Wonderful! Tent sites are right by the water, we could move to grassier unoccupied section on our last night. Bob's *giving* awesome Beanie /sequin toy per child (so generous) due to overstock. Clean bathrooms. Good coffee for only $1 with real creamer. Amazing proximity to Steamboat downtown and start of bike path. The cabins are beautiful too. Fair rate ($30 tent site) & impressive playground.

We camped for 3 nights. Staff was incredibly friendly!! They came by each morning and gave our pups treats. The location was perfect! We hung out in Steamboat each day. We would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone visiting the Steamboat area. Happy Trails, from The Lost Girls!

Had a nice tent site (D) by the river. The staff was wonderful with my special needs child. Friendly and very helpful, we had a problem with our car battery and they were there instantly to help solve the problem. The only disappointment was the restrooms, they need upgrading and enlarging, A handicapped person would have difficulty with the toilet area. Pool and playground were favorites with my

I called and asked if tent sites were on grass and was told Yes but site #2 is all gravel. Noisy place and a yapping dog in cabin next to me.

Reminded me of camping as a kid with my own children. Awesome playground, pool, mini golf, nightly activities like bingo and outside movies, river floats, fishing, and an amazingly accommodating and welcoming staff. 100% will recommend! -Perry

After checking in and seeing the campsite I elected not to stay there and went to a state park instead. The tent site was basically in the parking lot behind the office and totally unacceptable. A refund of my fee would be appreciated.

What a fun-filled park. Activities abound. Best of all we had a tent spot right by the River. Relaxing, professional staff, clean.

Unbeknownst to us, the water and restroom facilities were shut down for all of the tent camping areas. Considering this was one of the most expensive KOAs we have stayed at in recent months, it would have been beneficial to know that facilities and water were not at all available in the tent area. Also, despite saying there was a tent pad, no such pad existed and the site was not level at all.

No notice of registration package being left out for pick up. No one answers the phone, 13 attempted calls after hours. No code to access bathrooms upon arrival, had to go into town to use a bathroom. We were told fires were not permitted only to see 5 fires burning that night. Terrible experience!

The facilities were well maintained, and the setting is beautiful! The staff were on top of maintenance, and even showed us to our campsite! We definitely will be back.

The front desk messed up our reservation for two sites. She was not very helpful and made us feel like we were the ones who did not make the reservations properly, even though she was who we had spoke to on the phone weeks earlier. As it turned out, we made the reservations perfectly and she didn't link them properly in the computer. Refused to give us any discount or apology. Nickel and dimed us

Just a quick jaunt to Steamboat for some mountain biking. Was supposed to be for a high school MTB race, but that was cancelled. Came anyway for the awesomeness. The KOA itself is friendly, clean, organized, and pro.

Our first KOA experience! The bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly. Our camping neighbors were enjoying the experience too. We loved it and hope to return in the future.

I came about 45 minutes early and was told my site was ready and I needed to pay extra. A local friend wanted to stop by to see my tent. They charge $10 for that quick visit. I was told I had a deluxe river site. It was near the river but in the middle of a hot, treeless field. The shower is locked. I had to walk back to my car to get the code.

We enjoyed this campground. The only thing that we didn’t care for was how close our neighbors were. We also had people walk through our campsite that weren’t being respectful of our space. But that is out of the control of KOA.

Was not very satisfied with our stay. We tented out and on the website it had stated we would have a "grass pad" for our tent to be setup over. However when we arrived our camp site was just dead grass and mostly dirt and very bumpy. It made our tent experience very uncomfortable even with sleeping bags and blankets. Also our neighbors were extremely noisy. Probably won't be back..

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
