We loved our stay at the Alamosa KOA! It’s so close to Great Sand Dunes and we went into Alamosa a few times to eat and shop. The people that work at the KOA are all super friendly. The sites are a good size. We used the pool, laundry room and bathrooms and all were clean and nice. I highly recommend staying here!

This was my family’s first time at a KOA. We had a great experience. I appreciate the considerate customer service. I’m excited to go back!

I looked for places to stay in this area and thought it might be nice to stay at a spot with a pool. Well the pool was absolutely disgusting! Our site was right in the open sun, even though we paid for the deluxe site. It appeared to be a newer area, why not place it the other way towards the mountains? The man cut the grass right next to where I was sitting drinking my morning coffee! Refund!?!?!

Almost everything was perfect. But, my husband was out walking our dogs later in the evening when a spray truck came through the park spraying mosquito killer and sprayed my husband and dogs. It would have been nice if the park would have given the campers a heads up about this. We had no idea this was coming. Also, the toilets were also plugged often, not so great. Otherwise, we loved the place.

Excellent stay at the Alamosa KOA Campground and the owners and staff were really friendly and took very good car of our needs. Campground is very clean, new patio furniture and grills at many of the camp sites. Will definitely be back.

We only stayed overnight, but we found the staff and registration process to be highly professional. The campground and facilities were well kept and clean. We will stop again and stay longer.

Les was so pleasant to work with. Jo and Fred such friendly staff also. The in house pizza food and door delivery was outstanding. The pizza and chicken sure looked good “Wasn’t it ‘mm’ !!! “ We’ve always loved staying at this KOA!

The campground is a standard KOA. There isn't much of a view. We didn't use the bath facilities or the pool. No problems with the full hookups.

Clean restrooms and campsites. Great location. Site size better than average. Friendly service. Well stocked camp store. Nice views of mountains. Convenient to services and restaurants in Alamosa, as well as Great Sand Dunes National Park. Would give 5/5 but highway noise started before sunrise for tent campers.

Obviously an older KOA. The site next to me was occupied by a long term 'guest' who had tarps and trash scattered about. The KOA had trees, but poorly defined grass lines and muddy puil throughs with water and sewer and electric on non-standard sides of the trailer which is probably normal for older campgrounds. Poorly laid out, but it did have good Wi-Fi which I find lacking in many.

The staff was friendly and professional. Many of the sites are shaded and spacious. The pool was sparkling clean, warm, and refreshing. There were plenty of trash cans available, yet staff would still pick up your bagged trash every day if you had it outside by 11 am. It was a quiet, clean, and peaceful KOA with nicely graveled sites and roads.

Campsite was great - loved the store, internet was great, staff was nice, location was great - close to town, also close to the Great Sand Dunes.

We met my sister's family w/ their new camper; otherwise we wouldn't have ended up in a commercial campground. But loved it! The go karts, the cleanliness, the pool, the deliveries. Not used to receiving so many texts while camping, but you definitely communicate! Have already extolled your team to a friend. You all work very hard, and it shows! Thank you for the hospitality.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
