great site, friendly staff and loved the free shuttle into town

Worst experince we have had a KOA, as a result we will not be renewing our rewards memebership and will likley not visit another KOA in the future. Your office staff is condecending, rude, and spoke to our children on multiple occations inappropriatly. And when this was brought to thier attention and Managment attention they were rude and condecending with us parents. Not worth the time or $$.

Did not appreciate them turning water pressure down, especially for the price of the stay, husband stepped in Big hole in pavement, hurt himself. And kids racing around on rental 3 wheelers, much more than 5 mi per hour. Dogs off leashes!

The person who checked us in was so welcoming and made us feel like she truly cared about our experience. I believe I have also spoken with her over the phone prior to our arrival and she was always so accommodating and friendly. I am sorry I didn’t catch her name but hopefully you have records to find out who checked us in so she can be recognized. Adam and Mark were also helpful. Thank you!

It was the best KOA Ive ever stayed at. Every one was so nice and friendly. Smiles and waves everywhere. Special shoutout to Chris the grounds man who helped me a lot. True class man!!

Enjoyed the miniature golf, excellent clean bathrooms, walks along the river and terrific personability of the staff. Also found what we needed in the store. Excellent locale - wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing time at the Steamboat Springs KOA! It exceeded all of our expectations. The cabin setting on the river was beautiful, the facilities were clean and well-cared for, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Adam and Carlene. We can't wait to come back with more friends and family. Thank you!

We stayed at Steamboat Springs KOA for whole week for a family reunion. The staff was very friendly and they were willing to help in anyway. We booked 2 years out and some of the campsites got canceled due to the campground doing construction. The staff allowed those who got canceled to put up tents in places that did not allow tents. They were very accommodating with our 25+ family.

Site #12 where we were put had a stagnant pond behind our campsite, so the smell wasn’t pleasant at times. It kept us from sitting out, relaxing, in our chairs. So, we rode the bus into town more than we would have. Other than that, we though the campground was nice.

The staff was wonderful. The store was well stocked. The place was neat and clean. The cabin was awful. I had to sleep upstairs: it was hot, loud and I pee’d in a Gatorade bottle to avoid climbing up and down the ladder at night. No camp fires, no fishing, no wading or swimming in the river.

We have stayed at many Koa's across the USA and this was by far our worst experience. Highway 40 which runs in front of the campground was extremely busy and noisy. We asked for a different spot away from the road and was told they were full, that was not an option although we could see several empty ones. We stayed one night and left forfeiting the money we paid for a second night.

Staff was unbelievably helpful and responsive. Todd and JR went above and beyond to help get our cable working in our new rig. Campground was clean and well kept.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! They helped out with a special request for the day we departed and we really appreciated that. Thank You! The sites are a little small but with everything there is to do both in the park and the surrounding area we found we were not at our site much.

It was nice but our only complaint was all of the barking dogs in the campground. And the owners didn't quiet them down.

A call 1 week before arrival put me in a panic when Bob stated we only had reservations until Friday. He did not check the second reservation which started Friday & went till Monday morning. Maria was awesome and put me at ease. The rest of the front desk staff were awesome when a cancellation came up and we could move to a better site. Accolades to Adam who was the ringleader of this event.

Good location, close to Steam Boat Springs downtown. Very clean baths and restrooms. Dog friendly premises. Pool might be bigger.

We love the Steamboat KOA. It’s a great place to stay with convenient bus access to a fun town. No problems with our stay - even the WiFi worked well!

Roomy level sites #39 & #16, ladies in the office we're friendly and informative. There was a younger guy in the office that seemed angry and made me nervous when trying to ask him a simple question about my internal site transfer. I simply avoided going back in until he was out of the office. The ladies more than made up for it. Thank you for the stay, we will come back!

My kids and I enjoyed our stay at the cottages very much. Supper cute and everything we needed. The town is amazing too and so fun. The only thing lacking for comfort would be an AC unit for the hot Summer months as all the was provided was a fan that we had to move around from loft to living area. Other than that our stay was perfect and would recommend Steamboat Springs KOA cabins.

The staff were super-helpful from beginning to end. Journey combined my several night reservations into one site so that I didn’t have to move nightly. Wonderful! When I needed help with a stuck hitch someone was at my side immediately. The office people were kind and professional. This is a pretty and immaculate campground and the pride in ownership shows! The staff are incredible. Todd helped our son find his way back to us after getting lost on a bike ride and another team member gave him a football to toss. From check-in to check-out, everyone was wonderful and so welcoming. Thanks for the great stay!

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
