This koa is awesome. Great people, great facility. Always a joy to come here. My only criticism would be the Wi-Fi. Very slow and intermittent. It’s great that you offer it, but please if you are going to offer it, please upgrade it a bit

Only stayed 1 night, checked in late and staff was most accommodating! Nice site, clean bathrooms and showers. Breakfast area was a welcome addition.

Super nice people running the park, we got a great breakfast from the cafe, the park lays out really nice and big, gated at night gives an extra layer of security, we will definitely make this our San Antonio stop in the future

We were warned about bike thefts but we had the end caps off of our trailer bumper stolen. Not super expensive just a hassle to locate. Told front desk and their response was would anyone take them. Not any fun to stay where theft is occiring.

Campground has a lot to offer in way of activities including a restaurant. It is very close to the Alamo and the Riverwalk which is what we wanted to see and do. The campground is well maintained, large spaces, wide roads, and right next to a greenway good for walking or riding bikes.

The team and staff here are always friendly and beyond helpful! We've now returned to this park multiple times, and always greeted with the same smile and attention as if it's the first time! The property is in the middle of a renovation upgrading more sites to the premium with swings and larger concrete patio areas. The finished product turns out to be a real comfortable family experience!

San Antonio Alamo KOA is one of the best RV Park we've stayed at. We usually stay at Military RV Park but both Sam Houston and Lackland RV parks were full. We had an emergency stay at the VA hospital and needed a place for our RV and this place gave us a place to stay �� Special thanks to Sandy for having us check in before time as we were tired and stressed. Thank you!

Nice gated park. The staff is awesome! Very close to the Alamo. Space was plenty long enough for my truck and fifth wheel but not much room on the sides.

Facilities and Staff was Great! However the cabin wasn’t so great! Heater didn’t work properly! Thermostat didn’t work! Either too hot or too cold! Not just my cabin because I was told by another camper he had the same problem. For the price it should have been repaired!

Restrooms are clean. It’s gated and with good reason, Doesn’t seem to stop people from steeling your bicycle. Some of the staff friendly and helpful mainly the gate attendant..

great place to stay but wifi is terrible and it was on repeater approximately 30 feet away. As a person familiar with technology this needs to be improved. An option is to have koa offer paid fast internet as some other places I have been to

Really enjoyed the campground. Amenities were quite nice, restrooms were spotless. Loved the proximity to city bike trail. Camp K9 was a little rough but a nice size area.

Excellent place to stay!! Very friendly and helpful staff! Super clean restrooms and shower plus they have a small restaurant that cooks very good food! Don’t let the pictures fool you, this is a VERY nice, clean campground very close to The Alamo and Riverwalk. We will definitely be back!

This is a quiet, safe campground. Close to the Alamo and River Walk. Our grandkids live in San Antonio and came to visit us at the campground a couple times. They spent hours at the playground. Lots of things to do in the area.

The only request I had was a fire ring because we wanted to hang around the camp fire and the lady who took my reservation failed to fill my request.

Very nice KOA. Clean and well maintained. People were very nice and accommodating. The general neighborhood may be a little sketchy however.

Nice place to camp. We went in Jan 2022. Quiet place, friendly staff. Nice laundry room. Gated community. Very easy to find.

Enjoyed our stay here. The sites were very nice. Lots of trees, the help was very helpful and friendly. Close enough to things we wanted to see. Only thing we thought was gross was the neighbors sewer ran right by our picnic table. Needless to say we didn't use the table. Otherwise the park was very nice. Oh and their heated pool was freezing cold. They explained that it's heated with a heat pump, there was nothing warm about it.
