The kabin 3 was very clean. Showers were clean but I think you need a bit more ventilation for tge womens shower room. Altogether a good stay.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
