Very well maintained, plenty of staff. Bathroom/showers were clean and serviced frequently. Great store on site. The staff checked in now in then (I was there alone for a week with my dog). Convenient to Steamboat Springs and other activities.

Mark from the staff was amazing!!!! We had a tire issue and he went way above and beyond in helping us! Provided a bunch of equipment to help us while also offering up his muscle and encouragment!!!!

A horror show. Not worth 1/4 of the high nightly fees, No shade, no grass, a congested trailer parking lot, construction and excavators and dump trucks all day, This is not an outdoor camping experience. An RV slum.

Steamboat Springs KOA has to be one of the best campgrounds… my family loved the pool, playground and free mini golf to occupy downtime. Showers were clean, staff was friendly and the convenience store had any missed items. We would definitely stay at this KOA again!

We stayed in KT8 and the toilet was on an uneven surface. Every time you say in it the toilet would rock when sat on. The fans inside the cabins were a huge help with the heat since there is no air conditioning.

This was a very nice site. The wifi was strong and the AT&T phone service worked well. They had a free local shuttle that picked up frequently providing service to downtown. We used the showers which were clean. We also took advantage of the laundry; washers and dryers were relatively new. Would stay again.

The one thing I would do to improve one would be the areas back in will pull through that have grass work on trying to actually have grass in the back in #32 was basically just patch weeds so I don’t know what your budget to allow you to do but makes a lot of difference we like it so that’s my thoughts

Great staff for the entire camp ground, friendly, and helpful. The up keep and maintenance of the camp ground immaculate, the showers/bathrooms always clean. Will definitely come back again

No water pressure for a shower in the camp showers or in our camper (when in city water). We talked to manager in office and they said it was because they were watering grass. Not very nice about the situation

Staff was great! Close to town and activities, but still out of town and along the river. I’m interested in the new renovations across the river. Should be great. Miniature golf and play area for kids. Would stay again on our next time through Colorado.

This site is currently undergoing renovation. Not all campers need to wake up to construction noises at 8:00 AM. Can't believe they were starting the loud stuff that early.

Great interactions with the staff. Camp store was fully loaded. Cabin was great - I just wished it had AC for those hot days and early evenings. A fan was provided. The view was awesome right on the river.

Super friendly staff! Well maintained grounds. The GM Bob, Carlene and Peter ensured we had extraordinary support when we had mechanical issues and helped give us peace of mind that we'd have a place to stay if needed. Thank you!! We'll be back!

For the most part the stay was good, sites are a bit narrow, but doable for what we needed. The only major issue was the water pressure. While I realize that there are high usage times and all, but to get up in the morning and not be able to take a shower due to very low to no water pressure is unacceptable given the price you pay to stay at a KOA.

Great stay! So much fun with kids and pups. Only issue was our refrigerator didn’t work but they helped find a small unit for the remainder of the stay

Only issue is the construction on the island. Takes away from the quiet experience but it will be nice in the future. As always, we look forward to next year.

What a fantastic park. I love KOA’s for the amenities and this park did not disappoint. Very kind staff and we had a beautiful spot right in the river. We will definitely be coming back!

The management were helpful and pleasant, but this is the most I’ve paid for a KOA spot ($70), which included an extra $5 per dog, which I have 3. I was on a dirt / gravel spot with a small patch of grass with a stagnant pond behind my van—no trees or shade. I was out on an edge, hoped for better spot gonsideting the $. Thank you

We just spent one night in a camping cabin. What I likes was the sound and view of the river flowing by. Slept well!

The people were friendly and facilities were clean. Disappointed that we were directly next to a very busy road and a big dirt pile, with construction, and we were not notified in advance.

We were so well taken care of during our stay. The staff was so friendly and informative. We especially enjoyed Adam and Journey, they were both hilarious, super kind and helpful. We look forward to returning next year and seeing all of the cool improvements on the island. We will be customers for life at this KOA!

Site 11 is no site at all but only a wide spot in the road. That oily pool behind the site is a wretched addition. Come on, I’ve stayed at other KOAs and never had a site like this. And to say that it’s “on the river” is a blatant falsehood.

We are brand new to using any travel trailer and the staff could not have been more helpful and more thoughtful in making sure we had an amazing experience!! They were polite, patient, and so welcoming. We look forward to visiting again.

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
