Been here before - perfect location for exploring the area before heading down to New Mexico! Campground is immaculate and all amenities are in perfect shape.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to be around. That includes the workers and the other campers. Neat view of the Dunes! Very relaxing.

Love the patio site with a gas grill. Staff is super. Respond to their welcome text with a request and they will take care of it. Pizza delivery is an option.

Quick stay/only one night. Very nice staff. Just wish that the view we paid extra for could be seen from our RV’s large front window given the heat and bugs this time of year to be outside at times. Would’ve been nice to be a pull thru in opposite direction to wake up to the beautiful mountains and sand dunes from afar. �

Enjoyed the stay and the staff was great. The on-site made pizza was very tasty. Trash pickup every morning was very nice, first campground I ever had that done.

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. We booked again for next year. Will definitely recommend this one to our friends. The patio sites are awesome!

Easy after hours check in. Beautiful campus with trees/no trees and views. Far enough off the highway to be quiet. Will definitely do again sometime

It was our first KOA stay, and we were in awe that customer care and service still reign. A very clean and organized facility. Great communication. ' Thank you for making our stay so delightful, although we fear all other camps will pale in comparison.

We were staying near a tent sight and the owner had 3 dogs that were barking early in the morning, late at night, these dogs were very misbehaved and unruly, we went by the dog park and they were out of control, owner did put them in his car, but they were out of his control, very scary situation and the owner was never in control of his dogs, Only issue, everything else was nice.

Nice area and lots of places to venture to using this as your base camp. Liked the informational texts, check in was a breeze and they even deliver pizza and pick up your trash! Nice KOA!

The folks working there deserve a raise. Top notch crew. I just bought some land outside of Ft. Garland and my people will hear about the KOA before I direct them to a hotel. I stayed in the Valley Motel one night before calling KOA. It was triple the price and it was filthy and had no hot water. KOA was steaming hot and the internet signal was better.

We needed a place to stay to visit Great Sand Dunes. the staff was very helpful in giving ideas for places to visit / hike to besides the dunes. We will be back to the area to see other sites and will definitely stay here.

Staff very courteous and helpful. The park was kept very clean and maintained well. Outstanding services including pizza and wood delivery and rtash pick-up. This KOA is worth the price.

Great staff, loved Jo. Wonderful gluten free pizza made safely for me! Popcorn was great. Only bad thing was I missed the pajama party and guessing on the candy core.

we only stayed 1 night but everyone was really nice and it was very clean and surprisingly quiet even though next to the highway. We will stay again if in that area!

This is by far the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The staff is positively amazing. The sites are awesome. The view is great. I will be posting everywhere how great it is.

We spend a few days here every year during our travels. The views of Mt. Blanca are breathtaking! I love the expansions and upgrades they are making. The ability to text the management is very convenient.

The camp spots are dirty and no grass or green. Plus they allowed a tent in the Rv spots. With all the empty spots they could have at least separated us from the tent people.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
