There was no internet, this is a great failure to me, free WIFI is the main reason I stay in KOA campgrounds. Other then that no issue with the park.

This campground tries hard to make your stay enjoyable. Common areas (bathroom, laundry, office, playground) are clean and we'll kept. Text communication is excellent throughout your stay. My only issue is the weeds at the site. Very little prairie like grass. Just unmowed weeds.

Campground entrance looks great, then you'll find weeds and very little grass, dirt not gravel at the campsites. Alamosa is in an arid environment. Water for manicured grass areas is not expected, however, weed management beyond weed whacking and graveled sites is a common sense remedy. Staff is friendly. Trash is collected each morning.

Nice, clean campground that is well maintained & cared for- with very friendly owners and staff. Roomy RV spaces & fast free WiFi. We loved our new patio spot that came w gas grille- we had a peaceful stay after needing to reroute last minute due to smoke from the fires.

The Alamosa KOA is the best KOA we've stayed at so far. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The park has trees and great mountain views. It was well maintained. It's close to beautiful city of Alamosa and also to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Be sure to add the Alamosa KOA to your list of camp sites.

Short stay to judge BBQ contest in Alamosa, new check-in is great, park is always clean and level sites make parking fast and easy

Loved our site with the patio and grill. Very convenient. Super nice staff. Close to both city and National Park. Would stay again.

The camp host was super friendly. The bathrooms and shower were very clean!! Campground was quite and well maintained. I will definitely stay here when I return!

My first time at a KOA. Great place, safe, helpful staff. I felt very safe here and there were no mosquitoes.

Lovely place-amazing check-in service. The entire place was well organized and ran like clockwork regarding garbage pick up, text notifications of services available and so forth. Very close to fabulous Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Stayed for two nights while we explored the area. Nice playground and pool area. Bathrooms and showers were clean and private. Very minimal cell coverage, which was expected. Great pizza!

Very friendly staff. Owners are out there and working alongside the workers. Grounds were kept very clean. Staff delivered what you needed to campsite. They were very accommodating. Nice view from our campsite. We had a grill at our campsite which we utilized. Will definitely stay again. Did not use bathrooms so can’t comment on those. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed last weekend. Sites were clean and as advertised. Would have given the place a solid 8 if there were evening events at the campground. Place was at capacity and the only event, not advertised, was a pancake breakfast on Sunday sent via text Saturday night. Perhaps a BYOB social or a smores type event would have been awesome!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The campground is very clean and staff is so friendly. Highly recommend ordering the pizza. We will definitely return!

Nice park with a friendly and supportive staff! Sites were a bit close for my liking especially since we were not one nighters. Couldn't get comfortable when there were campers constantly setting up and taking down snd gone! Meant to be constructive! Thank you all!

We had a great stay. The owners/operators were very accommodating. They have daily trash pick up at your site. They also deliver firewood and pizza to you site if needed.

The staff were very helpful with checkin, checkout, and any questions or concerns. The shop had a little of everything that might be needed. Our 5 & 8 year old loved playing with the other kids on the playground. It was great to be able to take a shower after visiting the Sand Dunes. We had an excellent time!

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
