Has site 3 right on the river. Great neighbors, even with a rainy, cool evening. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Something affected the water supply in the evening and the entire campground had no water for a while, which made us miss our showers. We last early to get on the road for Oregon and the dumpsters were locked for bear prevention, so we couldn’t get rid of our garbage.

The river was closed and we were not allowed to go in it- an email about the closure with an opportunity to cancel would have been very helpful. Especially for $270 - wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I also loved the temperature of the heated pool. It was set at a great temperature that was inviting for more than just polar bears:) Thank you!

Camped in a muddy spot right next to a highway that was busy all night. We are just not used to being so close to neighbors and had no shelter, which we like. Picnic table was old and splintery. Toilets and showers clean. Pool looked nice. I think a crowded KOA is not our cup of tea.

The staff was friendly. The restrooms and the rest of the campgrounds were clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay!

Very close to and accessible to downtown Steamboat. Nice amenities - pool, store, showers, etc. Also has river access for dipping your toes, altho not deep enough for actual swimming. Overall, quite nice.

The spots are very close together but they do have nice patios. The grass is more like mowed down weeds. Good location to town.

Great base for doing alot around Steamboat. Facilities are good though individual RV sites show their age.

Three nights. Perfect hospitality. Gracious staff (thanks for picking up, filling and delivering my propane tanks to my camp site, Jim!). Clean and tidy place. Easy access to site. And it’s Colorado!!!!!! What more can you ask for !!!!

The office staff was friendly and helpful! Todd was very helpful getting our trailer backed in to the site. The pool was clean and refreshing.

Need a screen in kitchen window. Some smells from dump station located next to cabin. Nice cabin comfortable and clean

This KOA was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The staff was helpful and really cared about your stay at their campground. Chris that helped us with an issue with our RV was especially helpful!

The campsites were well maintained and not close to one another. Bathrooms were clean, the campground store had many items for sale. The staff was friendly as well. The campground also had a pool and miniature golf course. On a regular basis, city buses would pick up and drop off campers desiring to go downtown. With this bus service, there was no need to drive your car downtown.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My spot wasn’t awesome though, it backed up to a fetid pond and the highway. The facilities were very clean and nice. The other guests were friendly and quiet.

Jim and Carlene were awesome …. EXTREMEMLY helpful. Only complaint (and it is my problem!) is that I didn’t book early enough to get full hookups for entire stay. Smart move to expand over the river …. Sure hope they will have more full hookups.

Was not happy with our site next to the Highway. Restrooms needed cleaning. I appreciate that the campground also had some construction going on and it was very busy but still not sure we’d be back

Lots of shade. Pleasant enough. The bathrooms/showers were filthy. Stuff to do at the campground. Just meh! they charged me $5 for my dog when I got there. Said it didn't show that I already paid for her. When I got home and checked my receipt it showed I had already paid the $5 for my dog. So I guess I paid $10 for having a dog.

Staff were amazing, sites were very small and difficult to maneuver into, there was 7am construction going on behind our site and a mattress floating in the pond next to our spot. This is my first experience at a KOA, I primarily stay at state and national parks, but the convenience and availability led me to stay here. The site was more expensive than a typical park camping rate and disappointing

I loved the convenience of being on the free bus system to town, and the koa staff members were wonderful. The only reason I rated my stay so low was due to the constant traffic noise emanating from hwy 40, which lasted well into the night.

I had a great stay. They’ve got a great campground and most of the staff was really nice. They even offered to help me back into my spot. My only complaint was in the laundry room one of the staff members called out they she was claiming the two machines I was using when a guest was clearly waiting for those machines and there are only 4 washers in total. In my opinion it was quite rude of her.

Not sure why the KOA group has decided to be snobby, but this one does not allow bus conversions also. Seems to be a money thing. Will stay again, just seems to be a bit of what my grandmother would call "high-brow". Nice campground though and good, polite management and employees.

This was my first experience at a KOA. Honestly we loved it. The staff were amazing and always happy. The grounds were well kept and clean. I hope that the rest of the KOA's are as good as Steamboat. Looking forward on returning here and seeing the others. Thank you for a great place to stay.

It was close to town, the people were SO friendly and the kids loved the play area and mini golf and had an awesome time! We'll definitely be back!

The staff was very nice and left us our key for a late check-in. The cabins are quite cozy and you can't beat the price. Very clean.

Great place to winter camp. Super friendly staff and nice clean facilities. Felt very comfortable staying here and letting my kids run free. For people going to the mountain there is a FREE shuttle that comes into the entry every 20 mins. Made it too easy for my family to just hop on the bus and head to the slopes.
