I had a great stay! The employees in the office were so helpful checking in and when I had questions. I also appreciated the hours of the main office so I could stop in early or late!

In a pretty location - very quiet! Everyone was friendly and we always saw workers keeping things well-kept. Nice little store and laundry room was brand new. Very nice place- so glad we stayed there!!

Well maintained kampground, easily accessed pull through spaces, friendly staff, well appointed store, clean bathrooms... would totally stay here again!

The crew working were extremely friendly, very helpful, and always spot on with communication. In addition, the bathrooms were spotless and campsites clean. We had a great time and would love to stay again!

The staff were super. My complaints have to do with the price to stay there, the way too expansive cost to do laundry, and the small outdated showers. I travel all over the U.S. and in the past was a card carrier of KOA but as the price for an overnight stay, the cost of the card, and the almost worthless discount you get, I no longer find them worthwhile. $8.50 to wash and dry a load of clothes

I arrived to find site 9, which I had reserved, to be terrible!! Right next to a big light pole and electrical box. They are planning to remove that as a campsite and do something else with it. Luckily Site 3 was available and they happily switched me to that site. This KOA is nice, decent location near all the sites in the San Luis Valley/Alamosa. I've stayed here before, probably will again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Interior roads were a little rough, but that could be from snow/moisture. Beautiful view of the mountains.

Very clean and well kept camping near the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Would gladly stay here again.

Extremely clean and comfy.... Quiet - Enjoyed the beautiful Sunset and Sunrise... Know we did not "pay extra" for this, but it was beautiful! ;-)

Out of all the RV parks in the Alamosa area, this was our first preference. The main reason was that it had a lot of established trees: The San Juan Valley can get extremely windy. The other reason, it was out of town and not beside the rail road track that is very busy. Big bonus: The toilets and shower rooms were kept very clean. The only downfall, their internet was very slow.

We've stayed here quite often when we volunteer at La Puente. Very convenient to town but quiet with great views.

Spent a couple of nights at the campsite. We visited the alegator farm and rode the train from Antonito. The campground was imaculate. The whole family came. We had someone in a cabin as well as a couple of motorhomes and a popup tent camper. It was a great time. We even took advantage of the pizza delivery. It was very tasty and save me from having to cook after a long day of playing.

The curbside checkin was phenomenal, the staff was so friendly, and the facilities spotless. This gem outside of town has a great view of the mountains and is only five minutes from dining and groceries in town.

Motorhome broke down 40 miles away from this KOA, called to see if any recommendation to mobile repair. KOA staff (owner?) returned call with recommendation of mobile service repair. Very accommodating on checking in cabin or hotel and shortened our stay at KOA to 2 nights instead of 3 nights without extra charge.

Stayed 3 nights. Site was nice and big enough we didn’t feel crowded. Did laundry and all machines were working. Staff was friendly. I like the curbside check in. I would continue after COVID.

The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly. However, the facility was right off of a rural highway and traffic noise was very loud all night. The individual tent sites are extremely close together. There were no signs on the bathrooms stating face masks were required. I prefer dispersed camping, but I stayed there because a friend I have not seen in 42 years was travelling through my state.

Stay was nice, peaceful, but the sites are too close together. Not quite our style. Campground was well maintained, pizza was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

A very nice person that helped us find our site. Although it appears this KOA is expanding, all existing sites need gravel to keep people out of the dirt and our case dried lumpy mud from a recent repair. Great website and very nice site map but the reality is a location in need of deferred maintenance. We booked three nights but left after the first night.

Things were good. We were a little surprised there no cable tv available with so few OTA stations. Will stay again if in area.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
