I feel this is the best KOA we have stayed at. The employees are helpfull and friendly. We received text messages from them. Telling us we should put our hose away due to a possable freeze, or anything else we should know. The place is spotless and they were always driving around making sure everything was perfect. They deliver ice, firewood, and PIZZA !!!!

Love the park and the location. Clean restrooms. Wish the WiFi was stronger. Cable tv due to lack of over the air tv would be a big plus. We will be back.

Great place for a night or two. All utilities worked, they pick up your trash each morning, can have tasty pizza delivered to your site and have a fenced dog park. Would have rated it higher but WIFI wasn’t very useable. They had repeaters so you could connect but bandwidth was almost nonexistent - as in not downloading email. Regardless-we would stay again for a night or two if ever that way.

Very nice and helpful people. Sent texts daily to offer services. Would rate the highest rating if the grounds were nicer- more trees, grass etc.

Great place to stay! The only problem that we had was when we returned to the site after dark and had trouble finding the driveway. Perhaps a light needs to be installed to illuminate the driveway.

My first stay in a travel trailer. It was just a way point on my journey. The staff is very friendly, the site is primitive, ample room between all. Alamosa is a typical high desert town, lots of dirt and dust. The great thing about my stay is that is actually rained and hard packed the ground. I would stay there again just to explore the hot springs and other areas of interest.

Sites had plenty of space between them where we were. Campground made pizza and wings, could deliver to your site and texted re this and free coffee in the morning

Very quiet and clean park. Close to National Park and town. Great place to view the stars. Only wish they had cable. No TV stations anywhere.

Great little campground. We were greeted upon driving into the campground and taken directly to our spot. They offer pizza and will deliver it to your spot if you don't want to cook or leave for dinner. We received multiple texts to let us know that the office would be closing for the day, or for trash pickup, etc. I thought that was a nice add-on.

Thanks for the great night’s stay! Clean facilities, showers, laundry, friendly host. Late check-in system was well setup as well. Super convenient to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. 5 stars!

We didn’t have high hopes for this park, but we were delighted. Great staff, very clean restrooms and a beautiful view. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We are ending a 11 week trip and are headed home. Could not ask for a better stopover.

The staff and service were great; very friendly and helpful. The pizza made on-site was good and delivered to our door! Our site was large and clean and had some new landscaping that was nicely done. The only negative is that the site, the patio, the driveways and the streets are all dirt and they are very dusty.

We had 3 nights. The staff was great. Our spot was shaded. The staff kept us informed of weather. They pick up your garbage. Shower a little tight. Would like to see a family bathroom/shower. Highly recommend this place.

Four nights in a quiet, well maintained park. Checking in was great as we didn't even have to get out of the truck. We took advantage of the pizza delivery service one night and were very satisfied with the delivery and quality of the food. All in all, a fine camping experience.

We were greeted & escorted by a friendly guy. Our site was fairly level, just long enough for 32’ Airstream & 22’ truck. Utilities worked as expected. Garbage pickup at site. Text message reminders were helpful. Easy drive to Great Sand Dunes NP. Town had everything we needed. Overall good stop on our way back East.

For an overnight on the road, this park isn't bad. However, there are few trees and little grass, the sites are closely spaced and the neighbors' fire pits may fill your coach with smoke.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alamosa KOA. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Coffee first thing in the morning started our day. The sites are lovely and there are great restrooms around the grounds so you don't have to go to the main building to use the toilet. This was a big plus!! We will definitely visit Alamosa KOA again.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
