We were only there overnight and got about 6 texts regarding the happenings around the campground…a little much! Sites and area was well maintained and the escorter is who checked us in since we had a paid reservation already…no contact is starting to be one of our favorite ways to check in!

Great service from the staff, very clean and well kept park. The laundry has good machines but at almost $5 per load the cost is a bit excessive. The sites are very long and well kept. Great pool and the food service to your site is great. The Kamp K9 is good sized and well kept and our dogs enjoyed the area. Overall a great place to stay with helpful and friendly staff. Great location!

Some what pricy but a great park for the money. Faculties where well maintained and clean. Laundry very clean. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. They have pizza and chicken bites that are delivered right to your camp site. They come to your camp site every morning and pick up your trash. Their service goes above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again

We appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and the friendly staff! All of the campers were very considerate and we made some new friends during our stay.

The rock between 59 and 60, along with the pickup across the street, made it not possible to pull out, so I had to back out.

Nice park. Not many sites have full hookups but dump station was well located. Very friendly staff.

Our initial campsite was inadvertently given to someone else, but Assistant Manager Jo made it right, by giving us a better site! Jo, Dale, Fred, and all of the other staff are very friendly and they keep the grounds in excellent shape. They really make the campsite feel like home. AMAZING bathrooms and other amenities, I hope all KOAs are as good as the one in Alamosa!

This was my first stay at a KOA and I have to say I was surprised by the friendly staff and overall stay. I booked a buddy site since it was cheaper and I ended up with great neighbors. I certainly will stay at a KOA again when the need arises. We prefer to be out on our own but would not hesistate to use KOA in the future.

We’ve stayed at this KOA for many years, except for last year (Covid year) and it has developed into an awesome KOA!! We’ve always been happy with it but they now offer so many services, we almost felt guilty! Already looking forward to next year!!

only draw back was, our site was 39 and a motorhome was next to our fire-pit the 1st night so we used a vacant site on the other side. 2nd night we were unable to use the firepit at all. Our granddaughters were very dissappointed.

Nice place, pleasant stay- just wish there wasn’t so much highway traffic noise! This was a great location for doing day-trips; Hooper Pool (Sand Dunes Recreation), Great Sand Dunes, Breweries, drive to Creede, etc thank you for an enjoyable time!!

We enjoyed the camping experience greatly only had one issue with one family staying 20 to 30 minutes in the dog park playing fetch with their dogs��

The after hour ticket (22) I picked was for a 50 amp site, when I drove over to the site it was occupied, so I pulled into 20 ?maybe 22,to set up and when I went to plug in it was only a 30 amp. I was tired from driving it was close to 9:30pm, so I decided just to stay in site # 20, I took the envelope for 22 back and wrote it was taken, but could t find the envelope for 20. Disappointed

Decent spots. Ours was very level which was nice. Some of the playground and other amenities were a little worn down. Nice overnight spot to hit Great Sand Dunes

There was no internet, this is a great failure to me, free WIFI is the main reason I stay in KOA campgrounds. Other then that no issue with the park.

This campground tries hard to make your stay enjoyable. Common areas (bathroom, laundry, office, playground) are clean and we'll kept. Text communication is excellent throughout your stay. My only issue is the weeds at the site. Very little prairie like grass. Just unmowed weeds.

Campground entrance looks great, then you'll find weeds and very little grass, dirt not gravel at the campsites. Alamosa is in an arid environment. Water for manicured grass areas is not expected, however, weed management beyond weed whacking and graveled sites is a common sense remedy. Staff is friendly. Trash is collected each morning.

My wife and I had a great stay this past spring. We had two nights here to enjoy the local attractions (not long enough). The people are friendly, helpful, and very knowable about the local area. The camp sites were very clean, level, and ours came with a grill (so we did not half to unpack ours). We are looking forward to stay there again.
