We are a family with young kids. This campsite was nice and the people were great. We found this campground to be very sleepy though and much more geared towards retirees. They do have a nice pool but since it wasn’t heated the kids really didn’t utilize it. Make sure you have a surge protector for your rig! We really enjoyed our stay here. The restrooms/showers are great, nice and clean. We ate at the cafe one morning and it was very good!! The office/welcoming staff are so helpful and friendly. Easy in and out sites, level and easy to navigate. Lots of walking area, friendly neighbors, fun watching the squirrels. The carolers were a bonus!!!

Staff was friendly. Some sites are longer for big rigs; however, the width of the sites are very narrow and there is very little space between campers. It feels like living in the hood. We have a 45’ motor boom with slide outs. There were some other sites that were wider but we were stuffed into a narrow site for 3 nights. If you plan to stay request a wide site

The park was large with plenty of things to do. The people were friendly and the sites were large. We were very happy with our visit!

One of our favorite places. Friendly staff. Restaurant with great breakfast. Clean restrooms And showers as well as a little store for things you forgot. Love it here. Close to everything.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The park was exceptionally clean. I loved the trees, the paved path trail next to the property, the enclosed dog park and pull through spots. They also had a cute store, a pizza shop and a breakfast cafe on site. It was too cold to jump in the pool this trip. We would stay again next time we're in the area.

Convenient location. Facilities are nice but not quite what I would call premium. Enjoyed the cafe and the breakfasts. The fire, smores and Christmas carols were fantastic

Thief ring stealing electric bikes. Not a safe place

We do apologize this unfortunate theft happened while you were in the park. We are working with Law enforcement and have submitted footage from our security cameras throughout the park. I do hope you visit us in the future.

Had a great time as always. Only problem is WIFI. I have recenly been here three different weekends and It is hit and miss. Sometimes it is non-existent. Wish it were better. KOA employees are great and friendly.

One of the Best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. All Staff were professional and friendly. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great. We will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We have been to KOA's across Texas and in several states and this is one of the best. We will be back.

Campsite is very nice with plenty of room. Lots of nice trees and a very friendly staff. Restrooms are spotless . Campsite is on one of the local path paths and it is easy to ride to local sites. Directly, in front of the campsite is a bus stop that allows direct access to downtown/The Alamo/ River Walk.

Fantastic park. Incredibly clean. Lots of trees. Salado Creek & pond for fishing. Beautiful pool. Huge playground. Flat, paved spaces and roadways. Clean, well-maintained bath house. Nice, well-stocked store. Great staff. Breakfast cafe & pizza shop onsite. Top notch.

Everything was great! It is a very nice and well run Koa. My only suggestion would be to not put customers who are staying a week or more in the front transient spots. Our stay would have been much more quiet and enjoyable if we had not been in that front area. There is a lot of street noise at all hours of the night and a lot of rv movement around us. Other than that the stay was great!

Great location to base from to explore San Antonio river walk and Alamo. Easy on/off either I-35 or I-10. Nice pool but it would be used more if heated or there was a spa/hot tub to get in after a cool dip. Having just come from a different KOA in Texas that had both, I can’t give San Antonio KOA the same 5 star rating we gave the other location.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. They answered any questions we had. The campground was clean and orderly. All the facilities were also clean. Anything we wanted or needed the staff either Got for us or informed us where to go to get it. Very nice place I will highly recommend it to all we meet! The campground is conveniently located near downtown San Antonio and just a city bus ride away

Great park. Well maintained, great location, beautiful grounds. The sites are really nice with comfy equipment in great shape. You don’t find a lot of rv parks as nice as this. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We are retired and have been camping for MANY years. This San Antonio/Alamo KOA is our favorite KOA ever. The park has the most delicious breakfast menu, gorgeous walking trails, shady oak trees, small lake, pool and great office staff. There is even a bus stop to downtown that is located across from their main gate. (Yes, it's gated!) Couldn't ask for more.

Overall this is a very nice park, but a bit pricy. The price for propane was $4.19 a gallon! Gravel, level spaces with grass between spaces. If you have a patio you also receive a wood fire pit, charcoal grill, an umbrella table with chairs. The staff is friendly. Kamp K9 was spacious and covered with bark. Our pup was completely entertained with the squirrels, they were everywhere.

We had a great time! Checkin was fast and we were greeted by two amazing and wonderful ladies. They were super courteous and polite, explained everything. Our campsite was very clean and level. We didn’t have to go searching for our campsite, we were escorted and just drove in the proper direction. Had breakfast at the pavilion and pizza for dinner, all at the camp! Beautiful river and lake too!

Very nice KOA. Clean and well maintained. People were very nice and accommodating. The general neighborhood may be a little sketchy however.

Nice place to camp. We went in Jan 2022. Quiet place, friendly staff. Nice laundry room. Gated community. Very easy to find.

Enjoyed our stay here. The sites were very nice. Lots of trees, the help was very helpful and friendly. Close enough to things we wanted to see. Only thing we thought was gross was the neighbors sewer ran right by our picnic table. Needless to say we didn't use the table. Otherwise the park was very nice. Oh and their heated pool was freezing cold. They explained that it's heated with a heat pump, there was nothing warm about it.
