Great placement for doing Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata falls, but also close enough to town to enjoy all that Alamosa downtown has to offer and not be in town. This was our 2nd trip to the dunes and was impromptu due to our previous location being rained out. It was our 1st call! We were not disappointed!

facilities were very clean, area well kept, stayed in the bunkhouse and loved it. had pizza we could buy for dinner, gift shop had everything we forgot and more. would definitely stay there again

One night stop over on our way to Durango from the Denver area. Park is clean, bathrooms are clean, pool looks nice, but we went to the Sand Dunes that evening, plus it rained. Staff is friendly.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Site and bathrooms are clean and well kept. It would be nice to have more flexibility with sand board rentals--it was sad that boards rented at 3pm would have to be returned by 5pm (same day, same price as full day).

This was an awesome KOA. Very well maintained grounds and friendly staff. Extra bathhouse and large outdoor sink were a nice perk. Kids enjoyed the heated pool. Highly recommend.

This is a great campground in an absolutely beautiful setting within the San Luis valley. The owners and workers work very hard to make your experience the best it can be and we will definitely return here. The only recommendation I can suggest is to trim the trees to the right of the exit it’s impossible to see cars coming from that direction.

Very clean and a nice gift shop. Staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, several guests decided not to pick up after their dogs... I even picked up another dog's mess left in the dog play area. It's not the staff's job to pick up after pets!

Great location outside of town but just minutes from everything. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sites are big and the views are awesome! Perfect base camp to explore Great Sand Dunes and the rest of the San Luis Valley!

This JOA is a gem. We had a delightful time in this very well maintained campground. Les was particularly helpful and friendly along with everyone else.

Super nice place, very well managed and executed. Our site was nice and level and shady. Nice variety of sites to chose from including some with patios, tables and chairs and shade.

Very organized on checkin, super friendly and helpful staff. Typical campground WiFi, limited cell service. Sites level and spacious, nice dog park. Highly recommended for Alamosa.

Prison beds!!! We loved the cabin except the beds are just awful! We were sad about the pool being out of service too. Overpriced for the comfort level.

Deb and Les are amazing owners and we dearly love spending our Father’s Day each year with them with our little family. The campground has grown so much! It is very clean and the services provided are wonderful; from collecting our trash, to delivering pizza and ice cream, to being very understanding about our RV breaking down. We cannot say enough amazing things about this KOA!!

Great place and so easy to navigate. So many amenities. Super clean bathrooms. Great am Fathers Day breakfast. Friendly staff! Only issue was the location by the road - this made the traffic noise difficult to fall asleep.

Very nice staff. Basic gravel sites were level and picked up, no trash. The dog park was maintained well and the bathrooms clean. The showers weren’t as clean but I understand I used it after others as there was lots of dirt on the floor. Overall a good park but was not worth the high price tag in my opinion.

KOA was friendly and kind, the most welcoming of all the KOAs we stayed in. They even offered a pizza dinner delivered to our RV, which was wonderful.

We love this KOA, was able to enjoy the pool after visiting the sand dunes & spend some time with friends! Everything was clean, dog park was great to have near by, & we were happy to have a table and chairs at our site.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
