Since 1927, the Fourth of July in Steamboat Springs has celebrated more than national pride – it's an annual opportunity for the Yampa Valley community to honor our Western heritage. Fireworks and Preventing Wildfires Steamboat Springs will not offer a firework display as part of its Independence Day Celebration. Our community places a high value on wildfire prevention, and we thank visitors and residents in advance for not using fireworks in Steamboat Springs this Fourth of July.
