Very over priced!! No cable TV, no safety lights for night time, no trees, dusty. Only 4 machines in the laundry. Staff was very nice & helpful. Building clean & neat. It appears it was a very small park prior & new owners adding spaces. Perhaps in time the missing amenities will be added. For a brief stay (2-3 days) there is time to see the Great Sand Dunes Natl Park. Not much else there or open.

The owners are very hands-on resulting in a well run campground. We were in a motorhome but I noticed how nice the tent camping spaces were. The older section has big trees and some grass. The newer section has no trees and could benefit from additional gravel but it appears they are just getting started with that section. Very nice family campground.

The amenities and staff at this KOA were wonderful. I loved staying here and hope to do so again - however, the path leading to the office is unstable and caused my mom to fall and bruise a rib. This was reported to the staff, who claimed that they would put up a warning sign. However, by the next evening no warning sign had been erected yet. This is a safety hazard and should be corrected.

We had a great experience at the Alamosa KOA. The sites are the biggest we've ever seen at a private campground. The staff is awesome - they do a great job keeping the campground. Need firewood or a pizza? Just text the office! Trash was picked up from our site each morning. We'll definitely stay again the next time we visit the Sand Dunes.

Close to the Sand Dunes and Alamosa. We had a nice end site with shade. Our daughter enjoyed the pool.

Great facilities and staff, convenient to the sand dunes and city of Alamosa. Lots of activities for the kids and the weekend pancake breakfast was a big hit. Will definitely be back!

Definitely one of the best KOAs we've stayed in so far. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. Love the ability to order pizza, receive text updates, and the pancake breakfast! Very nice setting as well.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites could use some work, but they were level and good sized, at least in the new section. They are working hard on making improvements. Try the pizza.

Very nice campground, clean and some great services, Little store on site. Clean bathrooms, great views, super helpful staff. We had site #6, the site is not leveled although not something you cannot solve with leveling blocks, It was also rainy and out spot got pretty muddy. Overall I'd recommend this KOA, will be happy to come again.

The water pressure in the new section is horrible. Would not return to this park because of it unless stay in older section. You need to correct this problem. Enjoyed the food prepared and felt i was very reasonable.

Wonderful friendly staff, we arrived at the campground having issues with our truck and although it was a very busy time the manager owner Les went out of his way to accommodate us potentially for a second night. Thankfully we were able to get into a dealership and got on the road to Colorado Springs without a delay to our plans. Thank you Les and staff for all you do!

Everyone was SO friendly and welcoming! Our site was great and we enjoyed the rock painting for the kids, ice cream social, and pancake breakfast. We will be back.

Stayed 3 nights. Friendly staff. Received daily text messages reminding to put garbage out , breakfast available at office, and the make Hunt pizza and wings if you don’t want to cook. Visited the Great Sand Dunes National Park! Awesome experience! Beautiful views!

My stay was a pleasure although the wind howled the whole time so no campfires �� The store charges $4 per gallon of water for a 89 cent gallon from the supermarket! Not nice Cent gallon at the supermarket.

Connie was able to take care of us when we ran into an issue traveling. Very grateful. Have been there twice. - will definitely go again. area was clean, well kept, quiet, staff friendly and helpful.

This campground is just our ideal Of what a campground should be. Set nestled between the Ricky and Sangre de Cristo mountains, the site is ideal. It is near Great Sand Dunes National Park and just 3/10 of a mike from the entrance to Alamosa NWR. Staff is courteous and helpful. Only one night stay before heading home to Santa Fe, great stay.

The grounds are very well kept. Staff are friendly. Everything is clean. Could use another toilet, though. The views of Mt Blanca and the Sangre de Christos is brilliant. Quiet and relaxing.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
